the idea behind rebooting the series in this way is a great idea to help unify all the fans who haven't played all the games, and to help introduce new fans... they just should have done it a few years ago ;P

square has always been better at making movies/cutscenes as opposed to the gameplay... just look at FFVII advent children. it was gorgeous!
