#1968370 [UPDATED] [RUMOR] Screenshots of a possible Monsters, Inc. world for Kingdom...

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 16 December 2017 - 07:01 AM

I don't freaking care about the world, there's Unversed in these pictures! Vanitas is back baby! YAAAS!

But on the topic of real or fake, I dunno, it looks pretty real to me. I mean, KH3 is still in development so what looks fake could very well be because of that simple fact. If it IS fake then... kudos to whoever made these because they are REALLY good.

#1965007 Nice to meet ya!

#1964903 Should Lauriam be the next Antagonist of the Saga after KH3?

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 22 October 2017 - 06:27 AM

Pretty sure that the Master of Masters is being constructed as the next main antagonist. Besides, we don't know how Lauriam differs from Marluxia so this is really jumping the gun.

I think it's safe to say that Lauriam and Marluxia don't differ that much. Considering what we've seen in Union X [Cross] Lauriam is still a prime suspect in the murder of Strelitizia... that sounded like something straight out of Law and Order.

Anyway, I don't think Nomura will make Lauriam a vessel in KH3 because YX has already told us in DDD that certain members (of old Org. 13) were too untrustworthy, a.k.a Marluxia. Not saying he won't show up, but I'm pretty sure he won't be a Xehanort goonie. That being said, if he is going to be our new main antagonist, with him having little relations (good ones anyway) with Xehanort, that'll keep the two separate and stop this whole every-villain-is-Xehanort concept I am so sick and tired of.

As for who the next big baddie will be, we still don't have much to go on with the Master of Masters, so he's still a little out-of-the-blue, but Lauriam seems to be growing into such a role. And I'm enjoying it! Since it's as you said, Finn and vigor, the Chi series is setting us up for what's to come after the 3rd numbered title, so why not Lauriam/Marluxia be the next main villain? He's got ties to Sora and the gang, he's got a history with Ventus and the other Union Leaders, so he's definitely not just gonna show up and everyone be like, "Who're you?" It's perfect placement; makes it flow nicely into a new beginning.

#1964808 What scares you the most?

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 20 October 2017 - 06:49 PM

It may sound odd, but darkness scares me.. :D that's when I turn off that last light in the house and immediately run to my room so it does not catch me D: :D

Also when I was younger, I was scared of red eyes appearing in the dark... that was horrible.... because I saw a 1 episode of Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction and it was about a demon or something possessing a woman and she always had red eyes. And also spiders :D

Oh, I think I remember that episode! I also saw something freaky like that too when taking my dogs out for a pee at night. See, I always shine my flashlight into the woods surrounding my house when it's pitch black out for the small chance I'll see some eyes staring back at me. Well... that night my dogs were barking at something over the fence, so I shined my flashlight at the direction they were barking... and a pair of red eyes appeared in the light staring right back at me...

I froze up, my heart was pumping, but I told myself to not run away and just calmly walk back into the house because I was brave. I just clicked off my flashlight, called my dogs back and walked into the house as if nothing ever happened. Then my body exploded with adrenaline and I locked the back door and closed all my window blinds before calming myself down again.

I have another story about hearing voices in the woods at night too, but that'll be for another time.

Anyway, can't really say nothing scares me because, during moments like the above, you do get terrified, but I let it go and don't let it bother me. So, I'd still have to go with nothing scares me, MWAHAHAHAHA!

#1964451 Vanitas' ppearance in DDD/current whereabouts theory

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 16 October 2017 - 07:17 AM

Alright, so I've searched the forums and haven't found anything like this, but I do apologize if it has been posted here before. I know the topic has come up before about why Vanitas was shown beside Young Xehanort in DDD as well as where he may be now, but I think I may have an idea/theory to answer this.

Ok, so we know from Nomura in one of his interviews he states that Vanitas showed up because it was Ventus' heart reacting inside of Sora. Now, I still see some confusion here from other fans, so I just want to clear one thing up. Sora did NOT see Vanitas, only Ventus did (and us as the audience, of course). What Sora saw and heard was YX saying, "Hypocrite, you are the one that has made your heart a prison... Even if you are not the prisoner." Ventus (from what we can gather) saw and heard the same thing but with Vanitas saying it instead. That is why after it was all said and done, Sora asks, "My heart's a prison?" instead of questioning why there was another boy standing beside YX that looked exactly like him. He didn't see Vanitas; he saw YX and that was it.

Now continuing from this, I think there could be a double meaning behind the line "Even if you are not the prisoner." YX said it to Sora and was talking about Ventus being the 'prisoner' inside his heart. But what if the same could be said about Vanitas? What if Vanitas said the same thing because it was also true that HE himself was also a prisoner inside of Ven's heart? Looking back at the end of BBS with the resolution of Ven and Vanitas' fight within their dive to the heart, Vanitas fell into his pillar. Now, I was with a lot of people in first taking that as a way of saying the two finally joined back together, but obviously that's not the case since Ventus went into a state of suspended animation like a Princess of Heart would when they lose their hearts. Meaning, his heart still only consists of light. Going off of this, could it be said that Vanitas fell into Ven's heart and got stuck there still as a separate entity and became his 'prisoner'?

