It has been a long but was it possible to fight against Aerith and co in the colosseum in KH 1?
Not Aerith. Yuffie, Cloud and Squall would fight you but not Aerith.
I know because I was introduced to Final Fantasy through Kingdom Hearts, and I was surprised when I found out Aerith and Cid could actually fight.

Exactly! That's what confused me! I mean you don't need to mention the inclusions of the NPCs if we all know they will already be there.

Wait, that last note confused me:
"Also, the inclusion of Aerith, Leon, various Disney Characters and their stages etc. has been revealed."
What do they mean on this???
it means they will be in the game

Next remastered title? Can you say 2.5 HD Remix?
This is surprising? Nomura already said (in his own way) that we're going to get 2.5 sooner or later (probably early '14).

Well if you think about they already have the voices for the English,so it would be a waste not to.
Then again, I don't think Kingdom Hearts was surround sound equipped. They would have to do re-voicing.

I see, thanks.
So that does not mean that we can fight them now, I guess?
