#1939608 Dead Men Tell No Tales -- Trailers and General Discussion

Posted by Riku21Terr on 21 April 2017 - 03:17 AM

Indeed, that's gonna be one of the big selling points of the film! :D

Ah, that's a splendid relief! This gives me great happiness, cuz that means there'd still be 2 more films to go before we say goodbye to the pirate's life for good! :D

I wonder just how epic a beginning this new trilogy will have in Dead Men Tell No Tales? :O

If you've seen a recent forum post, there is another (similarly) big selling point too :)

Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, as you all now, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is soon approaching, and I cannot wait to see this film! Sadly, apparently it's going to be the last film of the franchise! But well, let's hope it goes out swinging! Here's a new TV spot! :D

WILL TURNER!!!!! :D

One of the directors Joachim Ronning has stated that it is only the beginning of the end; they are planing a new trilogy and have soap opera star Michelle Keegan in talks for a 6th film :)

#1935430 Questions about Unchained X/UnionX Cross

Posted by Riku21Terr on 27 March 2017 - 01:25 AM

You get Unchained X app from Google Play Store (Android Devices) and Apple Store (Apple Devices). Unchained X will change into Union X[Cross], somewhere in April. It's free to download, but there are some parts of the game that requires you to buy jewels in order to do VIPs or just get a lot of jewels to pull. But you really don't have to spend money as you play, if you want to that is. Saving up jewels as your doing quests, events, and specials, and logging in daily is the best way to go.

In the game, there are Attack Medals, Buff Medals, and Support Medals.

Attack Medals are for attacking and using its Special Attack. You can only hold 5 medals.

Buff Medals are for buffing up your strength and defense, debuffing your opponent's strength and defense, and replenishing your Special Attack Gauge.

Support Medals are for leveling up, evolving, boosting, lowering the cost, and adding in Skills for your medals.

Avatars Customization: You can get yourself some outfits by leveling up, buying premium outfits, Monthly Coliseums, and by certain events that has Avatar Boards. There are some outfits that has "Perks".

Keyblades: You upgrade Keyblades by farming up materials as you're doing quests. There are some materials that you will have to obtain through "Specials".

As far as medals like Moana is concerned, you wont be able to get Moana since she's an event medal. Unless otherwise, Square Enix makes it possible for  us to obtain old Event Medals in these Medal Deals.

Other than Android Smartphones and IPhones, I think you can play it on an Android Tablet or the IPad. Emulation, I don't know.

If anyone could please let me know if there is a way to emulate Unchained/Union X Cross on a Macbook Air it would be gratefully appreciated :) I already tried Bluestacks and it didn't seem to be able to load the app :(

UX is free to play, and you can obtain medals through story levels and free events. You can gain in-game currency (jewels) every day through log in bonuses, events, and every 5 story levels, so no need to spend real money!

However, there are some VIP exclusive medal events. Like Beauty and the Beast. You don't spend money to buy the medals, but you spend money to purchase more jewels, which unlocks the VIP Events.

You can emulate KHUX on a PC, but I'm not exactly sure how.

Sorry if this didn't answer enough! Quote this if you have more questions.

#1917767 I got a lot out of Girl Meets World

Posted by Riku21Terr on 15 January 2017 - 01:16 AM

With a combination of Girl Meets World and other shows (including other resources) I would not have my life back on track to the overall happiness and satisfaction that I have with it now. This show in particular has helped me get through a lot of difficult things that I am currently dealing with in my life, including helping me out of a Great Depression that I have been suffering through over the last 10 years. How this show has helped me is through its honest portrayal not only in its subject matter, but how it presents itself overall. It presents itself as it is, not afraid to hold back or pretend to be something that it is not, while still having a strong connection to an audience that helps them care about it and its subject matter.

With all of this, Girl Meets World has produced some of the best writing and overall execution and presentation that I have ever seen in a work of fiction. It cannot end while it still has many more stories to tell, as with the characters getting older, the show will be able to have an even stronger connection and poignancy to an audience, when it can already be just as meaningful, let alone enjoyable to anyone who watches it, regardless of appropriate age difference from the characters and even target audience.

If anyone reading this could please sign & share the following petition as well as do whatever they could to help keep it going, it would be gratefully appreciated : https://www.change.o...form-abc-family :)

Mizu actually looks like Willa Holland (Aqua's English VA) mom, Darnell DePalma:https://twitter.com/darnelldepalma1. It also helps that Aqua looks like Willa too (especially in 2.8)

#1782317 Ant-Man (Marvel movie)

Posted by Riku21Terr on 16 February 2016 - 01:23 PM

Nice!  I'm glad you liked the movie!  Was definitely something!  They even mentioned the webhead, if you pay attention near the end!  It's a nice little reference hidden in there, ya know? :D  But yeah, I thought the movie was great!  Definitely a great MCU flick! :D

But well, even though that movie was great, you know which one's gonna be even greater!? My movie!  It comes out in just 9 days!  Heh, my movie's gonna be so great, it's gonna eclipse all those other movies!  They'll be old news by the time I come around!  After all, my story's a different superhero story! ;)

Buddy just also wanted to say that I LOVED your movie. Like Ant-Man here, it had great charming humour and equally charming references to your fellow superhero culture (including your fellow X-Men movies) LOVED your post credits scene too...

#1780516 Harry Potter and the Cursed Child book

Posted by Riku21Terr on 11 February 2016 - 05:15 PM

Coming July 31 2016!!!!!!!!! :)

From https://www.pottermo...ok-announcement

Big things are coming this year from the Wizarding World, including the Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book of new stage play ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II'.
A host of new print and digital publishing has been announced from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, including a Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book of new stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II.