If this is the case, then Vanitas is trapped inside of Ventus' heart which is trapped inside of Sora's heart. And this kind of matches up with what YX said from the newest trailer featuring the Toy Story world. YX states, "There is a darkness we are missing and must reclaim." Now, it's really just an opinion here, but I think he's talking about Vanitas-which is why I said it kind of matches up. If he is talking about Vanitas, then them [the seekers] trying to find clues as to how hearts connect... this could be why: If they want Vanitas, they'd first have to get Ventus out of Sora's heart and then get Vanitas out of Ventus' heart. That's some crazy heart extraction going on there.  xD

Anyway, that's pretty much all I have to offer. Let me know what you guys think.  <3

#1964394 Malicifent and Lauriam's appearances within Xchi are both connected

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 15 October 2017 - 06:36 AM

Well you have a point with Ventus but i mean lets be honest, if he was the one that got killed, how would he be alive for BBS? And yes it's obvious that Strelitzia didn't arrive at the Graveyard. (Sorry i should have been more clear) but what i meant was that since Strelitzia was "going" to be the last to arrive, that in itself made her the perfect target. along with the fact that no one knew her which would erase suspicions towards Lauriam (this does describe Ventus though too as he said "I was always a loner" so again, leading onto your argument). Yes your right that all the Keyblade weilders knew everyone back then but we don't have any proof that those wielders or even the Foretellers and Dandlion leaders knew about Brain and Lauriam's existences. Because like i said: they just Popped Out of Nowhere. We should also keep in mind that Brain and Lauriam didn't mention anything about they're relations as Keyblade wielders or even anything about their pasts, which could mean they are not even Keyblade wielders at all.
Lol but no your fine with your sarcasm. I understand your frustrations (cuz believe me, looking back at my past theories, i will admit that i can't even read them without cringing lol). But i appreciate these arguments. Because honestly, i do post some of these theories without fully thinking them out sometimes. Though to be fair, they are only "possibilities" and i like to point out those "possibilities" so that people can consider them. And if it turns out to have many flaws and contradictions then I'll discard them. The same can be said for this current theory lol.

This is why I love this community: we can joke around with each other, poke and prod at our ideas/theories and still leave together happy at the end of the day as friends.  :3  Also, to be fair, I was a bit tired yesterday after coming home from work (I sleep during the day and work/am up at night) so thank you for not taking my sarcasm seriously!

But no, what I was getting at there was not everyone knew everyone so Lauriam and Blaine/Brain popping up out of nowhere because no one talked about them isn't really solid proof of any kind. Now, yeah, the Foretellers would know who's all in their Unions, but those little details- like names and such-wouldn't be mentioned to us because it's not necessary. That's what I was getting at.

Truth be told, I do agree with you that those two may not be keyblade wielders, Lauriam I'm more suspicious of because of what we already know of him as Marluxia. If that is the case then this story will be getting even more interesting.  xD

#1964221 Should Braig end up becoming the True Final Boss of KH3?

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 12 October 2017 - 07:38 AM

Pretty much what everyone else is saying here. This IS the end to the Xehanort saga, wouldn't exactly feel right for the final boss to be someone other than Xehanort himself. Though I don't disagree with a betrayal on the ol' farts end, that'd be interesting. In fact, I've got my own ideas of who it might be, but right now it's just a silent wish.

#1962887 What do you think about the Brain/Blaine change?

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 22 September 2017 - 05:12 AM

Oh gosh, yeah, I like Blaine better. But hey, we still have that choice to either go with the JP version or the NA. So whichever one you like more, go ahead.

#1962512 Sora's and Roxas's Dive to the Heart connected to Strelitzia? Ventus...

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 18 September 2017 - 03:41 PM

Exactly. As shown with Master Eraqus, he didn't die. He disappeared as he was transferring his heart to Terra and he left his Keyblade.

During the Keyblade War, we can see countless hearts floating away and the wielders leaving their Keyblades behind.

Not only do we get a sort of 'confirmation' with her heart disappearing like that, but we also see her Chirithy begin to vanish as she's limping out of that warehouse. If the player dies, their Chirithy disappears (or dies as well) and Strel's Chirithy was doing just that before they vanished and her heart floated upwards into the sky. Right now, Nomura is telling us or trying to convince us that she's dead.

If she does end up coming back, I'll be honest, I'll be disappointed because death just doesn't have a bite in this series, but I'll also be a little happy because I bet Strel is a pretty cool and nice character to get to know.

