Yeah,all of them,when I watched birth by sleep I noticed that any of them are guilty of anything that happens in to them or in the KH series.

Aqua is the most likely, considering the plot seems to probably be about
rescuing her and Ansem from the dark realm

Go watch the BBS Secret Ending, which takes place a year after KH2. Ansem is alive. He is with Aqua in the Dark Realm.