Print and digital editions will publish simultaneously after the play’s world premiere this summer, and will comprise of the version of the play script at the time of the play’s preview performances.

Theatre previews allow the creative team the chance to rehearse and explore scenes further before a production’s official opening night. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opens for previews several weeks before its official first performance on Saturday 30 July and the Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book will later be replaced by a Definitive Collector’s Edition.

Pottermore will bring you further updates on the Definitive Collector’s Edition as we learn more.

Readers and moviegoers last saw Harry waving off his children at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, in the epilogue to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up after that moment and is staged in two parts, due to the ‘epic nature of the story’.

The play opens in London’s West End this summer, based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. It is officially the eighth story in Harry Potter canon and a new play by Jack Thorne.

Interest in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child from Wizarding World fandom has been massive, and now Potter fans across the globe will be able to join Harry, Ron and Hermione on the next stage of their journey.

Jamie Parker, who originated the role of Scripps in The History Boys, has been cast as Harry. He is joined by Olivier Award-winning actress Noma Dumezweni as Hermione and theatre, film and TV actor Paul Thornley as Ron.

For J.K. Rowling’s devoted readers 2017 is also a momentous year, as it marks the twentieth anniversary of the UK publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Next year will see the publication of four special editions of the first book in the UK, one for each of the four Hogwarts houses. There will also be a brand new edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2017, with new content by J.K. Rowling, as well as new formats and editions of the Hogwarts Library books – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.

Pottermore doesn’t play favourites, but we’re especially looking forward to nabbing a copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets illustrated by Jim Kay. That’s coming a little sooner, in October 2016, and we’ll be prodding Jim for a look at his latest work soon because we’re nosy like that.

#1778499 Most anticipated movies of 2016

Posted by Riku21Terr on 05 February 2016 - 02:55 PM

Since I did a list of most anticipated TV shows, I thought I would also list and ask your guys’ top 5 most anticipated movies for this year, 2016, with an explanation as to why.

I will start by giving an honourable mention to my buddy’s movie coming out in a week (in North America anyways):

Deadpool

Release dates: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_ov_inf

Probably the craziest movie I will ever see, and as such it has no specific place on my list. I am a fan of the character, the metahumor, and the series, but I am not a fan of the swearing, and most especially not the sexual content. And I am 23 years old. I am still looking forward to the movie for its unique style and the things that I liked mentioned above.

1) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Release dates: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_ov_inf

Harry Potter spin off that expands more on the wizarding world! For the first time, we Harry Potter fans do not really have to compare it to a book, and can just enjoy it as a general movie! It is also from the director of one of the best Harry Potter movies, Deathly Hallows Part 1! Although I have been mixed towards his other 3 Harry Potter movies, his overall style has proven that he will do more good than bad with it. Just as long as he gives us lots of magical creatures and gives the best execution that there can be with it, then the movie should be “fantastic” :)

2)Finding Dory

Release dates: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_ov_inf

Next to Toy Story 4, it is probably my most anticipated Pixar sequel. Very excited to see what happens next in their world! As long as Pixar does not take things too far, and remembers the essence of who they are and what makes their movies great, then the movie should be fine!

 3) The Divergent Series: Allegiant

 Release dates: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_ov_inf

This 3rd Divergent movie looks like it could potentially be the best in the series yet! The movie will fundamentally expand on concepts of topian futures adding on some interesting science fiction elements not previously explored in the genre. It will also continue to dive into the depth of poignant character development that the series is so adept with. Plus, leading actress Shailene Woodely has never looked more beautiful!

4) Captain America: Civil War

 Release dates: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_ov_inf

AKA The Avengers: Civil War as all but two of the Avengers (Thor and Hulk) will be in the movie, plus Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Spider-Man, the latter two being my two favorite superheroes! On that note, this movie would have been ranked higher on my list had Andrew Garfield remained as Spider-Man. Most people should realize that had he stayed on they would have been able to follow the comic book storyline of Civil War more closely, as it would have tied in greatly with the Amazing Spider-Man series to have him reveal his identity after all the trauma with Gwen, Harry, his parents and the new drama within Civil War itself. While I can understand why they had to reboot Spidey AGAIN, it still feels like a greatly missed opportunity. Still, its from the directors of one of Marvel’s best movies ever, Winter Solider, and as noted, continues however slightly off of their another of their best movies ever, Ant-Man.

5) X-Men Apocalypse

Release dates: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_ov_inf

Should be very interesting to see where they go with this film, with the inclusion of younger versions of the X-Men characters that we know and love from the previous movies (including the much awaited return of Nightcrawler!). The addition of new characters and promised “disaster movie”-like action not seen in the previous movies should also be neat to see.

#1778034 Ant-Man (Marvel movie)

Posted by Riku21Terr on 03 February 2016 - 09:32 PM

Nice!  I'm glad you liked the movie!  Was definitely something!  They even mentioned the webhead, if you pay attention near the end!  It's a nice little reference hidden in there, ya know? :D  But yeah, I thought the movie was great!  Definitely a great MCU flick! :D

Yes I did catch the reference to the We head, knew about it long before I saw the movie in actuality. Now my two favourite superheroes (both based off of bugs) will be in the same movie together in 3 months! Unfortunately, no Andrew Garfield in the role :( :( :( but there is at least fan editing and Tom Holland kinda looks and acts like Garfield so in my mind it loosely connects to the two ASM movies. By the way, most people should realize that HAD Garfield stayed in the role, they would have been able to follow the comic book version of Civil War much closely as it would have fit very well with Spidey revealing who he is to the public.
