#1965744 I wish you guys nothing but the best :(

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 03 November 2017 - 03:38 PM

Because honestly, I can't stand this anymore. I'M GETTING OFF KH3 HYPE TRAIN DEFINITELY. Seriously, everybody, it's done for me. Much like when he (Nomura) said that BBS 0.2 was going to be a short episode* (pretty much a KH3 demo), this announcement of "less Disney worlds with more content" has killed brutally all my hype for the next title. They already tried to do this thing in DDD and it didn't turn out very well. (Huge worlds with pretty much nobody living in them). Usually, numbered sequels (main titles) of games are "upgrades" of the former title, but KH3 is an exception to the rule. What kind of more content? More areas to explore, more treasure chests to open, more enemies to kill? It's no big deal. Also, Nomura said that KH3 will not have all the answers to every question, which means it will certainly leave us with more unanswered questions. Oh, and he also said that, with KH3, he will try to meet everybody's expectations. Well, guess what, Nomura? YOU WON'T. You should really be careful when you try to generalize people with words like these. KH2 had more Disney worlds than KH1, so why should KH3 be an exception to the rule? I guess, even with Disney worlds such as Tangled, Big Hero 6 and Toy Story (3 of my favorite Disney films EVER) appearing in the next title, that won't be enough to convince me to care about this game anymore.

*BBS 0.2 only had 3 Disney worlds to explore. Really? Firetrucking really? What about La Cité des Cloches, Beauty's Castle, the Dalmatians's world, The Land of Dragons, Prankster's Paradise, The Grid, Bambi's world, Dumbo's world and countless other Disney worlds that fell to the darkness? Are you seriously telling me that Castle of Dreams, Dwarf Woodlands and Enchanted Dominion are the only worlds that were consumed? That is ridiculous at maximum level.

I don't know, I could be wrong though, but, until Nomura changes his mind or go back with this idea of "less Disney worlds" in KH3, I'm out of the hype train definitely. Oh, and this is also because all this stress, anxiety and nervous moments I'm having with KH3 are killing me inside (almost literally). So, I'm doing what I believe is the best for me.

Anyway, I wish you guys only the best feelings and wishes that there is in the entire universe from today, until KH3 launches and forever. Enjoy your stay on the hype train and have lots of fun. (That doesn't mean I won't be making other posts here on the site regarding the KH series in general, it's just like this: "Oh, KH3, whatever").

#1965256 Is Goku really UNBEATABLE? Who could defeat (or kill) him?

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 27 October 2017 - 07:14 PM

So, I don't know about where you guys live, but here in Brazil, Dragon Ball fans/fanboys usually say that for example: even if DC, Marvel, Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Variant Comics, Dynamite Comics, Top Cow Productions, IDW Comics, any/every/all other comic book publishing company, Disney, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and any/every/all animation production company, One Piece, Naruto, One Punch Man, Bleach, Pokémon, any/every/all other anime/manga production company, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Sega, Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, SNK Playmore, Konami, Tecmo Koei, Atlus, Arc System Works, Square Enix, Platinum Games, and any/every/other (vídeo) game production company teamed up, all (I REALLY MEAN ALL OF THEM) of their characters wouldn't stand a single chance against any Dragon Ball character (especially Goku), due to their strenght and other supreme features. I remember Reading once that, if Goku wanted, he could finish everyone (outside the DBZ series, of course) with just a fart. LMAO.

And here is where I ask you guys: Is Goku (and any/every/all DB character, but mostly Goku), really REALLY unbeatable? Isn't there at least 1 character from outside the DBZ series that could defeat (or even kill) the Super Saiyajin? Just asking, because, you know, I find it quite difficult and dubious to believe that not even 1 (just 1) character from all these companies I mentioned have the power to best him in combat/duel/match. That's why I'm asking you guys this.

It can be character(s) from literally ANY KIND OF MEDIA EXISTENT: anime, manga, animation (american or not), comics, comic books, books (from any genre: fantasy, Science fiction, supernatural and others), films/movies, TV series, novels, romances, light novels, vídeo games (and its variants like mobile games), web media (like web animations, ONA, web comics, and others)...LITERALLY: ANY KIND OF MEDIA YOU WANT. Also, it can be either heroes or villains, anti-heroes, neutral characters, anti-villains, any alignment for the characters.

