Coverage: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX launch event in California
Square Enix North America are running a launch event for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX in Anaheim, California, on September 8, 2013 from 12PM to 6PM (PDT). Full details are available here, on the official Facebook event page. Attendees will be able to purchase the full game two days before the game's official release, and participate in a variety of Kingdom Hearts attractions.
We will keep this coverage post updated with any photos from the event that appear.
Update (Sep 21): Square Enix have uploaded their own video of the HD 1.5 ReMIX launch event to YouTube. This can be seen below.
Geek & Sundry Vlogs have uploaded a 5-minute video from the event, showing off the attractions that were available. If you didn't get the chance to attend, then this is a perfect video to see what some of the experience was like!

01:00AM PDT: @churroz has uploaded 23 new photos which show merchandise and other things from the event.
12:25PM PDT: Special prizes are being given out, via a wall called "ReMIX THE HISTORY OF Kingdom Hearts". Attendees are able to take a square from the wall to keep, and if the square has a Golden Mickey on the back, then they are able to receive some merchandise signed by Tetsuya Nomura.
12:20PM PDT: Copies of HD 1.5 ReMIX are being sold at the launch event-- the first English copies of the game to be officially sold anywhere in the world! Square Enix have uploaded a photo of the table full of games, and @churroz has shared photos of the game he picked up. (Stand | Game | PS3 theme card)
12:00PM PDT: The event has started!
9:00AM PDT: People are already lining up outside the event's entrance, hours before it begins. There are said to be around 300 people waiting already, with numbers increasing steadily! (Photo 1 | Photo 2 | Source: @churroz)
