#1973591 Beating Demon Tide Without Taking Damage

Posted by Tails on 13 February 2018 - 03:46 PM

Hello my fellow KH13 members. So I gotta admit, the new KH3 trailers kinda got me motivated to play through KH 0.2 again without taking damage from any of the bosses  all while staying at the base level (which is staying at Level 50) lol. And I recently completed such a challenge (my gosh was the 2nd Darkside fight annoying without taking damage. Stupid spiked orbs >_>.) and thought I'd share my accomplishment with you lovely members of this lovely site, haha :P. But I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised that not much people have uploaded this kind of challenge against Demon Tide. I only found about 3 other people who made a video like that. I'm not sure how many people have done this attempt off screen on their own playthrough but it's nice that I'm one of the few people who pulled it off on YouTube, lol. Only boss fight left is the secret boss fight and then I'm pretty much finished with my no damage run.

So what do you guys think? :D

Nice reaction videos, Transcendent. I think this is the first time I've ever seen your face on a video because I remember you alays wearing that spider-man mask in your previous videos, haha.

#1972197 Dissidia Opera Omnia Is Better Than KHUx

Posted by Tails on 03 February 2018 - 12:48 PM

So for the past few days I've been playing Dissidia FF Opera Omnia and OH my gosh is this game really goid and leaps better than KHUx. It has a HUGE roster of FF characters that's a lot bigger than the PSP Dissidia games and Dissidia NT. And unlike Dissidia NT, Opera Omnia has a more content to offer. Also compared to KHUx, It's very free-to-play friendly. You honestly don't need to spend much money on anything in the game. You can get stuff from quests and events. Seriously. SENA should look at this game and take notes because THIS is how you handle and localize a Japanese phone game.

I know that I am kinda bragging here but It's true. Opera Omnia does things that KHUx should have done. SENA should seriously take notes because I know that the Japanese version of KHUx isn't all too bad with its events compared to the English version's events and deals. I know there are people out there who are really enjoying KHUx for what it is and that's totally fine. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there and give my personal thoughts on Opera Omnia and how it compares to KHUx.

#1972172 Is Dissidia: Final Fantasy Opera Omnia Good?

Posted by Tails on 03 February 2018 - 07:47 AM

Yes Transcendent it is very good. Way better than Dissidia NT. It has a lot more to offer than NT as well. So I definitely recommend downloading it. You won't regret it. I'm actually going to make a thread reviewing and talking about how It's a good game compared to Dissidia NT and Kingdom Hearts Unchained/Union X in so many ways. It's way more free-to-play friendly than Kingdom Hearts Unchained/Union X. A you get get a lot of weapon upgrades without having to spend a single cent mainly by grinding in special events.

#1971847 What Japanese People Think of English Dubbed Anime

Posted by Tails on 30 January 2018 - 04:31 PM

That's the thing with many anime. Sometimes the dub is better than the sub or vice versa. It really all just depends on how well the cast works, ya know?

Exactly. You don't know how much I hate the kinds of people that always says "Sub is better than Dub for anime". I mean sure for some anie the Japanese voices are better but there are anime such as Dragon Ball series,  Kill la Kill, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure that have really good English voice acting. Especially in Dragon Ball Z/Super's case since I highly prefer the English dub over the Japanese one. Not saying that the Japanese voices are bad but the English voices just fits the series more in my opinion. Plus, I hate how some of the characters sound in Japanese lol.

#1971382 So is Anyone Hyped?

Posted by Tails on 24 January 2018 - 12:14 AM

Ooh, I am particularly excited for Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT! As a fan of the Dissidia series, I was psyched up as hell when it was announced that a new entry would be made! I played the hell out of the first two games, particularly Duodecim, so when news of a new entry sprung up, I was reasonably excited! I had read that it would be a reboot of the series, but thankfully, the story seems to be a direct continuation of Duodecim's story, which makes me even more happy! That, and the fact that this will be the first Dissidia game to feature online matches against other people, so it'll be riveting battling against other players around the world with all of these epic Final Fantasy characters! There's supposed to be over 50 characters overall, but the base game will have 28, which makes me think the rest shall be given to us little by little via DLC packs, ya know?  But yes, I wanna get this game badly!

Same here. Dissidia NT is the kind of game I was waiting for when it comes to an HD Dissidia. The character models look nice, the envirenment looks amazing, and the combat looks just as good as it did on both PSP titles of Dissidia. I just wonder if we'll see the rest of the characters that were in FF Duodecim like Kain, Tifa, and Laguna since they brung back Lightning and Vaan.

I'm just waiting for dem Switch ports and a couple of old games tbh

Hopefully Final Fantasy Nomura has a good lineup tho

I honestly am hoping that they port Dragon Ball FighterZ to Switch seeing as they got Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on the Switch. I would gladly double dip on that game with how competitive it is.

