#1939564 X-Dimensions (The Roleplay)

"What?!" Gray exclaimed upset. He walked up to Franky and glared at him. "I'm not a freak or pervert! So don't compare me with yourself!" Just then Gray realised that he wasn't wearing any pants anymore, only his shorts. "Ahh! Damn it, not again!" His face flushed as he quickly searched for his pants that were lying a few meters behind him.

Franky stopped posing and dancing to exclaim at Gray, "You're a damn liar! Look at ya, trying to get people to notice you by taking off your pants! You're not even being up front with it!" Franky started dancing around Gray. "A pervert with no pride is no pervert at all! SUUUUPEEEEER!"

"More waiting? Ugh... how boring... I just want the battles to begin." Luffy said and walked up to a wall, sitting down on the ground. "Franky! Wake me up when the first battle begins!" He shouted to Franky and not even 5 seconds later has already fallen asleep, loudly snoring.

Franky sighed. "Yeah, that figures. Selective attention span as always."

Gray on the other hand was silently observing his opponents, knowing that it won't be an easy battle.

Franky eyed Gray. I know that Luffy and the Saiya-kid are packin', but I still don't know what kind of tricks that wanna-be perv magician has up his sleeves. All I know is that he thinks that he's a better perv than me, he's SUPER wrong!!

I sure hope the Hippo-like pet of Wapol and the huge crab that walked sidewards are included in the less than 50...

Of course they are, that'd be like forgetting characters as crucial as Shelly or those four Alabastian guards that drank that steroid water and got stomped like five minutes after.

#1939533 Huey, Dewey, & Louie open an ice cream shop, which type do you buy?

Posted by Firaga Sensei on 20 April 2017 - 04:03 PM

I'm a sucker for both Goofy and parfaits so my answer should be obvious.

Still, we need more crazy/character-themed ice cream flavors to choose from in KH3. xD

I choose Riku because of course I choose Riku. xD

Also guys, Part 5 anime when? I follow this tumblr page that's dedicated soley to "Was Part 5 announced today?"

Well, consider this:

The first season (PB/BT) of the anime ran from 2012-2013, specifically ending in April. About a year later in 2014, the second season (SC) aired and ended in 2015. Then, the third season started in 2016, running from April to December.

Seems like April is a preferred time for David Productions to air the show, and since we're already halfway through April, either they'll start later or wait until 2018.

Well, since this is one of, like, two other current running anime that's airing that I manage to keep up with, might as well lend my voice here. xD

Originally, I was introduced to the series when I was told to check out the manga. I ended up reading the first volume, but after that, I started the first season of the anime and decided that it would be easier for me to stick with that. No offense to the manga but it's just easier to consume a weekly anime series than it is catching up with a 100+ chapter manga. I already have enough on my plate both anime/manga wise anyway so it's best to keep the load light.

Anyways: the first season was a good start. I wasn't really on board as everybody else, although I think that's just an effect of being introduced to the series solely through the anime (sans what I already read in manga volume 1) while everybody else who's already a hardcore fan is pissing themselves just over the fact that things are being animated. xD Still, I liked what I saw, but I wouldn't say I loved it.

The set-up as a whole isn't very complex, at least not as far as I'm seeing. It's a typical underdog story with a milquetoast protagonist with allies and rivals and mentors and villains and superpowers and overcoming obstacles and all that schtick. And all the basic morals and conflicts (again, so far, don't start giving me manga spoilers, I'm anime-only) are there and are played really serious and cheesy for the most part, though I suspect that's part of the superhero gimmick, which I do enjoy to a certain extent regardless. I am a fan of Marvel, DC, and other superhero properties after all.

Now, as I mentioned, I started the second season, so now I'll dive into spoiler territory and discuss some overall thoughts on the first three episodes:

Oh! Umm... *a world tournament employee informs me* Uh huh...Right...Oh...I see...How awful....

It seems that the World Champion is fighting with a stomach pain problem, so he won't be in any condition to fight. But he will be a guest commentator for the World Tournament itself. I guess he still needs a little break since he is The One that defeated Cell.

Oh yeah, this is still post-Cell Games era DragonBall. Well, that's perfectly fine then! The Champ deserves a break. I was scared to have Boruto and Franky fight him anyway. I mean, I know I'm controlling a ninja and a cyborg, but if I had either of them go one-on-one with Satan, then I just don't know how they'd survive it.

Also, I drew up some brackets in Word for fun:

#1938977 What would a Kingdom Hearts holiday be called?

Posted by Firaga Sensei on 16 April 2017 - 06:46 PM

Yeah, those chocolate eggs will really burn you out.

OT: Nortmas sounds delightful. xD

On the day before Nortmas"

And all through the worlds...

Not a creature was stirring...

Except Xehanort, peeping on sleeping boys and girls...

The Keybaldes were hung from the chimney with car

In hopes they would help kick that snooping Xehanort's derriere

The children were all nestled all snug in their beds

But alas, Xehanort got inside one anyway, a strapping lad named Fred...

Alright fine, geez. *closes book* Last time I volunteer at this shelter...

Also true. That is one disadvantage for some of us. But would you rather go in blindly to provide a good fight or try to pull off a fight even if you know who will win in the end?

In my opinion, I would like to see what we can come up with just to win. But that's just me.

I just don't want anybody to feel like they got jipped.

Finish SC bud, you'll understand why Jotaro stomps.

I was busy for a while and returned to 60 notifications from this thread... This should be fun to figure out. ._.

We're grabbing balls.

... what, that's not out of context, that's what we're doing...

True, very true!

Also, how we do the fights...Let's just do whatever. xD How about we actually make this a competition for us and use our characters' best abilities, intelligence, and fair-play just to see what can happen. I mean, we can still discuss who should win each match here if any of you guys want to. But to me it just sounds fun doing things that are just unexpected and epic!

But I don't wanna lose. ;-;

In all seriousness, people are going to have to willingly write themselves to concede at some point, which kinda sucks from an RP POV, so yeah, that's something to take note of.

#1938844 What's your favorite Easter Egg in Kingdom Hearts?

90% of these were things I was not aware of.

I feel slightly ashamed of myself.
