Since the party I'm in got a couple new players about 2 weeks ago, I decided to start on a beginner's guide to Unchained. Most of it is actually complete, though it's not supposed to be professional or anything, so it's fairly basic. This will be useful for the upcoming English version, but I don't know if there will be a UI overhaul, so it could change when that time comes. I will be updating the guide for that too.

Nice job.

Well written guide.

I'm personally waiting for someone to write a veteran guide of sorts.

Some detailed info with top Medal tiers, which Medals to fully upgrade, which Keyblade to focus on, min-max, etc.

There's some really good info on this board, but the posts are all over and sometimes hidden deep within threads.

There are constantly new medals being added in so there are no "best" medals, except the limited ones. Medals with high guilt are typically better than the rest as well.

Keyblades depend on what you're fighting. They all can be upgraded in the end so it doesn't really matter.

Heh, you did this during the bearpocalypse huh.

Why you wanna terrify the new players like that?

You caught me. ;P

I put it there as a little easter egg and thought it would have been funny.

Oh it is, though I doubt new players would catch it.

Just letting everyone know, since the North American version is coming in three days, that I've included several reference links and the guide is up-to-date with the current Japanese version.

If you have questions when the NA version is out, ask here, or if there's an official help thread, post there instead.

Save your jewels for limited draws. Please. Trust me.

Double posting here, but I've seen a lot of people asking questions that I have answered in the guide. So instead of cluttering the forum with a simple question, you could simply check the guide.

I've been slowly including the changes from the NA version of the game as well. A medal spreadsheet is in the works.
