Chapter 1: Confrontation

The next day, Lea and Isa meet at the exact same spot where they conversed the night before. The two scout out the castle they spotted. They spot two guards, standing by the castle gates. "Those guys look pretty tough", whispers Lea to Isa, "but we can take them." Before Isa gets to respond, Lea shakes him and points towards the gate. A blonde-haired boy is attempting to get in. "He's not going to get in", laughs Lea. The boy is stopped by the guards, and then turned away. "What'd I tell you Isa? You know what, lets follow this kid. There is something about him that makes me want to be friends with him." Lea runs off towards Ven, as Isa sighs and follows along.

By the time Lea and Isa catch up to the boy, they see him swinging around a wooden Keyblade. The boy drops it accidentally in front of Lea, and Lea bends down to pick up. "A little too old to be playing with children's toys, aren't we? Haha, what a baby". Lea tosses the boy his wooden weapon. "My weapons are way better than yours." Lea throws his arms out to his sides, and summons two frisbees. "I'm Lea. Got it memorized? How about you and me fight?". The boy grins and says, "My name is Ven, and sure." Lea smirks. "Get ready to lose kid!". Both of them run at each other, ready to clash........

Lea falls onto the ground, defeated. "You're good, Ven. I didn't think you would beat me. You're lucky I wasn't feeling good today. Isa! Help me in on this." Isa leans against a wall, shaking his head and laughing. "Isa, you're my best friend! You're supposed to make excuses for me! I should have Ven over here as my best friend instead." All three of the boys break out in laughter. After a few exchanges of goodbyes, Ven heads off. Lea and Isa head back towards the castle square, ready to plan. They sit down and eat some Sea-Salt ice cream, observing the castle guards every movement. They are interrupted by a man walking by, limping and clutching his bleeding face. Lea calls out to him, "Hey man, gonna tell us what happened?". The man doesn't even look back at Lea, he continues limping towards the castle gates, but he does reply in an angry tone, "As if." Lea and Isa shrug at each other, and finish off their ice cream. Tomorrow is going to be a big day.

This is really good. I like the fact that you used some parts from the actual game, and included Braig in there. Nice. ^~^

Nice job. ^_^ I like how you included Braig xD

Chapter 2: Infiltration

The next morning, Lea and Isa meet in the square, bright and early. They peer over at the castle, expecting to see guards standing at the gates. There is nobody near them. Lea gives a victory shout, and drags Isa along with him to the castle gates. After a short dash, both of them finally make it. The gates seem tall enough to cut through the sky. There is no visible doornob, so Lea pushes the left gate door open. Both him and Isa slip in, and Lea quietly closes the gate behind him. They find themselves in a courtyard, and then they spot the main castle doors. Putting his fingers to his lips, Lea ushers Isa behind him to the doors.

Once they make it, Lea pulls on the castle door knobs slowly and quietly, making sure not to disturb anyone inside the premises. He failed. A loud alarm sounds throughout the castle as soon as he opens the doors. Footsteps can be heard, shouts can be heard. Lea and Isa look at each other in shock. The two castle guards appear in front of them, and frown at them menacingly. "What are you trying to do? Break into this castle?", the guard with red hair says. Lea tries to talk, but the guard punches him in the face. Isa just watches his friend fall to the ground. The other guard picks up Lea, and stands him to his feet. "You kids better get out of here now", he snarls. Lea, face bloodied, shakes his head in defiance. In a swift movement, the guard with red hair grabs Lea by his collar, and the other guard grabs Isa. They drag both of them across the castle courtyard, and they toss them out of the gates. "Good job Aeleus", says the guard with black hair. "Lets get back inside Dilan", says the guard with red hair. The guards walk inside the boundaries of the gates, and close them, leaving both Lea and Isa on the outside pavement.

