  1. No anime, manga, jRPG, or movie has ever made me cry for some reason :I. But some the saddest anime overall I've watched is Elfen Lied. Sakamichi no Apollon had some really emotional parts, but doesn't have a sad ending or anything .
  2. Persona 4: The Golden... tomorrow you shall be mine :O

  3. I'd love to see them make a subseries centered around exorcisms and demon-possessions . I'd love to see it on the PS3 also!
  4. The crappy characters, lack of main cast characters from XIII thereof, nonsensical plot that has virtually nothing to do with the first game, bad storytelling, the fact that it's an obvious DLC cash cow, false-advertisement, pointless "Fetch me x" and "Kill X amount of x" """sidequests""", main story can be completed in under 25 hours, and the fact that the game's ending was obviously designed with DLC abusing powers in mind. XIII was a very polished and complete game. XIII-2 was not ....in my opinion
  5. VIII because it was my first, IX because it has simple yet amazing gameplay, and XIII because I loved the cast, story, graphics, and music.
  6. Thanks haha And yes, it is Hanyuu.
  7. The anime was good but ended way too soon. Left me with an empty feeling and I'm sad to know that there most likely won't be a second season. Would've loved to see more Shiro as I liked her and her Japanese VA.
  8. I thought this thread was going to be about discussing Terra's sexiness.
  9. I've found virtually no other anime/jRPG/manga characters whose characters designs resemble the characters of FF IX (and to a lesser extenet-- FF X), while you can find countless anime/jRPG/manga characters who resemble the casts of FF VII, VIII, and XIII both appearance-wise AND personality-wise. Don't even get me started on Versus and Type-0 where there is virtually NO creativity when it comes to character design. That being said, the overall art design makes playing the game a truly unique experience, especially when compared to today's standard of jRPG.
  10. While IX is a great game, it's definitely more popular now than it was when it first released. When it first released many people disliked it as they found the character designs too "childish" when compared to VII and VIII. IX is just a game that seems to get better with time, especially when newer FF games can't seem to deliver.
  11. According to Andrisang, CEO Yoichi Wada explained during the company's annual shareholder meeting that it would not remake the legendary RPG until it makes a brand new Final Fantasy game that "exceeds the quality" of Final Fantasy VII. “ If the team were to remake Final Fantasy VII now, then the Final Fantasy franchise "would be done with". In a candid statement, Wada clarified that he feels the current slew of titles in the franchise have not surpassed their popular predecessor in terms of quality. He stressed that while they hopefully would manage this in future, if the team were to remake Final Fantasy VII before this was achieved, then the Final Fantasy franchise "would be done with". This revelation comes hot on the heels of statements by Tetsuya Nomura, who recently admitted that a remake wasn't a priority. He also suggested that the current batch of titles would need to be improved before the company cast its gaze backwards, saying "The new Final Fantasy must overcome the Final Fantasy of the past.” It looks like for now we're just going to have to hope that rumours about an updated Steam version of the game being released are true, and that Final Fantasy XV is the game we've all been waiting for from Square Enix. If you've forgotten why this talk of a remake started, check out the tech demo for the PS3 below, which shows Cloud, Aerith and the bustling streets of Midgar in High Definition. Source: http://www.ign.com/a...tasy-vii-remake My thoughts: Hahahahahha. What they're basically saying: "We won't remake VII until we create another game that's even MORE popular/ground-breaking!" *looks at X-2, XII, XIII, and XIII-2* Yeah, I don't think that's happening any time soon.
  12. I already own FES and P3P, but this is still great news for those who have never played FES .
