The mobile game was totally important to the storyline! D: It let Maleficent be the "main" bad guy one last time.  I like to think it was apart of her motivation for her dumb revenge plot in KH2 LOL.

Wild animals like these can be trained but never fully domesticated.  Especially with wild cats like tigers, they can be unpredictable.  Other owners and animal keepers have been killed or nearly so from tigers.  They are wonderful creatures, but not meant to cohabitate with humans.

 

Another problem with having tigers as pets is how expensive it is.  It's easily over 100k a year to keep them.  Owners end up abandoning them because of this.  It's only been in the last decade or so that reserves have been made for abandoned wild animals but, if the trend increases, who knows if they will be able to accommodate so many animals.

That's actually a common misconception, tigers are not domesticated animals. Oishii made a very good point that they can be unpredictable. However, can they grow up to like/trust certain people? Yeah, Kevin Richardson (he works with lions and hyenas) is a prime example of that. But even people like him are super weary and if they are working directly with wild animals, are always super careful. They never take these situation lightly. The reality is the only truly "domesticated" animals are ones that have been raised by humans for thousands of years (ie, dogs, cows, pigs...I would say cats but even experts say they aren't fully domesticated XD). And that tiger could outright attack him over a number things--territory, food, aggression...existing. I get that a lot with the tigers I work with (I do not work with them hands on though). T_T They are offended by the fact I am standing in their vision XD.

I had no idea that they couldn't fully be domesticated, my bad on that XD I can see why a tiger would be dangerous though, I mean, just look at the size of it. But it is pretty cool that the guy sorta made "friends" with him/her, seeing as it's purring or something. Just hope that dude doesn't get hurt or anything, that wouldn't be the best.

I think Donald secretly still carries a grudge against Sora since that Deep Jungle incident.  He's 'pretending' to be weak in order to kill Sora.

One of my uncle's friends had a tiger years ago. It was huge but I have to admit it was very, very dangerous.

 

O_O This is not cute. THIS IS DANGEROUS. That man is seriously putting everyone in danger by doing this. O_O Tigers can be kind to people they like/trust but they could become dangerous when you least expect. Trust me. I have first hand experience.  But you don't need that too see that this is BAD. You just need common sense which he clearly has NONE of.

This topic right here is the thing that angers me most. Not only that people think that way, but because they can't help it. Nomura made them think that way about her, because he failed to broaden her character.

In the first title, she was extremely important to the plot. Like, the character that was always in our head, with us thinking to ourselves, "Where the hell is this girl? Why does she keep popping up out of nowhere to Sora but is invisible to everyone else?" I know I couldn't get her out of my head, simply because she was so important to Sora and Riku, and she was essential to the story, whether she was a Princess or not.

CoM, important to the plot, but kind of hidden behind Namine. That was where the downfall began.

Days, was Xion's base, essentially. Sora's memories of Kairi were so important they became a different person/Nobody/replica. Little mention, important, but still hidden.

In Birth By Sleep I was actually very surprised to see her. I knew that we would see Sora and Riku as little ones, but I figured that Kairi had gotten so little screen time previously that she wouldn't get any at all this time around. Wrong, but for excellent reason. You finally understood why she could wield the Keyblade in KH2. And the fact that she established a connection to Aqua gave her some points; Aqua is a kickass woman, and a Master, so it gave hope that she could follow in the same footsteps.

Now onto Kingdom Hearts 2, where things got worse. She is seen having a connection to Roxas through Namine, which is interesting, because it means that she can connect to others through her heart, and can actually speak with them in real time. Sora, especially. (Could that be a potential factor in KH3? They do mention their hearts are connected...Hm.) But then we don't see her for a long time, depending on how many hours it takes you to get to the point where Axel scares her off. When she ran through the portal, I thought to myself, "Oh? Is she gonna go kick some ass now?" But nope, not a damn thing. She only got kidnapped again, with a minute of screen time at best. She became "the fire that feeds Sora's anger," which meant that she was simply a plot device and nothing more. It was almost too cliche for my tastes; the hero has to save the girl, and that's what their relationship is really based off of. It was cute, but it pissed me off to no end. Why would Square stoop that low? Why would they have to the whole Princess-must-be-damsel-in-distress thing? I mean, they did switch it up when Sora didn't actually save her and Namine helped her out, but it was still a little lazy on their part.

She turned things around, though, when she got the Keyblade and managed to defeat some Heartless, and then said that she, Sora, and Riku wouldn't be separated again. It gave me hope that her character would finally be established, but then DDD came along and they completely shut her out. Until the end, at least. Which gives me some hope that they'll finally finally finally develop her character.

Apart from the fail summary as far as Kairi's character goes, what I'm trying to say is that it's not her fault. So why are people hating on her when they should be hating on the developers or Nomura? He came up with the story, so why doesn't he broaden her character? He can do more with her PoH side than have her be a damsel or "dainty" and "useless." Make her an awesome mage or something! Let her put her powers to work! There has to be a lot about her heart that we don't know!

And another thing... Where is the so-called "love" that she and Sora share for each other? If you're gonna develop her character and not take the fighting route, why not establish the romance between her and Sora? I'm so curious as to where they could take that. We got somewhere when they hugged in KH2. GIMME A KISS DAMMIT.

Sigh. I'm done now.

I just watched the video and was about to make a topic, but then I saw this! I am so glad that he is coming back. I can't wait! The episode was funny, and the announcement was awesome! I'm hyped up for the new Nostalgia Critic! (It's supposed to come out on February 5th) I didn't know that there was any other fans on here!
