Square Enix has unveiled a new illustration celebrating the 24th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series. Drawn by Tetsuya Nomura, this artwork depicts Young Xehanort holding an umbrella, reminiscent of the artwork the character received in 2022 during the Dark Road Q&A.
A brief message accompanied this visual as well, thanking fans for their continued support and noting that the development team is working hard for the upcoming 25th anniversary.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from everyone at KH13! A couple of months ago we released a major upgrade to the site, and we are now officially announcing it.
We're now running the latest version of Invision Community, which comes with a lot of new features, a total revamp of the theme, and a lot of our content sections totally re-done. This update is the first major update since the last in 2018 and marks the 5th major redesign of KH13!

Some of the new features are:
- A modern layout for desktop & mobile
- Light & dark mode options selectable in the footer
- Progressive web app compatibility (being able to add KH13 to your home screen as an app on Android/iOS)
- Revamped forums and social features

We've also done a heap of work on our content pages, for example:
- We now have a comprehensive games database, listing each game in the Kingdom Hearts series
- Our cutscene archive has been recreated from scratch, with data thanks to the The Wayfinder Project
- Our characters, music, and worlds pages are back
- Each database links with every other database. This way, you can quickly find information you might need or are curious about. For example, go to the Xigbar page and it will list the games and cutscenes they appear in, and the reports that they've written
- These sections are a work in progress. If you'd like to help out with working on our databases, please send me a message
- Check out the links on the sidebar for more!

We hope you enjoy! Please let us know what you think.

Disney Japan has now officially begun selling Kingdom Hearts merchandise on its online store. A vast quantity of familiar items is available here, ranging from sticker sets and keychains to music boxes and plushes. Interestingly, this lineup features a selection previously available on Square Enix Japan's online store.
However, it's worth noting that, despite opening just a few days ago, several of these items are already sold out. It remains to be seen if the stock was simply low and whether restocks are in question.
For those unaware, Kingdom Hearts merchandise has been disappearing from Square Enix's online catalog, at least in the West. This is not yet the case for Square Enix Japan's online store, though.
SuperGroupies has announced a new Kingdom Hearts collaboration with Disney and Square Enix, comprising two sets of items themed after Sora and Roxas.
This latest collaboration features outerwear, tote bags, and bag charms of both characters. Pre-orders are now live from the retailer's Japanese website, with the window closing on January 5, 2026. Additionally, shipments are planned for early June 2026.
Pricing-wise, the outerwear costs ¥33,000 each, the tote bags cost ¥20,900 each, and the bag charms cost ¥4,950 each. Further, the outerwear line is being sold in small, medium, large, XL, and XXL sizes.

To celebrate Halloween this year, Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura has surprisingly shared a new illustration on social media.
This latest artwork depicts Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their Halloween Town attire within that world, with Sora wielding what appears to be a new Keyblade. Keen-eyed viewers may spot an easter egg or two, such as a Lucky Emblem being placed on the far right.
