HD 1.5 ReMIX to release on March 14, 2013 in Japan, official website redesigned, screenshots & KH for PC Browsers code included

DChiuch

Square Enix have updated the official website for Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX-. Most importantly, this updates reveals that the game will be released in Japan on March 14, 2013. The website also contains information about each game included in the collection, which we will detail for you below.

Update 1: Square Enix have created a pre-order page for HD 1.5 ReMIX on the Square Enix e-STORE. This page reveals that for a limited time, pre-ordering the game will provide a serial code that can be used in Kingdom Hearts for PC Browsers.

Update 2: Amazon.co.jp have also created a pre-order page for HD 1.5 ReMIX, currently offerring 15% off, and including the Kingdom Hearts for PC Browsers code. Unfortunately, Amazon will not ship this item outside of Japan. They did, however, provide some screenshots-- while these are not new, it is the first time that we've seen them without a watermark.

Official website for Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX-

The website is currently broken into 4 sections, Top, KH1.5, KHFM, KHRe:CoM and KHDays, with an additional 2 sections "coming soon". Top contains the release date, a general summary of the package (HD remasters of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and a Theatre Mode of HD remade Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days cutscenes), and links to all other sections on the website.

Hovering over each game on Top makes the image at the top of the page change to that game's cover artwork. Interestingly, if no game is hovered on top of, there is a 4th piece of artwork shown. Could this be the game's cover art? (The images below are ordered HD 1.5 ReMIX, KHFM, Re:CoM, KHDays.)

Update 3: We have discovered that the identity of the remaining two "coming soon" buttons are "Movies" and "Download". For proof, you can click either of these links and be shown the image for that button. Unfortunately, we don't have any other information at this time.

goldpanner has begun translating the website, and her translation of the website's front page can be seen below.

So then, if it has a similar localization time to KH3D, we'd probably be getting it in July. Looks like I know when to buy a PS3.

edit: whoops, forget to be hyped as heck

That's great news, but still no word on an American or Europe release. Come on Japan share your Kingdom Hearts mixs with your good friends.

For those interested in purchasing it from Japan.

Japanese YEN: 6,980

Australian Dollars: $79.57

US Dollars: $83.15

Those are what they convert to currently and you can suspect roughly the same when it comes out.

i think i will probably import KH 1.5 HD ReMIX whether it gets a worldwide release date or not, i don't understand a single word of Japanese  but i know KH well enough to navigate through it, i mean, the worst thing that could happen from me not understanding the language is i will have trouble telling what abilities i have and earn, telling what items i have and get, and telling what i am synthesizing, but i figure that once i know what an item is i can imprint in my brain what the name is so that i can identify everything, and with abilities i can probably find a way to translate them, same with synthesis, basically, even though i won't be able to understand anything that will be said or written in the menu's, i am totally willing to pay $85-ish to play Kingdom Hearts 1 FM and Kingdom Hearts Re Chain of Memories in HD, even though without being able to understand anything, its basically just the gameplay, BUT ITS Kingdom Hearts GAMEPLAY, ON THE PS3, IN HD, WORTH IT  :)  :)  :)

Awesome news. Now if they would just announce localization for the west, I would FREAK OUT. Good news: if it's getting localized, it should be announced very soon (fingers crossed for this weekend at Jump Festa). Bad news: this gives about 3 months for the announcement, which isn't a SUPER large amount of time. Good thing PS3 isnt region locked, so I can always import as a last resort :)

Somehow, I knew that the HD collection would be released in March. They almost always release it on that month xD

It must be a good time for video game sales in Japan.
