[Updated] New information & promotional Kingdom Hearts III images released for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater at D23 Expo Japan

The Disney Event Live page for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater has updated with a new Kingdom Hearts III promotional image, as well as more information surrounding the event which will take place prior to D23 Expo Japan 2015 on November 3, 2015. New Kingdom Hearts III information is confirmed to appear at this event.

The updates speak of a talk show with special guests, promising that the show will be a special experience for fans of the Kingdom Hearts series. Below is a translation of the new additions provided by KH13 News Team member soraspromise:

Event summary

At D23 Expo Japan, there will be a special event dedicated to Kingdom Hearts.

 

The main event will have a talk show prepared to talk about the most recent trailer of the Kingdom Hearts series.

 

They will talk about their emotions and reactions toward Kingdom Hearts and we hope this event will be a special personal experience for Kingdom Hearts fans.

 

After the main event, pictures and videos can be taken inside the assembly hall. It is possible for to attend the event dressed as Kingdom Hearts series characters. Please read the guidelines for doing so.

 

Schedule

November 3, 2015 ( Tuesday )

( 1) 13:00 - JST (12:00AM EST) to 14:30 - JST (1:30AM EST) acceptance will start at 12:00 - JST (11:00PM EDT) ~

( 2 ) 16:00 - JST (3:00AM EST) to 17:30 - JST (4:30AM EST) acceptance will start at 15:00 - JST (2:00AM EST) ~

 

※ There is a possibility for the schedule to change.

※ (1) and (2 ) will be the same content.

Below the event summary and details, there is also information about a new Sora Play Arts Kai figure.This figure features Sora in his Kingdom Hearts II Final Form Drive outfit and comes with both the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades, as well as a wide variety of exchangeable hands in different positions. The figure will be sold for 9,800 yen exclusively at the event, with only 999 available.

Update: Yoko Shimomura, composer of the Kingdom Hearts series will be attending the Kingdom Hearts D23 Fan Event along with Hiroyuki Nakayama, who is known to have worked on the Kingdom Hearts series before as a performer and arranger for such titles as Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. They will be performing a live piano performance at the Kingdom Hearts D23 Fan Event.

it was kinda a given that new info will be shown, I would love a Riku based trailer, I wanna see how he looks like in kh3 xD

Okay, we've GOTTA get a release date by then, RIGHT?

 

That's what it seemed like they were saying around E3, but we'll have to wait & see!

I am happy that we get a new trailer in November. Maybe even a release date?But damn, I would like to have that Sora Final form figure...Square why y no want my money?

Yay...except we might not be allowed to have any recorded footage of the trailer....FIRENUGGETS!!! xP

 

Then we'll just have to do it the old fashioned way and wait for the trailer to be released officially =P

The official website for D23 Expo Japan has been updated with a bunch of new information on what fans can expect from their special Kingdom Hearts fan event.

New Trailer

ALong with a bunch of special guests, fans will be able to watch a brand new trailer for the Kingdom Hearts series.

 

Video Shooting and Photo Ops

After the event, they will be conducting video shooting for photos and comments in the hall and invite fans to dress up in cosplay, but urge those planning on cosplaying to review their Costume Guidelines.

 

Sora Final Form Play Arts Kai Available To Purchase

The limited edition Play Arts Kai of 'Final Form' Sora will be available to purchase before the event.

Hopefully we get a release date. Show footage of Big Hero 6 and Frozen and then an announcement trailer for Treasure Planet and we are golden.

Guys it says photos and videos can be taken after the main event which basically means if a trailer is shown we as the public won't get too see it anyway

I'm sure they will be uploaded to the internet by Square Enix anyway. They're not going to show footage to only a couple thousands of people when they know they have people anticipating news for the game.
