#1983328 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

Posted by Isaix on 12 June 2018 - 11:24 PM

I'm also a big Zelda fan, I love that we have so many links. Also, if you go to Sonic's page on the smash site, they snuck knuckles into his video. Knuckles is playable!

Knuckles as a playable character would be awesome, but it could just be an assist trophie

#1983313 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

FINALLY,I'm so excited to see that every character ever will return,in my opinion in fighting games every characters from past enteries should always return in 99% cases. It's like the definitive version of Smash with stages from all the previous games plus new ones.

Also RIDLEY IS NOT TOO BIG!!!!Finally he got in,I'll admit it is a BIT strange to see Ridley so small, but hey if Kirby and Pikachu can be made bigger and Bowser can be small,so can Ridley and in the 1st Metroid Ridley was just as tall as Samus,so he fits perfectly and he looks fun to play.

As a Zelda fan I'm very happy to see Young Link AND Toon Link together,I'm glad that Link has his Breath of the Wild outfit and the green tunic,I hope Toon Link gets his outset outfit, but that's not gonna happen. It's weird that Zelda doesn't have her Breath of the Wild outfit,I understand the reason, but just make it an alternate costume, beside, she does have a blue robe in Botw so why not make that her main costume, but whatever,Link Between Worlds Zelda looks great.I love that they went back to his Oot look, but I wish they changed his moveset entirely, but hey at least he uses the sword now

Day one for me on the Switch

#1981856 In search of some good anime recommendations

Posted by Isaix on 01 June 2018 - 11:09 AM

Yeah, I apologize; I probably should've stated what I liked about these series and what I'm looking for in a new one.  I loved the aforementioned series for their suspense, intrigue, and the way that they make you think.  I also loved the story and (for the most part) their characters.  Pandora Agent would probably be right up my alley, though I'll try to give Bakuman and Eureka Seven a look over as well.  I'm not usually one for Slice of Life, but considering it's written by the creators of Death Note I feel that it might have some potential.  Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks for the suggestions, Key!  I am very impressed by the expansive library of anime that you've watched.  That should earn a medal there. xD

I realize that I should've been a bit more specific in my original post, which I will probably edit to reflect what I liked about each anime and give an example of some genres that I typically dislike.

I've heard of My Hero Academia, though I don't much about it, sad to say.  It sounds like it is well-loved, from what you're sharing, and it might we worth checking into. :). I'm not normally one for Slice of Life and I actually have seen bits and pieces of Your Lie in April, but it sounds like it has a sweet story if looking beyond some of the more slightly cliche moments.  Death Parade sounds very intriguing and very much up my alley--I'll have to check this one out!

Thanks again for taking the time to give some recommendations and to describe each one!  I found this very useful. :)

I looked up both, and they sound quite interesting.  Jyu-Oh-Sei sounds like it has a bit of mythology intertwined, and Ushio to Tora just sounds unique.  Kind of reminding me of Samurai Jack in the way that it's episodic in nature and centralizes on different battles.  Thanks for the recommendations!

I have heard of One Piece and decided to take a quick look at it after you mentioned it, and good gosh, this series is HUGE!  It's on its I think 17th season, each with 32 or so episodes, and has been airing since 1997.  Talk about wow!  As you said, it would definitely keep me busy for a long while, though I'm rather intimidated by its sheer length.  Earth Girl Arjuna sounds like it might be quite interesting.  What is the series on Netflix that you were referring to?  I wonder if it's one that I tried.

All-in-all, thanks for the suggestions!

