#1136596 A Final Fantasy that exceeds Final Fantasy VII

Posted by Isamu_Kuno on 13 June 2013 - 10:22 PM

When Wada said: FF7’s remake will have to wait until we make a FF that exceeds FF7...

Nomura said: Challenge accepted.

That was code for "There will never, ever, be a FFVII remake. So tough shit." Because they know that, no matter how amazing any future FF games are, they will never be able to cut through the glare of the VII fanboys nostalgia-colored glasses. Even if, objectively speaking, they beat it in every single category.

No, not really. Their reactions aren't funny to me, simply annoying.

That the entire KH fanbase is getting butthurt that KHIII is going to be multiplat on the Xbox One? Because I'm finding it funny seeing everyone's reaction to that XD.

#1135520 Reasons to why KH3 should be on Wii U too

I'm gonna assume you only have a Wii U right now.

#1135576 How christians brainwash kids with creationism

Posted by Flaming Lea on 13 June 2013 - 11:40 AM

Woah, calm down, I'm not starting shitstorms. I didn't even disrespect anyone. All I said was that god isn't real and that people shouldn't use a book as an excuse. Calm down. Geez! Woah!

I agree.. This needs a lock. I say ONE thing and immediately people think I'm starting shitstorms.. Please lock this.

Look at your original post and then tell me you weren't disrespectful. You can believe what you want just don't be so rude about how you go about it . There is a difference.

#1135560 How christians brainwash kids with creationism

Posted by Flaming Lea on 13 June 2013 - 11:33 AM

Truth? All I heard was ''BECAUSE ITS NOT IN THE BIBLE'', nothing else. It's a goddamn book that a person wrote and people somehow started to believe that goddamn book tells the 100% truth even though it doesn't make sense, and they started to use it for excuses?

Let me just say that I hate religion and anything that has to do with it. It is brainwashing. You're forcing kids to think differently, instead of allowing them to think what they want to think, like that guy did. ''God'', or as I like to say it, ''a fairy that lives in the clouds'', does not exist just because a stupid book says so. We might as well say that Voldemort is real and everything else in Hogwarts. This is brainwashing and it's TERRIFYING. I just couldn't even finish watching the video, I was horrified.

First off, it's people like you that start shitstorms because since YOU believe there is no God that no one else has the right . If parents have a belief and want to teach their kids they can and will do it .That's not necessarily brainwashing . I know a lot of people raised to believe one faith but as they got older made up their own minds about what they think..It's quite common . Yes there are a few 'cults' and radicals of many beliefs that try to force their beliefs and brainwash but that does NOT account for everyone who believes in whatever faith as a whole .Yes it's wrong . Even the bible teaches of 'free will'. As much as you say there is no proof that there is a God , there also certainly is no proof that He doesn't exist either .While you don't have to believe there is one you certainly have no right to disrespect those who do.

#1133674 The "I'm Kinda Nervous that Osaka is Developing This" Fanclub

Posted by Nathan Hatton on 12 June 2013 - 12:21 AM

Your points aren't necessarily wrong, but I think you are over worrying. Osaka is experienced and I have no idea where you read Nomura was not involved but thats a big lie. He is the creator of the game and director of the game. Every final decision is his.

- Also BBS and 3D were on handhelds, each with limitations to game size. Granted, the 3DS presents games at around the same quality as PS2 and PSP isnt far off, they storage size for a UMD and 3DS cartridge is significantly smaller than that of a PS2 dvd. KH3D is on a 4 GB 3DS cartridge and I don't know the size of UMD's but it is smaller than that.

Yet look at what Osaka did, despite these limitations.

- BBS has 3 story lines. 3 STORYLINES!!!! Each with around 15 hours of playtime. Imagine if it had only been one character, what they could have done, but Nomura wanted all 3 characters playable and that was the approach he chose. It also introduced multiplayer, a first in the series and those capabilities surely took up some space. And the command forms were awesome! I loved leveling up and unlocking new possible forms throughout the game.

- 3D features gigantic worlds, larger than any we had seen before in a KH game. They had unbelievable vertical depth as well as large open settings. Previous KH games were limited to maybe one large area per world. It also featured dream eaters, which there are around 50 different ones. Now double that because of spirits and nightmares. Thats over double the normal amount of enemies in a KH game. BBS only had about 30 different unversed. Plus the entire interface of bonding with dream eaters.

At first glance you may want to brush off their work but when you look deep into the details of what they accomplished under the limitations they had, they made some truly astounding progress with the series and have also made the only 2 games to actually progress the story line further since KH2.

- Now you can complain that you want the other team to develop KH3, and nobody has said they wont help, but for now, they are locked up with FF 15 and have been for 7 years. Nomura isnt going to let them move on to something else until FF 15 is done.

Now look ahead to what they have to work with on PS4 and Xbox One:

- 50 GB blu ray discs

- lightning fast processors

- 8 GB of RAM (though significantly faster RAM in the PS4 and pretty cheap RAM in the Xbox)

- High powered graphics cards.

and MUCH MUCH more

I personally believe KH3 will be the best KH yet, because with Nomura at the helm its gonna be epic no matter who develops it. Osaka's gonna do great.

I agree with bullets 1,2, 3 and 5 definitely.KH1 had Disney chars that were actually into the story(ex.Triton telling Sora the key bearer must not meddle in the affairs of other worlds, the evil Disney villain syndicate.)In KH2 the final fantasy chars helping Sora after Goofy seemingly died. Also as annoying as Donald and Goofy were in Kh1 and 2(dying),I actually miss the" all for one and one for all" trifecta that was the dream team.If Kairi will be a better keyblade wielder, make her as important as she was in KH1.Not saying I do not like the Osaka team.Their gameplay is phenominal, but lets go back to KH2's gameplay formula, with a KH1-depth story, with a dream drop distance twist.Character change should definitely make a return.Maybe play as riku, kairi, former keyblade wielders.

Nomura stated earlier that the gameplay and battle system would be an evolved version of KH2's system with features added in from the various handheld titles. Command forms could come into play as well as flow motion (sora did jump off walls in the teaser)

#1133589 Which will you buy?

I already own a Wii U but I plan on getting the PS4 at launch . Making KH multi-platform is a great business move regardless of the butthurt .

#1131975 What's With All This Whining?

Posted by Tails on 11 June 2013 - 12:44 PM

Seriously, why is everyone here freaking out about it being on Xbox One and making a big deal out of it? Okay so it's on the Xbox One...SO WHAT? I say more power to Microsoft because they could use some good games other than Halo and Gears of War. Plus, do you guys not realize that this can help Square-Enix gain more sales and a bigger fanbase? Jeez, first people are complaining about it being on the PS4 all because they "can't afford it" now everyone's compaining about it being on a system they'll never want to buy. Seriously, if you don't want KH on the Xbox so much then don't bother buying the Xbox One