Lea grimaces in pain as he tries to help himself up. "Why didn't you help me back there?", he mutters to Isa. "Your plan was not well thought out. I did not feel like getting slugged in my face because of your lack of thought", Isa retorts. Lea stands to his feet, with an expression of pure anger on his face. "We're supposed to be friends. No matter what. Even if my plan was going to fail, you should've had my back. We need to watch each others backs if we are going to be the kings of Radiant Garden." Isa just stares at Lea. "Stop living in a fantasy Lea. We aren't going to be kings, and we aren't going to bring our friends back. I don't care how much you and Arlene wanted to travel the worlds. She's gone, away from this hellhole. And we were supposed to travel with them. But you wanted to stay here, and live a false dream. I'm done with dreaming Lea. I'm done." Rain starts to pore. "So that's how it's going to be huh Isa. After all we've been through. You're leaving." The rain begins to pore harder. Isa turns and walks away, never to turn back around. Lea stands and stares at the ground where Isa was standing, as the rain falls. "He seriously left." A dark aura begins to engulf Axel. His whole body becomes covered in darkness, and his heart begins to exit his chest. Before it exits completely, Lea says one last thing. "He's gonna burn for that." Then, his heart exits his body.

Nice job man ^^ I liked how you included Arlene in this xD

Chapter 3: Nobody

Isa, after his confrontation with Lea, finds himself sitting on a curb, holding his face in his hands. This is all a dream. It has to be. Pictures of a girl with blonde hair, a boy with a blonde mullet, and a boy with pink hair flash in his head. "It's a dream", he mutters over and over again. Emotional pain begins to surge through his body. Tears fall from his eyes, down to his cheeks, down to the cold concrete. The cold night wind is silent. Isa starts to scream in rage. "It's just a dream! It has to be. They aren't gone, they aren't!". He looks up towards the moon, hoping for an answer. The full moon sits, still and quiet. "Kingdom Hearts can solve this", Isa breathes. He reaches his arms towards the moon, trying to grasp the power that is holds. All of a sudden, a flash of light, and Isa is in front of a huge , white door. An ominous voice speaks, loud and clear, to him. "Isa..you want to rescue you friends from the darkness. You want the power to save everyone you love." Isa kneels to the ground in front of the door. "Yes, I want to save them! Please, give me the power to!". The door in front of Isa begins to open slowly. Isa looks up in anticipation, waiting for power to just flow through his body.

The door opens fully, and three bodies are found on the ground opposite of the doorway. As soon as Isa sees these bodies, he yells a yell no human could muster. Darkness swerves around his body. The voice says, "Yes, Isa. Darkness is the way out. Darkness is the only way to save your friends." Isa gets to his feet, darkness still covering him, and attempts to run to the bodies on the other side of the doorway. But before he reaches it, the door closes, and he slams into it. "NOOOO! LET ME IN. LET ME IN!". Isa bangs on the doors with all of his might. "You are still full of light. You cannot pass through this door." Isa slumps to the ground, and grasps his head. The darkness that surrounded him earlier completely consumes him, and he falls into a void of blackness...

Ten years later

12 people in a white room are conversing. There are several chairs in the room, each one marked with a Roman Numeral. The chairs have different heights, depending on the number that is marked on the chair. The person sitting in the "Number XII" seat is talking."Pitiful Heartless, mindlessly collecting hearts. And yet, they know not the power they hold. The rage of the keyblade releases those hearts. They gather in darkness, masterless and free. Until they weave together to make Kingdom Hearts. And when that time comes, we can truly, finally exist."

