Remember they're counting all platforms. Naturally, high profile PS4 titles are gonna sell more.

I think is pretty good going to be in 3rd place in UK as PS3 title.

I don't really expect  it to have better sales in America considering that it released right around the time that Smash bros 3DS/Wii U, Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Assassin's Creed Unity/Rogue, CoD, Amiibo Figures, and other big titles are out. It might sell maybe a few thousand copies here in America since those bigger games are out right now. But imo, Square should have waited until all the hype for these new games were down to release KH 2.5 Remix. Especially since Pokemon OR/AS and Smash bros Wii U/3DS were really hyped to the max. 

 

As for this thread. I didn't really expect it to see that well in Europe since its all about sports and Call of Duty over there. That and the fact that SE released it right when all the big games are out. They could have at least give out a commercial so more people would be interested in buying it. But overall I think this was just really bad timing releasing it around the time bigger, more hyped games are out. But hopefully it will sell more copies since the holidays are around. I'm still hopeful that it will sell a decent number of units.

Probably not, but stacked up against these,major new games, it's still probably a fraction of their respective production budgets simply for being a remaster effort all around.

True, but 2 hours of the Re:coded cinematic scenes are all new.

True, with assets being reused with the exceptions of some bug blox, binary code for some Heartless, Data Rikus Heart, a modified Cheshire Cat, the maze in the Coliseum, Roxas and his fight, etc. Basically writing, Voice acting, storyboarding, animation, and editing were paid for.