So, which character could stand his/her own against the "All Might Super Saiyajin"?

#1960439 The Unpopular Opinions Thread

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 25 August 2017 - 08:21 PM

SCREW THE HATERS VERY HARD!!!!!! FFXV is 1 of THE BEST FF titles ever produced/made since the franchise launch back in 1987, without a single doubt. The game itself (graphics, story, gameplay, music, DLC expansions, extra contents, demo and every/any/all other aspects of this game are EXCELLENT) and ALL/EVERY/ANY of the media related to the game (the wonderful film Kingsglaive, the outstanding anime series Brotherhood, the amazing mobile games, the emotional audio drama/free e-book Parting Ways, the highly interesting side-scrolling game A King's Tale, the unique MMORPG A New Empire experience, and the fabulous DLC Co-op multiplayer expansion) all contributed 100% to make FFXV 1 of the best games I've ever seen in my entire life. It was definitely worth the 10 (or 3/4) year wait. 10/10, 5/5, 9/9, 100% AMAZING.

#1960432 Have the KH series become fanservice (too much)?

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 25 August 2017 - 07:21 PM

So, what do you guys think? Have the KH series become a chain of fanservice with the latest titles released (starting with DDD)? In my honest opinion, YES, IT HAVE BECOME. Want some examples? Here it goes:

*ANYBODY can have/wield a Keyblade (LEA): now, please, don't get me wrong, it's really cool to see Lea being able to wield a Keyblade (and his Keyblade's design is fantastic), but, honestly, this is very awkward. Come on, ever since we first saw him (in my case, KH2), his memorable weapon is the chakrams (sorry for the spelling). It's going to take some time to get used to see him using his Keyblade in action (and not his previous weapon). You see, the Keyblade in general was supposed to be a special weapon, which only very few had the ability to wield it, based on the strenght of their hearts. Yes, Lea has a strong heart, because he wants to save Roxas and Xion, but, if we go this way, then ANYBODY IN THE KH UNIVERSE HAS A STRONG HEART, even Donald and Goofy, the Princesses of Heart (aside from Kairi), Ariel, Naminé, Pete and Maleficent, the other Disney Villains, and so on. For me, things eventually started looking fishy back in BBS, when Yen Sid revealed to Terra that he is now a retired Keyblade Master. Even Braig, before fighting Terra, said: "It seems like EVERYONE has one of those these days". And now, even the 5th Union leader can wield one.

*The return of some characters who should've stayed dead: Sora and Riku destroyed both Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas, so, why are they back? Yes, the time-travel stuff may be an answer, however, if we go this way, EVERY TIME A VILLAIN/CHARACTER IS KILLED, HE/SHE CAN SOMEHOW, BE REVIVED using this method. So, does that mean that all our previous journeys were for nothing? Like, seriously? Why don't Sora use the time-travel method and bring back Xion, Roxas and Naminé, then?

#1958972 KH3 being released in 2018? Pffft...AS IF

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 12 August 2017 - 05:30 PM

In one of his latest interviews, Nomura said that he's pretty "confident" about a 2018 release year for KH3. Well, guess what: I DON'T BELIEVE HIM. At least, not 100%. Here are 2 reasons why:

1) I'm on the team that believes KH3 will have 20 worlds (since he said KH3 will have more worlds than KH2). 20 = 7 lights + 13 darknesses. And if, again, IF this comes true, then let's count how many worlds we have so far (Confirmed worlds said by SE themselves or shown on screenshots, artworks, etc. I'm not going to consider probable/possible worlds here, like Frozen, for example):

1.1) Twilight Town;

1.2) Tangled (Rapunzel's world);

1.3) San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6 world);

1.4) Mount Olympus (Hercules world);

1.5) Toy Story world;

1.6) The Mysterious Tower or Symphony of Sorcery;

Do you guys see? Only 6 worlds out of the 20 ones have been revealed so far. And, I've read on this site that the next KH3 information/news will only come out at D23 Japan next year (which, actually, should happen THIS year). Even if he announces 1 world per month from D23 onward, there's no way he can show us all the 14 remaining worlds KH3 will have (like he said he would do: reveal all the worlds) before it launches (unless he reveals 2 worlds each month or something like that, but this is highly unlikely. He's never done that before and the chances are very slim he'll do that).

