Kingdom Hearts to appear at Disney D23 Expo in Japan

Today, Walt Disney Company Japan announced that they will stage the first ever "D23 Expo Japan", a special event created by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. This event will feature various presentations, including (as revealed on Disney Japan's website) a Kingdom Hearts presentation known as "Kingdom Hearts Fun Event". The producer of the series, Shinji Hashimoto, will be attending, as well as many Japanese voice actors from the series. The event is said to contain a lot of content, and reveal behind-the-scenes exclusive information. Look forward to D23 Expo Japan, which occurs from October 12 to 14, 2013! Update 1: A blog post on Message from the KINGDOM has revealed that in addition to Shinji Hashimoto and various voice actors, director of the Kingdom Hearts series Tetsuya Nomura will also be attending D23 Expo.

Update 2: Disney Japan have announced that special Kingdom Hearts figurines will be auctioned off at the event. The figurine was used as a character modelling reference during the development of the first Kingdom Hearts. A photo of this figurine can be seen below.

Update 3: Miyu Irino (voice of Sora & Vanitas), Mamoru Miyano (voice of Riku) and Kouki Uchiyama (voice of Roxas & Ventus) will all be attending the event. Thanks to @aibo_ac7 for the tip.

This sounds a lot like the Tales Of festival that Namco Bandai holds every year. Looking forward to this

well thats cool that they have a cool expo in Japan, will probably never happen anywhere else but I doesn't matter lol still cool but that is a long ways away lol

With no doubt I'm sure some more info about Kingdom Hearts 3 will be there. Also I'm thinking since TGS happen before this event, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be announced at TGS and some additional info about this game will be announced at D23.

I'm thinking it would be a news or trailers of KH 2.5 and 3 eventually.Who knows what Square Enix and Nomura was up too,they love making surprise in my opinion...

I doubt KH3 that game was announced to early. I think we would at least see something in 2014.

Probably about 2.5 if it won't announced at the tokyo game expo.

One can only hope that information over 2.5 or Kingdom Hearts 3 will be unveiled, as with the Tokyo Game Show. (But, since Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced too early, I imagine the only thing he might reveal are concept art sketches and such things as enemy designs.)

Didn't Nomura confirm that KH3 will be at TGS 2013 and Disney D23 Expo?
