  1. A friend of a friend of mine's found one of these too but someone stole goofy from it lmao
  2. I covered the short version! So excited for the full version so I can complete a full version of this! I actually intended for this to be a piano + vocal cover initially, but it wound up turning into an orchestral style cover as I worked on the instrumental. I'm gonna be doing the full version in the coming weeks along with a full version of Don't Think Twice and Chikai, so if you like what you hear, check out my channel at https://www.youtube.com/tarastmichel
  3. I'm finally back with another cover from Kingdom Hearts with my own original lyrics. I'm going to be doing a few more over the next week or so, but I decided to release Aqua's Theme first since it relates to the recent release of Kingdom Hearts 0.2 (part of KH 2.8). In my arrangement, I chose to remove the overlap between verses since I wasn't fond of how the lyrics sounded overlapped with each other. This was a bit of challenge to sing since the song is so slow and was never meant to be sung (RIP breath control), but I managed to make it work. Huge thanks to Aiyoku for drawing the picture of Aqua in the video. The wayfinder is an edited photo of a wayfinder I got at a convention! I'll be doing more KH covers as my next couple of uploads, so if you'd like to be the first to know about them before I remember to post here, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/tarastmichel I also recently sang Simple And Clean, which can be found in my Kingdom Hearts covers playlist on YouTube along with Aqua's Theme, Kairi's Theme, and Roxas' Theme: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4S0h8-VoSoTxHwBrYXDerAm3mZLvnotc
  4. Thank you guys so much! As it stands, I'm in the process of trying to become YouTube pro with my music. I'm selling licensed covers like this one through a site called Loudr, and I'm partnered with a YouTube network as well! When it comes to YouTube tho, you guys make all the difference between me sitting next to mic and singing, and actually being able to share that with a bunch of people on a pro level. If you like what you hear, and you're able to, even small actions like sharing the video, liking or commenting, and reposting it are super helpful
  5. So I finally did another Kingdom Hearts song! Some of you may remember the last one I did a few months ago, Kairi's Theme! Between then and now, I've covered a bunch of songs, but this is my first KH cover since then. This was a bit of a challenge to record and film as #1 it was never meant to be sung, and #2 there's a lot of instrumental breaks written into it because it was never meant to be sung. I did my best with it though. On the lyrics for this, I was going for a progression through Roxas' story. It outlines from the day he was born as a nobody, through starting to become his own person and making friends, betrayal of the organization in search of answers, then finally returning to Sora to be a part of him as he was originally. So basically, KH Days through the exceptionally long KH2 intro but emphasizing on the sentiment some key points haha. In the future, I might go for commissioned art for covers like this instead simply because the video is so awkward to try to film for songs like this. I feel like video like this would be better suited for songs like j-pop/anime style covers and stuff (perhaps some Utada Hikaru stuff at some point). I've said this before, but Kingdom Hearts is my all time favorite video game, and I'm happy to be putting out another cover from it. Note: If you like the song, there's purchase links for download in the video description. The download + instrumental is also available through my Patreon for $5. PS: if you like my Kingdom Hearts covers, then check out my vocal cover with original lyrics of Path of Redemption from Square-Enix's I Am Setsuna
  6. Hey guys! I haven't been around in a while because I've been so busy lately! But I'm just popping in to let you know I'm still here and will be active when I'm able to! Also I should have a new KH cover or two coming within the next month, so I'll be sure to post that when it's up!

  7. I love this! I love how it tells so many different stories in one! The way the clips are synchronized have such emotional impact with the song... the Xion parts actually had me close to tears. Also I LOVE that you used the version of this song with Christina! <3 May that beautiful voice rest in peace!
  8. Got 3rd place in the lipsync battle! Didn't get footage tho like I'd hoped. My phone stopped recording a second after I set it to record.

  9. Thanks for the critique! I will definitely take your feedback into consideration with my future work
  10. Lip sync battle tomorrow for me at a local convention! I'm lip syncing Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru. The more I practice the more I wanna revisit this song as an actual cover for my YouTube again xD

Yeah there's a small fan run convention in my area that's running a lip sync battle as part of their activities. I'm competing tomorrow :P

It's a hard song to lip sync too cause of the backwards lines

    3. Silent