I really should've elaborated on why I liked the above anime and what I'm looking for in a series.  I apologize for that; I'll probably edit my original post to reflect this.  Essentially I love the deep plots and characterization, as I feel the storytelling can be far better than a lot of Western media.  Action is sometimes nice but I'm not real big on it.  I've seen a bit of Naruto, though couldn't fully immerse myself into it.  I also did try Inuyasha and did like what I had seen of it, especially the fact that it's a real old-school anime.  Maybe I should delve back into that one sometime. :)

Does Code Geass get more involved with its characters over time?  I'm on episode three or four, and I just couldn't feel myself developing a connection with the characters or its story.  Everything felt so impersonal and on the surface.  I'm wondering if I would indeed like it once I get past more episodes, however.  I've heard so much praise for the series, and it does fall into a category that I typically like.  Parasyte sounds very interesting, though definitely creepy (which makes sense, since it's classified as a horror series).  I'll try to give it a go at some point!  Thanks for your suggestions. :)

In Code Gease,I'd say that the 2 main characters are well developped and a few around them, but the rest not so much, but the story is really good,if you like good stories this is a must watch I'd say,it kinda reminded me of Death Note a bit actually

#1969796 Logan Paul is a SICK MAN!

Posted by Isaix on 03 January 2018 - 06:43 PM

I do understand where all the hate is coming from, but I kinda feel bad for him because people are saying a lot of negative things about him. (I can honestly relate) I've heard he apologized, but he STILL got some criticism because he mostly used "I" in his apology. What I'm trying to say his, don't give him more criticism than he needs. I hope he is able to move on from this situation. He should use this experience to learn to not make this mistake again. Yes, making that video made him look selfish and that's most likely the mistake he made and lack of respect.

Yeah I don't think he deserves to lose his Youtube career for this mistake,he can(hopefully)learn from this and be more careful with the next videos he uploads.

I don't know Logan and what kind of videos he usually uploads, but I don't think he's a monster like some people seem to think he is.

I still can't fathom how a human being can see a corpse and get close to it and film it of all things. If I saw that,I'd run away for sure and probably would call the cops.I don't really mind his reactions when he saw the corpse(laughing and making jokes)because people react to death is many different ways and I kind of feel sorry for him a bit because he didn't have bad intentions when he did this, but at the same time, come on dude showing a corpse on Youtube...REALLY? This is what capitalism and greed does to people,he saw that as an opportunity to make money,he wanted the next big vlog that would make him tones of cash so bad that he didn't even realised that what he was doing was wrong, that's messed up.

#1966449 Personal Reception for Infinite's Battle Music from Sonic Forces.

Posted by Isaix on 14 November 2017 - 01:13 PM

He's kinda cool,Liam O'brien does an amazing job with the voice acting like always. He reminds me a bit of Kylo Ren with the whole "putting a mask on to look more intimidating",it's kinda weird how he just leaves at the end of the game,I though he'd show up after Eggman and the Death Egg Robot for a Super Sonic boss fight, but nope he just...leaves

#1965609 What November game(s) are you getting?

Posted by Isaix on 01 November 2017 - 08:48 AM

I was originally really hyped for this month, because I thought Battlefront 2 and Sonic Forces looked awesome, but that November's finally here, and so much more has come out about both games, I'm not really sure anymore.
in my book, Battlefront 2 has potential. I really enjoyed the beta, but I'm still really concerned about lack of content and the game possibly being pay to win, so I plan on waiting a few weeks after launch before even considering buying it.

but in the case of Sonic Forces, I have lost all hope for that game. The custom character looks boring, classic sonic looks stupid, especially after Mania near perfected that style of gameplay, and modern sonic's levels are too linear and are half 2D, thus making classic sonic irrelevant. The story looks bland and uninteresting, and even the music isn't winning me over.
when i dont like the music in a sonic game, that means there's a serious problem.

Yeah I don't know what's the deal with the Sonic Forces soundtrack, with a few exceptions, Sonic games ALWAYS have great soundtracks, but what I've heard so far is very bizzare, the Metal Sonic theme is so weird,I'm not a big fan of techno music and that's all I've heard so far.I haven't much of the soundtrack yet though,so there might be some good themes here and there

Sonic Forces most likely

#1962457 A major criticism that I have with Organazation XIII that I hope will be fixe...

Posted by Isaix on 17 September 2017 - 10:10 PM

Nah I never had that issue,I wish some of them had more screen time sure, especially in 358/2 Days since it's suppose to be the Organization's game, but I don't think every single one of them should have a MAJOR role for KH3 since the organization members are essentially just Xehanort's puppets
