Sora knows that Kairi can fight when he saw her fighting the Heartless with Riku. The real question is how is he gonna take it when he finds out that she is gonna be one of the seven lights to fight the thirteen darknesses.

The only way this could work, is if Sora has learned to use the Keyblade Glider, so he could fight the mechanical shark and another enemy that I don't want to reveal for anyone who hasn't seen it yet and don't want me to spoil the end for them. Those of you who have seen the movie know what "figure" I'm speaking of.
