Hello, everyone.  A friend and I have recently had fun with linear equations and this is what resulted.  Everybody loves Enix² (Square Enix), but nobody knew of its numeric value until the release of Final Fantasy XV's release date.  Note that this is purely for fun and not to devalue Square Enix or its games' characters in any way.  They have five of my favourite games, after all.

 

Complete this linear equation and figure out what Square Enix's value is:

 

Sora - Kairi = 0
Kairi - 5Lightning = -2x⁴
Sora + 2Lightning = 500

If Lightning > 100, Crono = 3Kairi, else Crono = 18.
5Crono / Kairi = undefined.

(2Enix / 3)² = 4x²

Enix² = ?

 

Solve for Sora, Lightning, Kairi, Crono, x, Enix, and Enix².

 

If stuck, here's a hint:

 

When A divided by B is undefined, B is zero.

So I take it Sora = Kairi?

Yup yup yup!  They are equal, at least in this case and the number of keyblades wielded.

Me and chrisora2066 did this and came up with these variables;

 

 

 

 

Sora = 0

Kairi = 0

Crono = 18

Lightning = 250

x = 5

Enix = 30

Enix2= 900

 

 

 

So I sort of helped to come up with the names of the variables (not the values) and thought of the first equation, but this got much more advanced as it went on.  Nice work, Vaude!

Crono = 0

Enix =15

Enix²=225

 

The equation that I hated was 2Enix divided by 3 squared, but I think I got it right.