#1971356 So is Anyone Hyped?

Posted by Tails on 23 January 2018 - 08:33 PM

So, as everyone is aware, we got some good games coming out this month such as Munster Hunter World, Dragon Ball Fighters, and Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. Are any of you hyped for these games coming out next month?

#1970954 Even Japanese Gamers Want Kingdom Hearts On The Switch

Posted by Tails on 18 January 2018 - 11:47 AM

Hey there, KH fans. It's your favorite two-tailed fox here bringing you another interesting thread :P. So recently Japanese gamers have been given a poll from research site "GooRanking" what kind of games they would like to see be on the Switch. And, as you might have guessed, Kingdom Hearts was among this list of games that they want on the system. If you don't believe me than here's the list so you can see for yourself

21. The new Inazuma Eleven – 34 votes

18. The new Rhythm Heaven – 36 votes
18. The new Dragon Quest Builders – 36 votes
18. The new Megami Tensei – 36 votes
17. The new Grand Theft Auto – 38 votes
16. The new Ace Attorney – 40 votes
15. The new Mario Maker – 48 votes
14. The new Harvest Moon – 51 votes
13. The new Resident Evil – 54 votes
12. The new Ogre Battle – 55 votes
11. The new Earthbound – 57 votes

1. The new Animal Crossing – 214 votes
Here's the link to prove where I got this from as well as to give credit:
So, as you can see, Japanese fans are also interested in seeing a KH game come to the Switch. And, to be honest, seeing this list gets me kind of excited to see if a KH game would come on the Switch. The Nintendo Switch is selling like hot cakes all around the globe that it's very possible that it will pass by the Nintendo Wii in sales. And it's attracting a lot of Japanese game developers and Japanese games. I mean as far as JRPG's go for the Switch we're getting Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (which has recently released), Disgea 5 (Which also released on the Switch and has actually sold a good number of units on the system), Ys VIII, The World Ends With You (with extra story content), Valkyria Chronicles, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (which also released recently on the Switch) and the new "Tales Of" game that's Namco is working on. So honestly, I would LOOOOOOOOVE to see a KH game be on the Switch. Heck, they can downgrade some of the graphics and textures if they have to to fit it on Switch. I don't care because the Switch is such an amazing and unique console that it would be weird to NOT have a KH game on the thing. I mean come on guys, tell me you wouldn't love to play an all new console title KH game on the go. Huh? Huuuuuuuh!? And it would be very interesting too because no KH game has even been on a console Nintendo game before so it would be pretty neat to see a KH game be on one for a change. I mean yeah we had KH games on the handheld Nintendo systems but yeah...the handheld ones...lol. Not saying it's a bad thing or anything. Plus, if the Xbox One is going to be getting KH3 despite not having any previous history with the KH series, why not with the Switch as well. And I can guarantee you that a KH game on the Switch would cause some hype as well some good sales with how much hype the Switch has and the killer library of games it has. Now I know what you're thinking "Oh but Tails Lord Nomura said he wants all the KH games to be on a single console to make it easier for people to follow and understand the series". And to that I say...why not have that KH game be on multiple platforms. I mean come on, we're in an era where a game can be on multiple consoles. So there's my counter argument for that, haha  :P.
But honestly what do you think of this?

#1970187 What Japanese People Think of English Dubbed Anime

Posted by Tails on 08 January 2018 - 09:49 PM

You know, I found this video very interesting, because we always hear about how we think of English Dubs as opposed to the normal Japanese Dubs, so it was cool seeing things from their perspective!  It's normal that they'd prefer Japanese better since they are from that nationality and understand the language, and English feels strange, just as many of us hear Japanese and we go like: "Okay, this sounds off."

I like that when they touched upon Naruto, they didn't feel bothered by the English Dub because they thought it was well in tune with the Japanese Dub! I think that's the reason why the creator of Naruto chose Maile Flanagan to voice the character, since she really captures the spirit of him and sounds like the Japanese counterpart.

I honestly prefer Dubs, though. I only watch anime in Subs when I have no other choice. X3

I completely agree with you on that. I really think it's interesting and cool to see what actual Japanese people think of English Dubbed anime. So I thought I'd share this with the people of this site. And I pretty much watch both Sub and Dubbed anime lol.

So I was watching some YouTube videos and this little video randomly popped up on my recommended list and I must say, I find it interesting what Japanese think of English Dubbed Anime.

#1967556 Mega Man 11 Announcement Trailer

Posted by Tails on 04 December 2017 - 09:14 PM

Hmm, interesting, so Mega Man has been revived, so to speak! But I don't think that fans will forgive Capcom immediately! After all, the cancellation of Mega Man Legends III was something that devastated the fanbase, especially considering that fans themselves were working on the game as well!

Yeah. I remember how excited I was to play MML3 on my 3DS.