2) He is getting a little overconfident. I'm pretty sure Hajime Tabata and Nomura were also very confident they could release Final Fantasy XV and KH 2.8 FCP in September and December, respectively, and we all saw what happened, right? Who's to say this won't happen again? Delays happen all the time, don't they? Especially when SE is too afraid of the idea of FFXV competing with Persona 5 and then, what happens? Both games are delayed. And this delay affected 2.8's original release date, which was supposed to be December.

Well, this is it. I hope I'm 100% wrong, but, until the game launches, I won't trust Nomura 100%.

#1954927 Which KH3 trailer has been the best so far?

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 16 July 2017 - 07:18 PM

1) The E3 2013 KH3 reveal trailer?

2) The D23 2013 gameplay reveal trailer (First Attraction Flow reveal and Mount Olympus confirmed as a world)?

3) The E3 2014 short teaser trailer (Young Xehanort talking with Young Eraqus)?

4) The E3 2015 trailer (New Attraction Flows and Keyblade Transformations, alongside Rapunzel's world reveal)?

5) The Jump Festa 2016 trailer (The return of the Yellow Opera and Pink Agaricus Heartless)?

6) The 2017 Orchestra trailer (more than 2 party members and lots of other new stuff)?

7) The D23 2017 trailer (Toy Story world reveal trailer, many more new features and, finally, a RELEASE DATE)?

Mine is number 7. :biggrin: :rolleyes: :wink: xP ;) xD

#1954400 D23: Upcoming Disney Animation and Pixar Movies

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 14 July 2017 - 08:42 PM

  1. Hmm, I see. That would be an interesting story angle to pull from!
  2. Ha, that would be pretty badass!

1) Right? Also, the sequel really needs some focus on Elsa, because, despite being one of the central characters in the story, in my opinion, the first movie focused 95% on Anna.

#1954396 D23: Upcoming Disney Animation and Pixar Movies

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 14 July 2017 - 08:35 PM

On the Disney Animated Classics side, I'm most excited for Wreck-It Ralph 2, but I honestly would've wanted it to focus on console gaming since the first one focused on arcade gaming, but hey, the premise of Ralph on the Internet sounds fun, and the description of the footage shown at D23 sounds promising! So I won't complain! Frozen 2 also sounds cool, but it's really hit or miss for me. I thought that the first one did a good job encapsulating its message, so I don't know how they'll go about a second one (1)! And Gigantic is still a mystery, but I'm looking forward to any developments on that in the future! :D

As for Pixar's side of things, The Incredibles 2 obviously takes the spot as my most anticipated upcoming Pixar film! I loved the first one, and ever since the end, I think it's safe to say that all of us were dying for a sequel (2), and now, so many years later, we're just a few months away from getting the film! Gahhh, so much hype! Coco also looks promising, and while I was a little skeptical about Toy Story 4 at first, I've warmed up to the idea of the film, so long as they retain what makes Toy Story amazing! :D

1) Rumors say that Frozen 2 might focus (???) on Hans's redemption  :ohmy:  :O

2) And to be featured in KH3 as well, right? :3  :biggrin:

#1954393 Tomorrow's trailer speculation

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 14 July 2017 - 08:30 PM

The E3/orchestra trailer didn't have it though :P So they might have dropped it for good (1).

I hope we get a new song, some first glimpse on the KH3 soundtrack. Would be awesome. And also some mooooore cutscenes (2)!

1) Yup, and who knows when we'll get an actual release date, with no delays, right?

2) Yes, please, cutscenes from San Fransokyo, the next new world announced, and last, but not least, Kingdom of Corona. I'm dying to see Rapunzel and her glorious hair in Unreal Engine 4 and Kingdom Shader.

Probably a Toy Story world reveal and, hopefully, Larxene's return.

#1954369 How will the Disney worlds's stories/plots be "divided"?

