Aquaberry

The newest Dengeki PlayStation issue features a 4-page spread on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, showcasing Sora and Riku renders and cutscene and gameplay screenshots from Kingdom Hearts HD Dream Drop Distance; some scenes and gameplay images from Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- that were recently released in a Famitsu Weekly feature; and recently published renders of Aqua, Mickey, the five Foretellers, and the Master of Masters.

Some new screenshots from the Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover are also included in this feature.

Okay I know everyone's probably sick of the comparisons between the foretellers and the current keyblade wielders by now but I can't help noticing that the descriptions of the foretellers' personalities here sound rather familiar. Aced is "too obsessed with power" which is exactly how Eraqus described Terra. Invi is very loyal to her Master just as Aqua was to Eraqus and both tend to hide their true feelings. Ira is reliable and sometimes too serious which also describes Riku (especially in KH2). Ava is gentle and friendly like Kairi. Gula is possibly the odd one out as he's a loner whilst Ventus is definitely a people person. If we extend the comparison to Roxas, however, Roxas greatly valued his friendship with Axel and Xion, as well as Hayner, Pence and Olette, but there were also times when Roxas displayed a lone-wolf personality as well. Like when he stopped trusting Axel and walked out on the Organisation as well as his initial resistance to joining with Sora. Surely these aren't just coincidences?

I'm so intrigued as to why Luxu has been omitted from this. Aside from that, I'm loving the personality types each Forteller has. The Master of Masters is definitely being painted as the instigator for this whole ordeal.

Well the theory actually has Ven as Gula's counterpart, but the same can be said of him.

Has anyone noticed how for Ira and Invi's description, it's "hiding his/her face" behind their masks, and for everyone else, it's just "wears" a bear/leopard/fox mask?

Actually, Gula being related to Roxas isn't as crazy as one may assume... especially when you consider that he's his own being (aka, a "special" Nobody) despite being Sora's Nobody. Plus, if we also "assume" (and I really mean that term very loosely) that Ventus did originate from the X era, the "Reincarnation" theory is still feasible.

Roxas would only be related to Gula the same way hes related to Ven. Like you said, he's his own person, not Ventus or Sora, but he didn't exist until Sora sacrificed himself for Kairi, and thus could not have existed in any way during the era of Fairy Tales. He's a new person born in this era. As I understand it, the reincarnation theory states that the hearts of the Foretellers where reborn into new vessels in this era, meaning beings that only came into existence in this era, such as the Princesses of Heart and Nobodies can't be reincarnations of anyone from before the Keyblade War because their hearts did not exist.
