Can someone explain please? In the secret ending of kh2 and kh2fm, Ventus is left handed. But in all the recent pics and trailers of bbs, Ventus is right handed. I thought that was weird and I'm hoping Nomura didn't make a mistake.

Why do you think there is a switch? 2 members have voted

They properly just changed...

they might had messed up then changed it who knows

Im guessing its an oversight, or he's ambidextrous

Holy firetruck, Ven's ambidextrous!

Like everyone else said, it's probably just a mistake.

Does it even matter though? The world's not going to end just because of a tiny little mistake. I probably wouldn't even have noticed that if you didn't point it out.

its probably just a mistake

Why does everybody say that's its a mistake?

It's not a mistake that they switched what hand he wields his Keyblade with...

Well, that was just a concept video, so they probably decided to change it. Either that, or Ven is secretly ambidextrous.

For some reason unknown they changed it (maybe it was too hard to animate him as a lefthander).

P.S. heartless101 awesome sig.

Well, speaking from an actual fighting perspective, if Ventus were in real life taught to wield the Keyblade backwards, he would probably be ambidextrous, to taught to use the Keyblade with his left hand to combat the lack of versatility the style has. Whats more Keybladers have never show any lack of cognition with the opposite hand, Sora and Roxas constantly dual wield. What's even more, Roxas and Sora both wield the keyblade two-handed, which would lead to them having similar strength in both arms.

From a story perspective, it was probably changed when Ventus was decided on having a connection to Sora, since Sora is right handed. The most obscure reason I can think of is that in latin, left handed is synonymous with evil or being sinister.

His unique dagger wielding style would actually point towards him having a reverse grip, not being ambidextrous. Interesting info about the left hand though. Didn't know that ^^

Well it comes down to if he learnt to wield the keyblade backwards, or if he did it naturally.

Well perhaps because they were regular keyblades, and Ven picked them up regularly, but Ven's original keyblade (Fresh Breeze) is also known to be called a "Wing blade" because it resembles somewhat of a bird's wing, right? And its handle is crafted so that it must be held in a backwards motion. But for the secret ending to kh2......I say its a mistake. -.-'
