  1. I'm really sorry guys, but after putting quite a bit of thought into it, I've decided to leave this RP. I'm leaving for for a few reasons, the biggest of which being that I'm just too busy to keep up with everyone else at the moment, something that's not likely to change any time soon. I hope the rest of you enjoy the remainder of the RP.
  2. Wow, this almost makes me feel bad about what Jasper did to her... almost.
  3. Okay, this is amazing. I especially like the blue stripes on the hoodie. Also, were you listening to his theme before writing this, because that and his appearance complement each other perfectly.
  4. If I'm remembering things correctly from The Experiment, Sylar only has lie detection, not extreme empathy. That is, unless something happened later on in the RP that upgraded this power.
  5. Sorry to hear that man, hope things go well for you. Or at least, not initially.
  6. (D3) Liath nearly face-palmed. He'd just risk his life to get a brief audience with the Doctor, and it worked. He'd hoped against the odds that the Doctor would be willing to answer some of his questions, as opposed to killing him, and he was. Everything was going perfectly. Or at least they were, until those two halfwits decided to act tough, most likely ticking off the Doctor in the process. If he wanted to keep things from going south, he had to do some damage control, fast. "I'm sorry for the rather harsh comments of these two young ladies, and hope you understand that they do not speak for everyone here." Liath said, giving Aro and Alysa a quick "Shut up and let me handle this" sort of glare, "However, they do bring up a good point. You address us now without an ounce of hostility, and even some goodwill, and yet your marauders seem intent on killing us. Why is that?" Liath then waited, hoping that the Doctor would find his question worth answering, and that Aro and Alysa wouldn't mess things up further.
  7. Robert Silently nodding in response to Rija's advice, Robert became intangible. As Rija and the others sent a barrage of attacks on Sylar, he snuck around the combat, and as Sylar fired upon his comrades with blades of darkness, Robert crept towards the psychopath from behind. One of the nice things about being weightless, was that you make virtually no noise or wind movement while walking, which meant that as long as Sylar didn't see him, he should be able to seek up on him without the guy noticing. Once he was in only a couple feet behind Sylar, Robert nudged his bo staff into his assailant's upper torso, and became tangible. Blank (A bit of mood music.) For the most part, the contestant's answers were rather predictable. Those who preferred action over words either stayed silent, or in Dom's case, replied in such a way to make them sound threatening. A couple of the others, meanwhile, seemed more intent on solving things diplomatically, yet still hadn't done enough to persuade him. But then, Reiner answered his third question. "What... end?" he asked, confused. It was his job to obey orders, was it not? He had no end to reach, save for the one those in control had in store for him. What a silly answer to his question. On the other hand, why was he even asking these questions in the first place? After all, he was never ordered to. And for that matter, why did he feel so invested in their answers? Perhaps... perhaps he was more independent than he wanted to believe. But what about his orders? He couldn't just abandon them. Unless... Come to think of it, he couldn't challenge all competitors, regardless of whether or not he wanted to. After all, some of the challengers were already dead, some of which he never challenged, which meant that he'd already failed. And if his first order had failed, all he had left to achieve was the second, which was to keep things interesting. And as long as he achieved this, as he planned to, it seemed he would be free to do... ...anything. Blank summoned his Tommy gun, and pointed it at the group, "Thank you for your answering, your replies have been duly noted." And knowing there was no going back, Blank swung his gun around, and shot at Gilgamesh's face.
  8. (Of Damsels and Dynamos) "I see, makes sense." Liath replied to Reverie. Clearly, there was more to this fellow than meets the eye. Of course, that was the case with most people, or at least, those worth getting to know. As Liath tried to deduce what Reverie meant by his cryptic phrasing, he caught a sight far more interesting. A pair of young women, each with interesting powers of their own, were fighting a pair of marauders. They seemed capable enough, but perhaps there was a better way of getting things done. Mr. It, I have a plan... thought Liath I know sir, I'm in your head, remember? There was a short pause, before Mr. It continued, I don't like this, sir. What if you get hurt? Is this really worth it? Of course it's worth it, my unusual friend, how else will our questions be answered? Liath replied. While the others wailed on the marauders, Mr. It begrudgingly zoomed out of Liath, around the ensuing battle, and into one of the pods. Once Mr. It was in position, Liath dashed in between the two parties, shouting "Stop!" Grateful he hadn't been hit... yet, Liath addressed what was left of the marauders, "We wish to speak to your leader, the Doctor. We may be able to help him." Meanwhile, Mr. It transformed the shabby old pod into a makeshift cannon, ready to fire on the marauders were something to go awry. After all, these machines didn't seem like the diplomatic type.