#1962202 The replacement theory about the 5 fortellers and some ventus speculation

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 14 September 2017 - 02:39 PM

Honestly, Nomura has a lot of room to work with when it comes to why Ephemer, Skuld, and Blaine aren't in the present timeline alongside Lauriam and Ventus. Like it was said many times, they went to another world to experience no tragedy, this could also be another realm where time flows differently or not at all. In KH3, Lea and Kairi are to be training in a realm that has no time, so the possibility is there. It's also a possibility that Ven and Lauriam escaped or were accidentally cast out of this realm and Ephemer, Skuld and Blaine are still in there which would explain their lack of appearance and allow them to remain as the same age as Ventus since it seems that they are the good guys and Lauriam is the baddie.

We also have no reason to believe that these characters will show up in KH3; that's the end of Xehanort's saga. If anything, KHUX could be setting us up for what happens afterwards. That being said, it's still too early to be seeking out placements for Larxene, Demyx and Luxord's real selves (hopefully I'm not speaking too soon  xD). They may be some added villains to the next saga.

#1961327 Message and new Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] artwork from Tetsuya Nomura

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 02 September 2017 - 11:03 PM

Hmm, this is a pretty good analysis of the image! Great work! :D

Seriously though, I can't get over how amazing this artwork looks! And I'm glad that the story in Union X is finally getting underway, per Nomura's words! He says that the story will make us think...I wonder what mysteries he's prepared for us? :O

Thank you! And you're right, this work is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! I'm so excited to finally meet all the Union Leaders, even though not all of them made it...  : Maybe...

But I'm also excited for the story moving on now and that the content will make us think. Oooooh, I love mysteries!  <3

#1961305 Message and new Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] artwork from Tetsuya Nomura

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 02 September 2017 - 06:32 PM

"This time please pay attention to their positions."

Alright, Nomura, let's see what we've got here...  :)

Ephemera is positioned in the center stage, obviously a sign that he's the leader. Skuld is on his right, so she's obviously going to be his "right hand" girl. Blaine (who we can now see his face, looking good buddy!) is on Ephemera's left and although I can't see any significance of that position, it would appear that those in the front are the "good" guys.

Then we got Ventus sitting in the front beside Chirithy and he's... holding something, what is he holding??? It looks like its covered with a cloth? Interesting... or it could just be his knee.

Now for those in the back. From their position, being in the back can represent secret agendas or motives. And with Lauriam back there staring at that dandelion, I can only think of the same thing that a youtuber commented (sorry can't remember their name) saying, "he's staring at his success." Or as to say, he's successfully infiltrated the Dandelions? Don't know about anyone else, but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on him.

And finally we got that mysterious hooded figure holding a white bleeding heart flower, which I heard represents the tragic death of a young woman (a.k.a) Strelitzia. I see a lot of people are grasping towards the idea that that's Strel's nobody, but I personally think it's Luxu. His role was to wait and watch what happens, who's to say he didn't witness Strel's death? But whoever it is, this is their way of mourning Strelitzia.

On another note, Blaine is looking to be that cool, laid back, misunderstood kind of guy I assumed he was, so that's awesome! At first I thought that little red thing was part of the black robe, but no, that's just Blaine's feather on his hat. Also, check out his earring, it's a cross of some sort...  :/

So let's wrap up what seems to be important when it comes to detail:

  • Lauriam is happily holding a dandelion in the back.
  • An unknown hooded figure is with them holding a bleeding heart flower.
  • Ventus is holding something in a way to make it seem very precious. He's also the only one sitting down.

What does it all mean?!

#1960489 [Spoilers] What If Lauriam Is The One Who Screws Everything Up? :o

Posted by BaeWulf95 on 26 August 2017 - 06:17 AM

I was thinking this as well! But in regards to whether the killer was Lauriam or if it's all a red herring, both assumptions are obvious. It's easy to assume that Lauriam was the killer given how the cutscenes panned out and just by knowing Marluxia as a power hungry guy who has the title of 'Graceful Assassin'. It's also easy to see how it all could be a red herring and someone else could be the killer given that we didn't actually see who killed Strel. And this, IMO, is what Nomura was going for.

One of the things I loved about this update was the fact we were left with a bit of a mystery on our hands as well as the fact that someone in Kingdom Hearts (other than Eraqus) actually died! This was great story telling! He had us quickly become attached to Strel so that when she died like she did, it would bring forth that emotional reaction and it worked so well!

Now, in my opinion, I think Lauriam was the one who assassinated Strelitzia and the reasons you [The Transcendent Key] gave I agree with 100%. It fits his character, from what we know of him as a nobody, well and honestly adds in a bit of an interesting twist. I really want to see how far he can fool the others if this proves to be on the right track. Plus, it makes the story a whole lot more interesting.  ;)