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 14 July 2017 - 05:38 PM

I know what you guys might be thinking right now: "What do you mean by divided"? OK, calm down, everybody, I'll explain:

Remember back in BBS and DDD when the protagonists each visited a Disney world and stayed there until a certain moment (For example: Ventus stayed in Castle of Dreams only until Jaq and himself fixed Cinderella's dress, remember? Also, Sora visited Pranksters's Paradise only until Pinocchio and Jiminy were swallowed by Monstro)? Well, then, this got me thinking how the Disney worlds's plot will be divided in KH3. If you still don't get what I mean, don't worry, I'll give one more example:

Kingdom of Corona (Rapunzel's world)

1st visit: Sora, Donald and Goofy (they arrive in this world and stay there until, for example, they help Rapunzel, Flynn and Pascal escape the guards, or the Heartless, in the Snuggly Duckling).

2nd visit: Riku and King Mickey (they guide Rapunzel and Flynn to the lanterns while fending off Heartless and stay there until Flynn is ambushed by The Stabbington Brothers and captured by the royal guards, while Rapunzel goes back to the tower with Mother Gothel).

3rd visit: Kairi and Lea (they learn that Rapunzel is in great danger and Flynn is about to be executed and go to the rescue of both of them).

Guys, I've already said it, but, I'll say it only one more time: THIS...IS...JUST...AN...EXAMPLE...OK? Just to make things more clear, you know?

So, what's you guys's opinions on this thread? Do you think we'll get to visit not just this world, but all of Disney worlds, with Sora, Donald and Goofy only or do you think we'll have a kind of BBS theme, where'll visit each world once with each main playable character (assuming Riku, Mickey, Kairi and Lea will be, you know, playable character and party character)?

IMHO, I would really, REALLY love for Kairi to visit Disney worlds (something I've wanted to do since the first KH title) with Lea, because, you see, they barely know each other, and this would be the perfect opportunity for them to get to know each other better and learn with one another (just like how Sora learned many things from Donald and Goofy and Riku learned quite a lot from Mickey, right?). Also, a Frozen world is pretty much confirmed for KH3, and the idea of Elsa fearing her powers is very, VERY similar to the situations Riku has been through the games, isn't it? Just like how he inspired Quasimodo to go outside and see the world, I can see Riku giving Elsa some really good advices about controlling her fears/powers or something like that.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but, I think that, once again, Sora might, MIGHT be the only playable character in KH3, where he and Donald and Goofy will visit the Disney worlds from the beggining of the original movie story to the end. You see, Riku and Mickey will be too busy finding a way to the Realm of Darkness (in order to rescue Aqua) and finding previous Keyblade wielders (as stated by SE in their press conference at KH3 E3 2013, remember?). While Kairi and Lea must hasten their training if they take part in the final battle against the 13th darknesses.

Anyway, leave your thoughts here, everybody, pretty please.

#1952614 Which FF characters (heroes/villains) should they add?

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 03 July 2017 - 08:37 AM

Hey, guys, how's it going? So, in, this topic, I would love to know your ideas about which FF characters (it can be either heroes/villains/antiheroes...) should be added in KH3. There is no limit: you can choose from FF1 to FFXV and/or even spin-offs and non-canonical titles, anime, manga, mobile games...LITERALLY EVERYTHING/ANYTHING.  Oh, and if you can/if possible, try to put that character in a Disney world (for example, Vaan is a pirate, right? So, what better world to be his home than a Treasure Planet world, right?). You see, just because it's a FF character, that doesn't mean he/she has to necessarily live in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden, you know? Take Zack, for example, we only saw him in Olympus Coliseum, didn't we? Also, KH3 seems like the perfect chance for us (the fans) to tell the KH team which underrated FF characters we would love to see in the game (since who knows how long it will take between KH3 and KH4, right?)

Anyway, let me hear your opinions, everybody.

#1950122 3 questions about the KH3 Orchestra trailer

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 18 June 2017 - 03:18 PM

1) What did Nomura mean when he said that, at D23 next month, he will provide the "Final Information" about KH3? Is it the last info we'll hear about KH3 for now or until the game launches?

2) The ending of the trailer says "New World" announcement in July 15. But, um, is this announcement about a new, REALLY NEW, NEVER SEEN BEFORE world or could it be a returning world?

3) The ending of the trailer also says "New trailer" coming at D23 next month. But, pretty sure I read somewhere that it's only going to be an extended version of the Orchestra trailer. So, which one is going to be?

#1940338 Will you "jump ship" after KH3?