Chapter 4: Loose Ends

9 years previous

An empty Lea finds himself laying face down in a grass field. All emotions have been drained from him. He lifts his body up from the ground, not sure what to do or where to go. He just stands in the middle of the field, an empty man. Suddenly, a portal of darkness opens, and a man in a black cloak and silver hair that falls in spikes exits it. Lea stares at the man approaching him with empty eyes. The man finally reaches Lea, and he cracks a smile. An emotionless smile. "Hello. I am Xemnas, leader of Organization XIII. I see you have lost your heart to the darkness. How about you join our quest hearts? We are all beings of nothing, unable to live a satisfying life due to our lack of hearts. Our ultimate goal, is to open Kingdom Hearts, and get what belongs to us." Lea tries to speak, but he finds it hard to. Xemnas seemed familiar to him. "I-I-I-want to join." Xemnas' fake smile appears on his face again. "Good." His amber eyes peer into Lea's light green eyes, as if he is reading Lea's mind. "You quest for your friends. Your quest has ended Lea, for your friends are near." Lea tries to feel the emotion of happiness, but he feels nothing. Nothing at all. The news of his friends normally would have made him want to jump to the sky. "But before we can rescue them, you must come with me."

Xemnas hands Lea a black coat. "Put this on, to represent your allegiance. You will now be known as Axel, Flurry of Dancing Flames." As soon as Axel puts on the coat, he feels a rush of power flow through him. All of a sudden, flames start to engulf his hands. Axel begins to panic, thinking that his hands were going to be scorched. But he feels nothing. A few seconds later, the flames that engulfed his hands are replaced by two chakrams. Axel twirls them in his hands, studying them. "Well, at least these are better than my frisbees." He cracks a smile. Xemnas nods, and turns to re-open the portal he had previous came from. "Come, Axel." Xemnas walks into the portal slowly, and Axel follows.

After about 30 minutes of walking in complete darkness, Axel finds himself on a beach. A boy with long blue hair and yellow eyes is sitting on a rock, staring at him. "Lea...", the boy whispers. Axel takes a long glance at the boy, and replies back. "Isa." A few seconds of silence hits, only to be interrupted by a cry of pain. Axel leaps in front of Isa, and slashes his face with his left chakram. Isa falls to the sand, grasping his face in pain, and screaming. Axel starts to yell. "It's because of you we're in this predicament! Why the hell did you leave?! We could of avoided this! We could've kept our hearts!". Isa uncovers his face, revealing an X-shaped scar on it. "Don't you see. Our friends are already safe. There is no need for our plans anymore. Those were from our childhood, nothing more." Axel just gazes at Isa. Xemnas finally steps in and interrupts their reunion. "I see you have met Saix previous to this, Axel." Axel drops his head. "Yes. Yes I have. We used...to be friends." Xemnas sticks his hands out to his side. A portal of darkness opens, and three people walk onto the beach from it, each of them wearing a black coat. One is a girl, with long blonde hair, and two "antennas" of hair sticking out in front of her face. The second person is a man with a blonde mullet, with two bangs. The third is a man with long, pink hair. Xemnas turns back to Axel and Saix. "I'd like you to meet Larxene, Demyx, and Marluxia." Saix gets up from the ground and stares at the three figures. "I guess the gang is back together", Axel says.

11 years later

Axel is walking along the halls of Castle Oblivion, twirling his chakrams in his hands. "Where am I supposed to find this stupid Chamber of Waking anyways? This sucks." He stops walking, and sits down against one of the castle walls. "I wish Marluxia and Larxene would have found this stupid room before they went and got themselves killed. Traitors." Axel sighs, and places his head against the wall. All of a sudden, he sees someone in an Organization cloak appear down the hall. At first, he figured it was Xemnas. But this guy was carrying two blue Ethreal Blades. "Who the hell is that?", Axel whispers. The man opens the door he is in front of, and Axel catches a glimpse of his face. "What the hell?!", Axel says. Was that....Ventus?

Okay guys, that was the last chapter in this story. I am going to write a much, much longer story, directly following the events of KH2, and it's going to relate to this story, as well as my other story "Mystery".

Um, when you make Saix's quote, you said XI when it should be VII, also, when you started of the part when they are going to infiltrate the castle, you said bright and only when I believe you meant bright and early.

Other than that it is a really great story.

Ahh. Thanks for pointing those things out ^^
