E3 2015 Floor Plan Released; Square Enix and Disney booths can be found next to each other

On Saturday, May 30 2015, the floor plan for E3 2015 was released. The floor plan details where each company will have booths set up for those attending the conference in person. Thanks to a member of the NeoGAF forums, the layout can be seen here:

I'm gonna call these floor plans preliminary. The floor plans can be viewed in full here (note, site can be slow): http://www.mapyourshow.com/shows/ind...alt_entry=true

Below are the floor plans of South Hall and West Hall (PMRs and Concourse aren't too interesting, part from Nintendo booking the theatre as always). I have marked where the more interesting exhibitors are:

Notice anything interesting? It seems as though Square Enix and Disney have booths right next to each other at this year's conference! It may not seem like much, but it could be great for speculation. What do you think? Is there significance to the Disney and Square Enix booths being next to each other? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Well is there a significance of Capcom and Konami being next to Disney and Square Enix as well? Or the fact that Microsoft is with Sony? You answer these questions, and then you will see why there is no reason to just jump on board that Square Enix and Disney are there together! Not saying that we won't get KH news, but I don't think having Square Enix with Disney is a clear sign that they are going to be working together at E3!

I didn't say it was a clear sign either. It's just fun to think about the situation as a whole - Square Enix getting their own conference, which will hopefully draw more people to their booth, which is located right next to the Disney booth. Like you said, it could mean absolutely nothing, but we thought it would be a fun article to publish to get people excited for E3!

I'm just excited to see the kind of rage that will be happening at the Konami booth. I didn't really care about Silent Hills but based on what I have seen, Konami is just asking for it now.

I could see the 2 booths together meaning something though the chance would be very slim. But maybe that's because I'm an optimist and love thinking about things that won't happen.

It's nice to see the floor plans however. I am pretty hyped for E3.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if some raging fans went over there. I'm not a huge Silent Hills fan or anything but I feel super bad for all those who really love the series.

Unfortunately, it may be because of Disney Infinity.

let's be honest

if they announced KH/Square Enix figures and sets, most the people in this forum would buy it day one

I guess Square might reveal the release date of Unchained X, along with revealing some new games?

And Disney, perhaps Infinity. Like those Inside Out figures?

Square has a lot to show

there's a reason they booked a full conference