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 25 April 2017 - 05:59 PM

For me? Well, it depends on a lot of topics:

1) What the new characters will look like (appearance/personality-speaking);

2) If the next saga's villain/villainess is just as dangerous and cunning as Xehanort;

3) The next saga's main theme/plot;

AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST (AKA:The most important aspect):

4) How long the time gap between KH3's and KH4'S release date will be.

With that last thing said, many of you might be thinking right now: "Don't be impatient. These things take time". Yes, I'm clearly aware of that. I try my best to be as much patient as I can be, believe me. But, the real point here is: "Nobody, and I'll say it again, NOBODY has infinite patience". Patience is good, sure, but, it has its limits. I don't want to wait another 10 years for a numbered title again, ever. However, this might not be the case. We'll probably have to wait another 10 years (again). Why, you ask? It's simple.

Many members of the KH community are asking Nomura for a full remake of Days and Re: Coded (as playable games, of course). And Nomura will probably consider these requests and might actually remake one (or both, depending on the demand) of them. Besides, I remember very clearly that I read an interview in this site (Sorry, can't remember which interview was, though) that he also said that after KH3, he would like to tell the "full story" of 0.2 (What he means by "full story", I have no idea, because, 0.2 seemed pretty good and complete, despite how short it is). Not only that, but he's also in charge of Final Fantasy VII Remake (Worth reminding that he announced this title just a few months after he abandoned Final Fantasy XV. LOL, can you guys imagine if Nomura hadn't stepped down from FFXV's development? He would be in charge of 3 big titles and FFXV wouldn't have been released yet. It still would be in "Now in development" stage). And, please, everybody, let's be 100% honest here: between KH3 and FFVIIR, which title do you think he will give more attention? Seriously, let's say the cold and cruel truth here: of course he will give more attention to FFVIIR. Doubtless. It's the most iconic game of the franchise and Square Enix's cashing cow. Oh, and let's not forget that, while he remakes Days and Re: Coded, he'll still be in charge of directing the "episodes" of FFVIIR, so the remake of the KH titles will probably be delayed.

Guys, from the bottom of my heart: I don't want to wait another 10 years for a numbered KH title/game. This is a complete disrespect to the consumer and the fans. And this situation gets a lot worse when Square Enix makes us wait 15 months for KH3 news, and, when the time comes, they don't keep their promise. Not to mention that, when they show us a trailer, it's one which has stuff we've already seen in a past event, but with only 1 or 2 new scenes/shots (You know, the D23 Expo Japan 2015, which was pretty much the same trailer from E3 of the same year, with just 1 or 2 new stuff and that's it). Oh, yeah, let's not forget of the lovely and sweet private trailers that were only shown to people who attented a special event (the KH3 trailer at 2.5 HD Remix launch event back in 2014, and, of course, the private trailer at D23 Japan back in 2015).

If Square Enix makes us wait more 10 years between KH3 and KH4, only to do all these bullshits again, I can assure you: I will give up/quit/"jump the ship" after KH3, for sure. Those KH days and waiting days will all be behind me (temporarily or permanently).

Anyway, what about you guys? What are your opinions on this thread?

#1939385 Mickey spoiled how he and Riku will save Aqua in KH3

Posted by SRKTVAMDGRLXN on 19 April 2017 - 04:57 PM

Hey, guys, it's me again. How is it going? So, then, here's a question: did you guys notice that in 0.2 BBS AFP, our little King Mickey sort of spoiled how he and Riku might/will save Aqua in KH3? Remember that Yen Sid said (in 0.2 secret ending) that, in order to rescue Aqua from the Realm of Darkness, Mickey and Riku must find an entrance to the ROD first? All right, and now is when this image comes:

interesting what mickey said.png

(For those who can't open the file, it is an image of Mickey talking to Aqua in the ROD (in 0.2 BBS AFP). Mickey says to Aqua: "It's only when a world gets consumed, that an entrance appears in the realm between").

And here is where the horror movie begins: Does that mean that, in order to enter the Realm of Darkness, a world must get consumed (by the darkness, of course), and then an entrance to the dark realm will appear in the realm between (Twilight Town, maybe? Remember in KH2 when this world was connected to TWTNW?)? Because, if so, then which poor world will be sacrificed for our heroes to enter the ROD?

So, what's your opinions, everybody? What do you all think about this? Don't be shy and discuss here.
