heartless101 83 Posted November 25, 2010 Just one more day guys, until the big day: Thanksgiving. I can't wait for the huge meal. I'm going to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving. So... where are you guys going for Thanksgiving? Are you staying at your own house and celebrate it there, are you going to your aunt's or grandma's house? Also, what are you looking forward to the meal of Thanksgiving? I'm looking forward to the turkey, the pumpkin pie, and the mashed potatoes ^^

Zexion's_Lover_46 76 Posted November 25, 2010 To be honest I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I don't see any point in celebrating the death of a poor Turkey(yes I am a vegetarian). I know that there is more to Thanksgiving then just eating a turkey and stuffing your face full of food but it's just not the type of holiday I like. I still want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to you all though. So Happy Thanksgiving
Ivan 969 Posted November 26, 2010 My Thanksgiving went by well, surprisingly. All my uncles, uncles' girlfriends, and grandmother from my dad's side of the family came over. This was the first time in years that I saw my uncles and was actually able to talk to them. I was a bit ticked off when they called me Mickey. Old nickname, I hate it now <_<. But yeah, one of my uncles now has a girlfriend (it's taken him, like, thirty years), and she was nice ^^. And my other uncle is still dating the girlfriend he's been dating for the past... seven years. I don't think they're planning on getting married. I made a chocolate cake from scratch, and I also made the frosting. It was yummyyy. Bleh, my mom cooked the turkey this year, so it was dry B|. I just hope there is left over biscuits and garlic bread.
Protoman 1,974 Posted November 26, 2010 It could have been worse I guess... I just sorta miss the people who I don't get to see as often though I never have thanksgiving with my moms side of the family. I'm really missing my Uncle Eric. The food was ok, but I only ate some rolls, the turkey and a bowl of chicken soup. It just felt a little empty, especially with the greyish clouds that rolled by and the lack of noise. The only children that were there was my cousin whos 15, my sister whos 13, and me. My brother went to his girlfriend's for the day. 2 of my Aunts and uncles were there, but it wasn't that interesting because they didn't exactly ask as much. Most likely because I sort of came off like I was tierd. Of course we had to drive about two and a half hours up to my grandmother's and grandfather's house in the mountains and we ate up there. It didn't seem nearly as good as the other time but I do prefer the turkey they had this year over last year. Overall it was ok, but just seemed to lose its main purpose although we did say grace and talk about things we had been thankful for. Of course I was bashful and said something that wasn't exactly close to what I was really thinking. Oh well, I'm the child anyways so it didn't mean much. After the main meal we had desert, which for me had been a slice of cheesecake that wasn't exactly the best and sort of empty as well. Durring my whole time there I had been simply wandering around the house. I had to learn all the bad news and I cried, simply because the neighbors cat died and the children don't even know it yet. It sorta just dampered my mood a bit. Thats just what happened.

heartless101 83 Posted November 26, 2010 I had a real feast for the Thanksgiving meal. For lunch, I had turkey, ramen cabbage salad, mashed potatoes, sushi, and punpkin pie. For dinner, I had a leg of lamb, some fried rice, mashed potatoes, a slice of chocolote cake a little bit of apple tart. I had fun with my relatives for both lunch and dinner. I went to my aunt's house on my dad's side of the family for lunch. There was about 40 people there and for dinner, I went to my uncle's house on my mom's side of the family for dinner. There were 10 people there
