World with new playable character confirmed for Kingdom Hearts III; future D23 Expo reveals undecided

Plus I want to see if the scene from the BbS Final Mix Secret Episode of Kairi in front of the Twilight Town Mansion with Hayner, Pence and Olette will happen! I REALLY hope it does!

Well, with all the frustrating statements from this event it's pretty clear for me that this game ain't coming next year. It will be delayed again and again for sure. To be honest, I can't see it coming anytime soon.

KH3 is already confirmed to come out in 2018. Nomura already said that he's not changing his plans.

If I read all these reports I don't think it will release in 2018 and if it does it would be November or December hell remember Nomura said the script wasn't ready (maybe on purpose so people would not try to steal it or something like that).

KH2 had 4 playable characters: Roxas, Sora, Mickey (when you are dying only) and Riku for a short moment, if KH3 had another playable character it would be either:

-Aqua: because of 2.8 which was originally the opening of KH3 and her animations already exist.

-Mickey: cause people have been asking for that for years he even appeared in Disney infinity with a keyblade as playable.

-Kairi: because fans have also been asking since forever

- Riku cause his mission to find Aqua

I think it kairi he never said it a retuning or new world plus he keeping this person a secret as well

I take the "such a world will come out [where this is possible]" as Kairi being the playable character or Lea. I think it would make sense to begin a tutorial or a climax for KH3 with either young Erauqs, Lea, or Kairi to lead up to a influential peak for the story.

Yeah a possible second playable character in a world probably means Riku in the Realm of Darkness.

Although we had plenty of opportunities to play as Riku, I want to play his adventure in KH3 so badly as I’m loving the RoD..

I'm truly wanted to believe it and rest on his promise of ''it's coming next year". I don't know if you were here when KHII was being released, but as I remember there was some delays on that time. I expect it to happen again and again. We also have to remember that though Nomura have his plans, Square is kinda messed up when it's about release dates. Man, they promoted a whole event to announce the FFXV Universe and release date and delayed it!

We aren't even in 2018 yet, no reason to get nervous. Nomura, as a director (besides his time on XV), has released his games in a timely manner and does not like to give release info unless he knows for certain it will be released on time. As perfectionist as he is, he will make sure the game comes out on time and if those leaks are anything to be believed from months ago, the game will no doubt be released next year.

As long it's not Kairi then I don't mind a second playable character.

I am more than okay with whatever character they choose. I have a few that I'd prefer, but either way this news immensely excites me. 

I'm just very impatient to find out all of the worlds in the game, that's all.
