  1. Are you continuing the Days remake? I remember that being put on hiatus a while ago, so correct me if I’m wrong and that’s still being made, or if this is something different you’re making on your own. Regardless, this is pretty sick! Nice work.
  2. Some older games on the list, but as far as what I can think recently, I think 2017 will be remembered as one of the best years gaming has ever had. Persona 5, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and Nier Automata were all phenomenal and are all still talked about constantly, and it's been about a year since a few of those have been released. The Last of Us and Dark Souls will definitely endure, especially Dark Souls. TLoU was a huge game for storytelling, and I think it secured its place in gaming history. Dark Souls practically launched its own revolution, it is pretty widely known as the definitive game for high difficulty gameplay. I think League will lose its footing in game history, Starcraft was the biggest e-Sport game for a long time and hardly anyone talks about it anymore. League is already on the decline so I don't think it'll be talked about much in 10 years or less. GTAV was a solid entry in a big series, so I don't really think GTAV specifically will hold up in time, the same way no one really plays the older GTA games much anymore, but as a series GTA will still be talked about forever. Minecraft will always be talked about as the most successful indie game of all time and a huge part of gaming in the last several years, but it's already lost most of its popularity aside from a younger audience and people who have been playing it for years already and still play it. I don't really see Minecraft drawing in new fans much at this point, pretty much everyone knows about it or has played it. Some of the other games are still talked about and everyone knows they're great games, but I don't think they have the same staying power as the others I mentioned. Of everything on the list, I think BotW and Dark Souls will endure the most. BotW because it's a big shift for one of the most popular series ever, and Dark Souls because it still seems like we can't get away from games constantly being compared to Dark Souls. Dark Souls' difficulty is still used as a baseline to compare against other games' difficulties, critics & people just talking about hard games still often say "It's like Dark Souls". It's annoying to hear at this point and often a stupid way of explaining how hard a game is, but I think that still shows how big of a stamp the series has put on gaming. And one more very recent example, Monster Hunter World. Monster Hunter has been around since 2004, but it's only getting more and more popular. Its popularity has slowly been gaining ground over the years in the West, but it's always been a phenomenon in Japan. With World it's finally broken into being hugely popular in the West and is only going to get more popular. YouTube is littered with videos drooling all over the game, everyone who picks it up seems to love it, even people who weren't big fans of previous MH games. It really is a brilliant game. So seeing how long Monster Hunter has endured, and how huge of a turning point World is for the series for its gameplay and its popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if World ends up getting recognized by many people as one of the best games of this generation. It's definitely in my top 5 games of this generation so far.
  3. I'm iffy on adding past characters like this. For a long time everyone speculated "what if this character is actually this character, or is connected to this character?" And now we're getting actual characters we know like Ventus and Marluxia added to the game. It feels like Union X has become a series of reveals. I got annoyed when people speculated if Strelitzia could be a character we know, so it only feels like characters we do know to the game only adds fire. I enjoyed the story of KHx when it was unique and was all original characters. I'm conflicted on how the game has boiled down to a bunch of random plot twists that we couldn't see coming now that the main issues like the Book of Prophecies and the Master of Masters are out of the way. Ventus and Marluxia feel more like they were added to the story as a means of fanservice & shock value rather than feeling like their characters were always meant to be there. If Nomura did always intend for them to be in the game, there was never much indicating that they'd show up. Especially not Marluxia. I can see where the story might go in terms of Marluxia being a part of it now, but it feels too shoehorned in to me. Not the biggest fan of the whole Dandelion arc so far.
  4. Hey Uni! I have seen your videos and know your close with the χ-keepers. Tell them I say great job with everything they do and love you all.

  5. Definitely Dance Call. Does amazing damage if you time the attacks right.

  8. I'm going with Song of the South. The live action segments themselves wouldn't fit at all, but I think Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, Br'er Bear, Br'er Frog, etc. would make great characters for a Kingdom Hearts world. And maybe, depending on how Attraction Flow works, include a Splash Mountain - based Attraction Flow attack either inside the world, or received for beating the world (if they work like Limits or Summons). Br'er Rabbit would also be a really cool Summon, himself. And maybe a fishing-themed Keyblade Transformation for the Keyblade received from the world would be cool. If we're talking strictly on what would work best with live-action segments from the poll, I'm gonna have to go for Narnia. I'd say Haunted Mansion or Tomorrowland based on theme, since I have ideas of Attraction Flows based on the rides, but I wasn't a fan of their live action movies. Narnia would be best for its setting and fantasy feel. Everything else just doesn't feel like it would fit in as well, IMO. If anything live-action is included, I hope Pirates of the Caribbean comes back. They proved that it could work in KH2, and if they bring it back, they can just go into the Dead Man's Chest storyline. I'd rather them bring back Pirates than go into a new live-action movie since the foundation is already there, and I'm not a big fan of the live-action worlds in the first place.
  9. I highly doubt it. They hyped up D23 US, and they didn't have any footage. Considering their readiness to show gameplay, if they're hyping up D23 Japan, then I'm sure that's the next place we'll see any footage of the game.
  10. So evil... This is the true villain of KH3.
