To celebrate Halloween this year, Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura has surprisingly shared a new illustration on social media.
This latest artwork depicts Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their Halloween Town attire within that world, with Sora wielding what appears to be a new Keyblade. Keen-eyed viewers may spot an easter egg or two, such as a Lucky Emblem being placed on the far right.

Ahead of the upcoming Piano Fantasies - Music from Square Enix concert, the Square Enix Music Channel has shared a piano arrangement of Edge of Existence, the battle theme for Scala ad Caelum in Kingdom Hearts III. You can view the full arrangement below, performed by Mischa Cheung. 
The rendition of Edge of Existence is also available on major music streaming platforms for listening as well.

The Piano Fantasies - music from Square Enix concert is set to take place on October 31, in Tokyo, Japan, and is set to feature music from across various Square Enix franchises. From the Kingdom Hearts series, in addition to Edge of Existence, Dearly Beloved, and The Afternoon Streets are also confirmed to be featured.

Premium Bandai has recently revealed a Kingdom Hearts Keyblade is now available for pre-order exclusively in Japan from now until December 1st, 2025. The item is set to release sometime in March 2026 for ¥9.900 (approximately $66.59 USD). Unfortunately, this item seems to be exclusive to the territory, with no international shipping available. In fact, the item page itself requires a Japanese VPN to be viewed.
According to the product's official page, the Keyblade is about 50 cm (19.69 in) long, and it can play both DEARLY BELOVED and Sora. Furthermore, it includes an LED lighting mode called Magic Mode, where you can cycle through different colors and intensities, each corresponding to a magic spell: Red for Fire, Blue for Blizzard, yellow for Thunder, green for Cure, and so on, complete with sound effects of the spells. It even includes sound effects for the saving, opening and closing doors, and the item obtained sound effect.

The Square Enix Japan e-Store has revealed a Kingdom Hearts Light Up Mage's Staff now available for pre-order based on the signature weapon Donald Duck wields throughout the series. The item is set to release January 24, 2026 for ¥9.900 (approximately $66.59 USD). For fans outside of Japan looking to purchase, the item is also available through Aitai Kuji.

David Gallagher, the voice behind Kingdom Hearts' Riku, has been streaming on Twitch for some time now, and just yesterday at the time of writing, has just completed his journey of playing through Kingdom Hearts for the first time!
Starting on July 17th, the playthrough was streamed on Twitch, with the VOD's uploaded onto YouTube for everyone who missed the stream to see. David was noted to have enjoyed his time with the game, and intends to engage with the secret bosses, and other optional content before moving onto the next game.

A new set of official Kingdom Hearts Keyblade pins were revealed during Disney's 25 Years of Pin Trading event today, held at Walt Disney World. The event is meant to celebrate the tradition of official Disney Pin Trading by bringing the Disney Pin Trading community together. Additionally, an array of past Disney Pins, upcoming pins, and pins available for purchase at the event were on display. 
The Kingdom Hearts Keyblade pins will be exclusively available for purchase at both Disney Land and Walt Disney World parks in 2026. The pins will be released on a monthly basis, with 12 in total. There will be 1 pin releasing on a Tuesday each month of the year. 
The first 6 pins were revealed at the Disney 25 Years of Pin Trading event today. It is not yet known when the later 6 pins in the set will be revealed. You can view the pins on a display at the event in our gallery below.

Funko Pop! has unveiled four new Kingdom Hearts figures, Xehanort with Blade, Lingering Will, Roxas with Keyblades, and Xion with Keyblade, set to release October 20, 2025. The four new pops are available for pre-order at GameStop for $14.99 each.

This is the first acknowledgement of Kingdom Hearts IV since Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link's announced cancellation and the subsequent release of Kingdom Hearts IV screenshots following the announcement back in May.

Square Enix has announced the upcoming arrival of the "Piano Fantasies - music from SQUARE ENIX" concert performance for October 31, 2025. 
This concert will be held at the Daiichi Seimei Hall in Tokyo, featuring 12 arrangements by pianist Mischa Cheung. Various Square Enix franchises will be represented here, including Kingdom Hearts. 
The confirmed Kingdom Hearts tracks are "Dearly Beloved," The Afternoon Streets," and "Edge of Existence." Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana are the other IPs set to be featured. 
It's also worth noting that this piano concert will be released simultaneously on CD and vinyl, with pre-orders now available on Square Enix Japan's online store for ¥3,740 and ¥8,360, respectively. 
Lastly, a preview video of Cheung's piano-playing capabilities was posted, unveiling a portion of the "Edge of Existence" arrangement. 
 
Square Enix's blog recently interviewed composer Yoko Shimomura after she won a BAFTA Fellowship, the highest honor an arts organization can grant. 
Throughout the interview, Shimomura answered questions about the award, how she came to compose video game music, and her involvement with specific titles, including the Kingdom Hearts series.

Square Enix have released new Kingdom Hearts IV screenshots following the cancellation of Kingdom Hearts Missing- Link. These show Sora in Quadratum fighting Heartless, Strelitzia, a playable King Mickey segment, Sora in a parking lot,  and a Darkside Heartless. It's worth noting that while the same screenshots were shared across both Japanese and Global social media handles, the Japanese collection of screenshots contains a slightly different variation of the top first image.You can view the screenshots in our gallery below.

In an announcement on both the Japanese and Global Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link official accounts on X, the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link development team has shared a message on the decision to cancel the development of the game.
