About Me

Greetings all,

I am Jamaal "The Key Jay" Ephriam aka your favorite neighborhood creator mang! I create stuff, mostly audio related! I'm also the creator and one of the composers for a Kingdom Hearts based project called Project Kingdom XIII (which you should sign up for)!

You can find me on most social media outlets under the same name aka Key Jay HD:
YouTube | TwitchTwitter | SoundCloudInstagram | Official Website

I do some of everything; music production, voice acting, web design, some video post production, programing, some server administration, but I'm also a huge gamer. I'm also a big Kingdom Hearts fan (PUMPED FOR KH3)!

So lets chat sometime! Find me on a live stream over at twitch, chat with me here, discuss Project Kingdom XIII, or what not!

ENJOY!

Plotting out the potential 13 track project. I'm hoping we see some KH3 tracks come around for consideration. For now, it's an interesting list thus far :)

Progressing with Project Kingdom XIII. Searching for another writer at the moment though. I have a candidate, but we will see.

At the moment, I'm playing Tales of Bersaria. Been taking me forever because I'm streaming it as well. But I think I'm nearly done ^_^. That aside, I still have Horizon Zero Dawn sitting there looking at me with discontent lol (pretty much, I'm not even fully through the opening sequences yet XD). I also got the KH 1.5 + 2.5 bundle so I'm reliving the series all over again, and also considering I've never played any of the in between games.

Sorry for the late reply btw. I was busy getting things ready to introduce and promote Project Kingdom XIII at a local comic convention.

Yeah, I play the piano so I used to do scales daily, twice a day. But I felt that doing scales only made sure one would not sing off tune. It felt that it contributed little in developing aspects of the voice like Vibrato, or Falsetto.

Pitch yes definitely, but a combination of pitch and dynamics across a scale range can be pretty difficult. Combines those with hannon and you have quite the vocal work out. I guess in this case, its not what you sing, its how you sing it. Heck, you can make a complex practice out of "Merry had a Little Lamb" if you wanted to.

Ex. While just using the first part of the song, Standard Sing, then in pianissimo, and in forte chest, then forte head, then crescendo to end of song, then decrescendo, then in staccato, then intonating between staccato and legato while keeping it pianissimo, THEN doing all the above in each scale degree. All the above will help with breathing control, pitch control, and awareness of dynamics.
