  1. Hi, Toominator, if you ever need a translator, I'd be happy to help out as a peripheral stand-by kind of person. ^^;
  2. Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda has said that Final Fantasy XV––unless plans have changed for some reason––will have a global launch. Tabata has also reiterated this point in his interviews. In the perennial words of the great one, "Please be excited." Let's hope the Uncovered event––and XV itself––will soar beyond our expectations.
  3. Even better news: the English trailer for Star Ocean 5 will make its debut soon! Square Enix have created a Twitter account for the Star Ocean series. As they always say, "please look forward to it." Update: The first English trailer has been released. Amazon and the SE NA e-Store have opened up pre-orders. Release date is 2016 for overseas regions (including Europe).
  4. Not really relevant to the original topic, but I was fooling around and came up with this. Are there other fan remixes of "Dearly Beloved" as a battle theme? I'd love to hear them but don't know where to start looking (YouTube doesn't turn up any). https://soundcloud.com/rkane1/kh-dearly-beloved
  5. Seems like it. The melody and all are Shimomura's, but Suzuki added his own twist on the rhythms, etc.
  6. "Nomura feels that they may release those two titles even earlier than originally scheduled if anything." He does not say this nor imply it.
  7. The job description says "KH series," not Kingdom Hearts III. I'd venture to say that it may be for all sorts of games, including 2.8, Unchained, and chi. Or maybe, future entries...?

    Saying hi!

    Hi, Lucky! It's nice to meet you. I hope I can do justice on Kingdom Hearts and with the KH13 news team. Thanks for the encouragement! Hi, Youthful Z! Thank you very much. I've enjoyed what KH13 has had to offer so far. Hi, Yuya Sakaki! KH13's a "family," huh? Didn't think about it that way; thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be on the lookout for you and other users whose names I recognize. Have a good day! Nice to meet you, Weedanort! (lol) Thanks for the warm welcome. Thanks for the warm welcome, Penny! I'll definitely look out for people's names while I'm here. Hope you're doing well!

  10. There appears to have been 2 videos (not including the Making of) released for KH3. One was this conversation in its entirety. The other is a new action footage trailer.Famitsu stated that this conversation is exclusive to the event. As for the action footage trailer, it was not stated to be event-exclusive. Paragraphs about the conversation and action footage were juxtaposed, leaving one with the impression that the action footage is part of the "event-exclusive" conversation. It does not appear to be this way in the original article.Hope this sets you at ease a bit more.
  11. SE foreshadowed the emotional rollercoaster ride of the fanbase.
  12. Welcome, Hallowseve! It's nice to meet you (and another music junkie!). Hope you find this place nice and cozy. See you around!
  13. Hi, KH13! This is Rin, a new News Team Member and translator. Also huge Square Enix (well, Final Fantasy XV) fan. I'm grateful to KH13 for giving me the opportunity to work on KH-related things and to get involved with the fanbase! In my spare time, I like to do piano arrangements. So far I've done XV pieces, but in the future, I hope to expand my repertoire; maybe move on to some KH songs. Can't wait to meet you!
  14. The event was really geared toward the audience (a "premium theater" after all), so it was more about the overall experience than the information being presented. There was an exclusive "Making of KH3" video shown to the audience. We won't be getting that. SE requested attendees not to share information about the event on social media until after the second group had experienced it for themselves (the restriction was lifted at 5pm JST). Shortly after, Japanese magazine publications Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation released their articles about the event. At around the same time, a rumor surfaced about these trailers going up on the Internet the next day at 3pm JST. This rumor turned out to be false, and the source appears to be unknown at this time because everyone quoted everyone else.Copyright to KH belongs to Disney, so they decide when footage can be shown.
  15. The trailer from D23 two years ago was released on the last day of D23. Unless SE don't have another trailer prepared for KH3's next public appearance, it is likely that the trailers shown this time will be released. At the earliest, I'd say they could surface on Monday (JST), as that is the day after the last day of D23. Please note that I said "earliest," so we most definitely won't be seeing it before then, but that doesn't mean we'll see it on Japan's Monday. We'll have to wait for official word from SE or Disney. In any case, please note that the KH3 trailer shown this time is really just an enhanced version of the E3 trailer. That is, we hear the entire conversation between young Eraqus and young Xehanort, see new cuts of the battle scenes in Tangled's world rhat was introduced in June, and see some new abilities that Sora and Goofy use, including an FPS mode on the Shooting Ride (image released a few days earlier). The emotional scenes with all of the characters are not in this trailer and are likely event-exclusive. I completely understand fans' frustration, and as someone who propagated the release timing rumor without verifying the information, I apologize for having caused confusion and this frustration.
