coded story line?

So far all I've got is that it has Mickey going through a digitalized version of Jiminy's journal to figure out the meaning of a message he finds written in it. I think it was something like "We must free them from their torment."

 

...And that's all I know.

You know I've been wondering that myself the story and information about it seem to be fairly non-existent, although after watching videos and the trailer it seems that Mickey is using a digitised version of information from Jiminy's journal, my guess is Sora's memories might still have a few issues and the torment is his and others conected to him

Takes place after KHII, yes, it's an opening for KHIII, such as CoM was for II. It's stated that it will link to Days and BBS in ways.

 

It starts off with Jiminy organizing his journals, and seeing a line that he'd never written. "We must return to free them from their torment." No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember where that'd come from or what that might mean, so he went to tell the King.

Mickey then decides to turn the journals into data and seek the answer from within.

 

The Sora inside is a data Sora with no memories of the past adventures with Sora and company in the last games. He must go through and solve the mystery of the data bugs.

Nomura points out around here that this wont be like CoM, and because of the data bugs the story line will be completely different, and will also say where Mickey was during the games and what Riku was doing.

Nomura has also confirmed that events in the real world will be spoken of as well.

 

Now, screw all of that. The interesting part comes from part of a trailer impression-

Sora has an exchange with an Organization XIII member wearing a black hood in Traverse Town.

Sora: "What! You!"

Organization Member: "Show me your power."

And this pic-

An unknown organization member appears to have hacked into the journals, and from the little appearance we see of him from the one scan, it actually looks like it could be Roxas running around challening data Sora to random battles.

 

I actually have a thread about it from way back when, lol.

With Coded linking to BbS/Days and all, do you think maybe the cloaked figure is or has something to do with Ven? I mean, the cloaked figure looks like Roxas, who is identical to Ven. There are obvious problems with both Zexion (he's dead) and Roxas (part of Sora), so I think this is the best possibility.

That's what I've always thought--Ventus or Roxas, especially since right now the connection between Sora/Roxas and Ven is pointing to some sort of memory thing--if their connection DOES have something to do with memories, then wouldn't it make perfect sense for Ven to be able to go into Sora's memories?

I had mentioned that Ven could be possible for the cloaked member once to a friend, but they beat me down saying that it made no sense that Ven was wearing a cloak, of all people. I'm still working on that part... ;

Even though I'm least excited about Coded, I'm still very interested in it. Although it sounds like a really bad fanfiction, due to the fact that very little is known, people are more interested in it. It'll also be cool (if it comes to NA) to see what Mickey was doing while we spent a good chunk of our lives looking for him

i think the cloaked figure COULD be connected to Ventus (since it is connected to BBS)

and ummm i think Xemnas has Aqua in that prison thingy seen in KH2FM

and Xemnas is DEFINTANTLY Terra *in some shape or form*

and then theres Master Xehanort*not likely at ALL* Dark-armorheaded-knight guy, and Ventus (who MIGHT be dead or worse)

 

so yeah..........i dunno about that guy.................

..but why would ventus wear an org cloak O_o

Its been awhile now though, nomura would have already released some (if atleast) 1 episode to NA.

I've just completed reading through the summaries on http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/ to get the hang of Coded's storyline.

I did so because it was said that the 7th episode was released on 26th December and that it was the final one.

 

So I went ahead and read them, but to be honest.. It didn't really sound like a significant story or something, neither like a story which puts up KHIII or one that's gonna be linked to Days and BBS respectively.

 

So what's coded's point? Are these summaries on KH Wiki simply wrong or is there gonna be another Episode? The 7th episode's end seems kinda uncomplete to me.
