Personally, I think KH3 will be released on PS3 AND PS4! It will serve as the conclusion of the Xehanort saga (and the end of KH on PS3) yet also as the bridge to a new saga (and the beginning of KH on PS4)

Here's why:

- Nomura said he wants to release a KH game every year. 

--- 2013: KH HD 1.5

--- 2014: (presumably) KH HD 2.5

--- 2015: ???? --> My guess is KH3

Now my reasoning for the timeline:

-- Some people think KH X [chi] will be released in 2015 and KH3 in 2016. THAT"S SILLY!! KH X [chi] is already out in beta in Japan and should be out in beta in other countries around the respective releases of KH HD 1.5.

-- Some people think that BBS Vol. 2 will be released in 2015 and KH3 in 2016. Possible, yet Nomura already said they had no intentions of releasing bbs vol. 2 and also that KH3 should come next.

-- 2015 is the last "official" Sony supported year for the PS3 (as of right now). It would not surprise me if they allowed the system to go out with a bang with a game like KH3. 

Of course, this is my own personal speculation. It could be right, it's probably wrong! Haha, it just seems reasonable to me. 

I could see them releasing it on Wii U eventually or at least the second collection. But I highly doubt that it will ever be on Xbox. it never has been. Why start now? It is well established on Nintendo and Sony systems.

3. (if different ones are available) which one is the best

well they used older voices in khRE:COM and sora was the same age as kh1 

Yeah they did, but I don't see that as a problem because it does take place after KH1. No, it technically doesnt fit the body anymore, and it is a sudden voice change, but  I know personally, my voice changed suddenly. there was no cracking, it was just lower. So it doesnt really bother me. I am just so nostalgic towards the first game's voices, I think it would be bad if they revoiced it. Some games it works, some it does not. I think KH1 would not work. Considering this is supposed to be bringing back the original, they updated the music because the system is capable of live music sounds now, but the original voices made the game what it was. They have such an emotion in them that specifically Haley Joel would not be able to replicate with his current voice. It would portray a slightly different emotion.  

This is my favorite scene in all of KH1. The emotion in sora's voice is so perfect and it fits him as a child after everything he has been through. Changing it would change the whole game.

That is is his voice. It's the original younger (pre-voice change) haley joel osment. Thank god they kept it.

The KH1 voices............nooooooooooo!

The KH1 voices are awesome. They fit the characters. Older sora voice wouldnt make sense in it because sora IS ACTUALLY younger in KH1. It makes sense in the others because he is older or data sora. Interestingly though, they are keeping Billy Zane's voice.

Nah....I'm positive it'll be out for ps3 and ps4....the ps4 will only be 3 years old by then and most people won't switch to ps4 for at least 3 or 4 years due to the high price but it could be sooner....also ps2 games didnt stop coming out til 2 years, maybe 3, after the ps3 came out

So I expect we'll see something similar to that

Yeah you are totally right, some ps2 games were still coming out in 2011. mainly sports and movie games, but they were still coming out. Sony already guaranteed PS3 support through 2015 minimum. So I agree it should definitely be out on both PS3 and PS4.

It's looking nigh impossible to me. "Clear the game without using the Continue option"? On Re:CoM? Nice job there, Square.

it means you have to start from last save instead of using continue. Just make sure to save before big things.

I think the hardest ones will be the speed run and the not changing equipment. Hopefully you can still add accessories for the equipment one, because the original keyblade/shield/staff are all pretty horrible.

Everything else just seems really time consuming. But it's a good thing I can play KH for hours and never get tired.

Change your title. Looks like you're talking about the system. I read it and thought "what kind of idiot analyst is this?!" then once I read the post understood you meant games.

This 358/2 Days Theatre is not a movie. It is just like a Theatre Mode except you've already unlocked it and you get trophies just for watching them.

Um I never said it IS a movie I said it is LIKE a movie. And im not wrong, IT IS. its the 25 or so original cutscenes plus the rest of the story put into cutscenes that come out to being between 2 1/2 and 3 hours long. They are also in a format where you can watch them straight through (like a movie) or you can choose individual scenes (like on a dvd). yes it is unlocked at the beginning. Yes it is in "theater mode" but that doesnt change the fact that it's nearly 3 hours long and is supposed be more connected like a movie.

This was hard for me.... I love KH but since FF XIII-3 is new, I would be inclined to play it first. BUT, since I have not yet finished even the first FFXIII, and probably wont until the summer, I went with KH. Now if I finish both XIII games before it, and they were released on the same day, I would play XIII-3 first

Hopefully there are pre-order bonuses. In that case, I will pick wherever offers the best bonus to pre-order from. So i had to choose other (undecided, really) for now.

I liked flowmotion and the bigger maps, but the worlds felt generally empty. IMO, the game would have been much better if there were more NPCs to talk to.

I don't think more NPC's would have fit well with the dream world setting though. Think about your dreams, how many of them do you actually talk to people? Not much outside the select few important people in your dream, which is illustrated well in 3D, where you have your main story people, but besides them, you dont interact with other people.
