Kingdom Hearts 3D03 May 2012 by DChiuch
Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania, the official guidebook for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], released earlier this week in Japan. Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania is said to contain a lot of information and secrets about both Kingdom Hearts 3D and the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. We will keep updating this post with more information about the book as it appears.
Keckv from Imgur has uploaded various pages from the Ultimania containing concept art for Kingdom Hearts 3D. This is the first time we've seen such artwork, so it's definitely worth having a look! You can see these images below, thanks to Master Xehanort1960 from KH13 for the find.

Just have Mickey explain why he did what he did in the third game. I'd rather not wait another year just to play another prequel.
It's time to roll out KH3. We've waited enough. I wan't another console Kingdom hearts.

Why do people want BBSv2?

Agree with you on Mickey, not as interested there. But I want to know what Aqua did in the realm of darkness, don't you? Especially with her seeing the castle of dreams there and all that. That's what I want to see, what happened there. How did Axel and Lea actually get accepted into the castle, what happened in Radiant Garden that awoke Xehanort's memories. This is definitely worth seeing as a game or movie, one of the two.

For that matter, I want to know why Terra-Xehanort stole Ansem's name and why it seems like having Eraqus' heart didn't do crap for Terra.

I see your point, I'm just getting tired of these diversions and would like the series to end on a high note instead of being strung along for even longer.
That and I'm tired of shelving out money to buy a new handheld console each time, they're getting very expensive.

Nomura has already said that they can't make KHIII while they don't finish Final Fantasy Versus XIII because it's the "Kingdom Hearts team" who will make KHIII, and they are busy with FFvs.XIII. Besides, if KHIII will finish the Xehanort Saga, then it makes no sense to release it AFTER KHIII, since it could very likely introduce new characters or plot points that could conflict with KHIII.Why do people want BBSv2?

In example, Aqua meets someone else in the Realm of Darkness, and this person has not appeared in any other game before, not even KHIII. Since KHIII is going to be about saving those who are in pain, then it would be pointless to make a whole game about saving people and not saving that person. Whatever the new game may be, I'm sure it's not KHIII. Not yet.
When is the interview going to be translated? Do you guys already have the whole interview?

Or they could just not ever create a new character and we can just have Mickey explain what happened with Aqua and him in the realm of darkness with a five minute cutscene.

The thing is, Nomura already confirmed the story exists, so I can't see him neglecting to tell it in a game, and you can't have a game with just two characters. Well, actually you can, but it wouldn't work for KH.Or they could just not ever create a new character and we can just have Mickey explain what happened with Aqua and him in the realm of darkness with a five minute cutscene.
And why would they do that? Final Fantasy is more popular than Kingdom Hearts, so they will priorize that.oh my god, yes. I wish they would just put aside Vs.13 and work on KH3. And honestly I do not and I will not buy a ps vita just to play KH (just a guess, but you know it would happen).

I said I "I wish", meaning it's extremely unlikely to happen, I just hope want it to, even though it most likely never would.

SO when do you think the final mix will come out? KH 3D Dream Drop Distance is a main game like KH, KH2 and BBS so that means final mix. I predict maybe December 2013-February 2013.

Earlier today I thought "Don't tell me Xehanort tricked Hayner and Seifer's groups", but now I think that it could be some Final Fantasy characters finally getting more focus, or another Reno/Axel situation. There's also the possibility of other Square charcters making it into Kingdom Hearts, since we now have TWEWY.Familiar faces at Where Nothing Gathers.
Not if Versus XIII is not finished and another team is making the game. That must be KHIII
I suppose something happened and only one of them would be able to get out and Aqua said Mickey was more important.I'd like a BbS Vol. 2 'cause I want an explanation about how the heck Mickey went to the RoD, got Kingdom Key D, went out and left poor Aqua there! Shame on you "Your Majesty"!
Or maybe they never met.
It's also possible that Aqua has a reason to stay there, like searching for something. Maybe she met another Keyblade wielder there? A girl named Yami?
Either way, the mystery game may be one of the two stories that Nomura mentioned in Director's Secret Report XIII, which are "the period of the King's absence" and "the period of Riku's absence". Whatever happened in these stories may have some connection to KHIII. Besides, unless there's something in 3D that I still didn't find a link to, we have yet to see the results of DiZ's research.

Well the BBSv2 trailer did show that Aqua encountered atleast one world engulfed in darkness. Maybe there was something else in those worlds too. No idea what Mickey was doing when he went to the Dark Realm and left again. "The period of Riku's absence", wasn't that revealed in Days that he was doing stuff on DiZ's orders and trying to convince Xion to help Sora?

Well, that's what happened between Chain of Memories and KHII, but there's still the period he was absent during KHII, and he left DiZ after he ordered him to destroy Naminé (this scene is only present in the Final Mix). Also, we still have no explanation as to how the Soul Eater became the Way to the Dawn, maybe there's a story in this.Well the BBSv2 trailer did show that Aqua encountered atleast one world engulfed in darkness. We still don't know if it's in fact KHIII. Nomura said KHIII will be made by the "Kingdom Hearts team", and they are busy with Versus-XIII. I think there's something else being made, and the only options we know are Riku's absence, the King's absence (which seems to be BBSv2), and the Keyblade War. The first one could be the story told on Days or something parallel to KHII, the last one needs all possible knowledge in hi-spec hardware and needs to be told in episodes (and I think it could take some years until we see this game), and while Nomura said BBSv2 was not in production, he could just be hiding information.Kind of disappointing that BBS volume 2 isn't under development but KH3 is probably being worked on.
There's also the posibility of there NOT being a Final Mix. The chances are low given the precedents, but they could also release a Final Mix patch. With this, they could finally achieve an international release for a Final Mix.SO when do you think the final mix will come out? KH 3D Dream Drop Distance is a main game like KH, KH2 and BBS so that means final mix. I predict maybe December 2013-February 2013.

The PSP had the ability to use dlc as well and BbSFM didn't take that route.I don't think there will be a Final Mix for 3D because the 3DS is capable of DLC. Can't wait for 3D to come stateside!
