  1. I don't care if 0.2 takes only a few hours to complete, I will enjoy every moment to its fullest. It's as close to KH III as we'll get anytime soon.
  2. "Once you pass the challenges in a speedrun, you can obtain decoration items, and you can customize Aqua's appearance." Timed challenges? Sounds interesting.
  3. Gamers everywhere, regardless of platform preference, should be in mourning.
  4. KH13 continues to analyze every nook and cranny of any news, photos, and videos of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. Today, we delve into the HUD, or heads-up display. It is also equally referred to as a 'status bar'. As we noted before, the classic command menu makes a return from Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. While it doesn't look as artful as Kingdom Hearts II's default style, Kingdom Hearts III is still in development and nothing is truly finalized until it ships. While the command menu is interesting, the magic and health meters have much to say. To note, the character profiles show a much more serious Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Could this show us that Kingdom Hearts III is much more serious in tone than the previous numbered titles? It is also fun to note that, when hit, the characters still wince in pain. When Donald and Goofy are hit, their respective meters bobble up and down with a flashing red light accompanying it. Next, if you'll note the 'EX' gauge, it is still unclear what it pertains to, as it at least doesn't deplete when Sora is shown changing his Keyblade into dual guns, or summoning the attraction flows. However, recent images show the gauge's name was changed from 'EX' to 'Focus'. The reason for the name change, or what that meter reflects, has yet to be discussed by Tetsuya Nomura or anyone working on Kingdom Hearts III. Nothing is written in stone for the HUD, and anything could change between now and Kingdom Hearts III's release. Still, it is fun to speculate. What do you think the Focus gauge triggers in the game? Do you think the more serious profile pictures of Sora, Donald, and Goofy, hint at a more serious game? Please sound off in the comments below! Click here to view the article

  6. I'm glad to see someone else interested in Star Ocean 5. I'd love to see Fayt make a return, he was pretty awesome in Star Ocean 3.
  7. We're getting a clearer image of Square Enix's plans for E3 as the calendar moves closer to June 16, where Square Enix will be holding their E3 2015 press conference. Thanks to NeoGAF user Nirolak, we've learned that Square Enix will be announcing several new games during their E3 press conference. According to a Square Enix corporate website, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (which was announced in April 2015) and "several other additional titles" will be "announced" during the conference. It is possible that the several other titles are simply referring to the other websites on the results briefing slides, but we also have to consider the possibility of any surprise announcements. What titles are you hoping our friends at Square Enix will announce at the coming E3 event? Could they be referring to the official overseas announcement for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, or perhaps something else? Let us know what you think in the comments below. 9. This May 6th marks the ten year anniversary of the European launch of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GameBoy Advance, having shipped roughly 200,000 units in Europe and 1.55 million copies worldwide. Though it is considered the least successful game in the Kingdom Hearts series, it has still received generally positive reviews, with the most praise directed towards the story. The tagline for this is "Adventure is in the cards." Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was first announced, along with Kingdom Hearts II, at the Tokyo Game Show in September of 2003. The idea for a intermediary game began after Tetsuya Nomura and his team had already begun plans for Kingdom Hearts II. The original title then was Kingdom Hearts: Lost Memories, but the title was changed to match the premise of game, while keeping the theme of memories. It also provided a way to start Kingdom Hearts II with Sora and co. not having access to the abilities and equipment earned in the first game. While Nomura was hesitant to release a Kingdom Hearts game on the GBA, after considering his options and planning accordingly, and hearing that children wanted a Kingdom Hearts game for the GBA, he changed his mind. Since then, Chain of Memories has been released for the PS2 as Re:Chain of Memories and for the PS3 as part of Kingdom Hearts: 1.5 HD ReMIX. Of note is Jupiter's involvement in game development. The card system employed by Chain of Memories inspired the gameplay of Jupiter's next game "The World Ends With You". While many people clearly had fun with Chain of Memories for the GBA, PS2, and PS3, I want to know what you thought about the game. Did you have fun? What do you remember most about this unique entry in the Kingdom Hearts series?
  10. I'd love a chance to join the KH13 team. Admittedly, I'm not active on the forums, but I do get Facebook feed notifications of updates from KH13. I'm also an avid fan of KH, having played pretty much every KH game out but X since I don't read or even understand Japanese. I do have ample time to respond and write. As to my writing skills, I am to be awarded with a Course Directors Award from my English Composition teacher at my college.
  11. A collector's pack with just 2.5 HD would be great.
  12. A couple times on GameStop. Off the top of my head, one for Infamous and one for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles collector's edition.
  13. Having to play through Chain of Memories six times is asking much. 3 for Sora on all difficulties and 3 for Riku on all difficulties.