  9. Blank "I must say Gilgamesh, if you're bored this easily, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do to relieve you of that." Blank replied coldly, "Or at least, nothing I'm willing to do, at the moment. Now if you don't mind, I have a job to do." He turned back to the rest of the group, who have yet to attack him. There were other ways to challenge the others than physically, "Unlike my colleague here, I have no interest in fighting you... yet. No, I have a few questions to ask you instead, if you don't mind. My associates want me to attack you, and if any of you insist on fighting me, that's exactly what I will do. But if you would rather avoid the extra conflict, something I believe you've had plenty of already, then answer these three questions adequately. First, most, if not all of you, have shown an immense desire to press on, no matter the danger, and no mater how small the chances of survival, far more that most humans posses, by my records. Why is this? Secondly, why do you wish to regain your memories so badly? As I'm sure most of you have realized by now, your pasts are in most cases more bad than good. And finally," Blank paused for a moment. By far, this was the question he wanted the answers to the most, "why shouldn't I cause problems for you and the others if you, when that's what's clearly expected and desired of me by my comrades and masters." Blank looked into the faces of each of the challenger standing before him. Their answers not only judged what would happen to them, but most likely him as well, perhaps even more so, "Choose wisely, for more than just you may come to regret your answers. And as for any of you who wish neither to attack me or answer my questions," Blank gestured towards Gilgamesh, "I'm sure he'd love to fight you. After all, who knows what he'll do if left bored over there. Nothing good, I'm sure."

  11. Well, it looks like our duos are headed towards the same place. Perhaps we can merge into a group of four.
  12. The Dynamic Duo (Liath and Riverie. You mind if our group goes by this name, Haz?) "Good idea." replied Liath, "Mr. It, do you mind?" Of course, sir, Mr. It said in Liath's head, entering his master's body. Already, Liath felt better, and his cut had finally stopped bleeding. "Ah, much better." Liath walked off Reverie's barrier, and began marching south, "So tell me Reverie, what do you think of all this?" he asked his companion. Sure his companion clearly wasn't as smart as Liath was, but who knew, perhaps he'd have something interesting to say. Whatever it was, he doubted it would be worse than this dreadful quiet. (South)
  13. Liath lay on the floor of the Reverie's spherical barrior. He gave an arrogant smile at Mr. It to let it know he was okay, and got to his feet. "Well then, that was exciting. And informative. Just goes to show you, my friend, that sometimes it's better to weasel your way out of a situation than charge in guns blazing." Liath said as he wrung the water out of his hat. As he took a better look at his companion, he noticed that the guy was exhausted, "Oh dear, you all right Riverie? I'm deeply thankful for your help back there, and understand that you're exhausted, but we're still bobbing on the water. Do you mind moving the barrier over to the surface, perhaps over there?" Liath asked, gesturing to the south. He could've swarm that he'd seen plenty of marauders land in that direction, and if he'd learned anything in the past few years, it was that where the were dangers, there were usually secrets as well. It wasn't until after this that Liath noticed a trickle of unusually red looking water dripping from his jaw, that he remembered the glass that had been hurtling towards his face mere momets ago. He touched the left side of his face, and felt felt a sizable cut from his temple nearly to his chin, along with plenty of blood. "Well, that's unfortunate." Liath casually stated, ripping off a strip of his shirt, and pressing firmly it to his face.
  14. Hold on, how did I not know about this? Well, I guess that doesn't really matter. Hey Hazimie, is it too late for me to join this little group of yours. I'd love having a better idea of my RP strengths and weaknesses.
  15. Robert Robert stood quietly in the snow, staring the the psychopath before them. As he did, previously gained memories of his time in the experiment flashed through his mind. This was Sylar, the man who killed one of his friends in cold blood, and tried to kill him as well. He considered asking Sylar if anyone else from the experiment was here, but then he looked into his eyes. This was a man to whom reason and compassion meant nothing, one who only cared for death and power. This was a man who needed to be put down... somehow. He pulled out his bo staff, and knelt low to the ground. With everyone else attacking, he would only get in the way if he attacked now. But if he waited for the right opportunity, perhaps then he'd be able to help bring Sylar down. Blank Blank stood among the trees, just out of sight of the meadow group. He turned towards the others, "I will distract the group head on. Once I have their full attention, feel free to do as you wish with them." Blank casually walked out of his hiding spot, and towards the group, and addressed them, "Hello meadow group, are you all enjoying the games?"
