Life is very strange… It challenges us to all kinds of events. Events of happiness, sadness… Pain and… Peace. As humans we all experience our own hardships. Our own pain. Some suffer from illness, others from abuse and neglect. Some… From themselves.

You are an adolescent in Coldridge Asylum located far upstate New York. You may be there for many different reasons. You could have been there for years, or only hours. All that is certain is that your fellow peers around you are stuck here as well. You may band together with them or against them; your choice.

 

Rules:

Your character must be 5-18 years old

Please create a brand new character for this rp (I obviously don't know if you reuse an OC or whatnot.)

This rp is somewhat of an experiment.

This rp is also meant to be meaningful, so you may have your character to be as personal (or not) as you'd like.

KH13 rules apply.

Romance is PG-13

One character per person.

No God-Modding. You gotta lose sometime!

No killing characters or critically injuring them without permission.

No controlling other characters without permission.

Illness: Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Personality: Rosa is a very sweet innocent young girl. She’s very kind to others however she is also very afraid of those around her. Her anxiety always leaves her afraid of absolutely anything, to the point where it's almost crippling. She also is bothered very easily by the littlest of things that seemingly don't make sense, and finds it extremely hard to just let anything go. All Rosa wants to do is to live a simple happy life with those she holds dear. She often depends on others greatly, and will cling to an ally for support in almost a sibling like manner.

Bio: Rosa was a somewhat happy girl. She wasn't so anxious when she was younger. Sadly her mother passed away, when she was eight and due to cancer and her father fell into a habit of drinking as a result. Because of this a year after her mother died Rosa was taken away from her father as it was deemed unsafe for her to live with him. She was placed in the care of a family member, who abused her. After exhibiting several symptoms of suffering from anxiety, she was advised by her school to get a mental evaluation and so she was diagnosed with a severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder. She was deemed crazy by her caretaker, and so she was immediately given away to the hospital, written away and never thought of again. This happened when she was only nineyears old, so now that she is fifteen Rosa has distinguished the asylum as her home and is afraid of leaving it.

Liliana: Hardcore Otaku. Always cosplays as her favorite Strike Witch, Helma Lennartz. A sweet girl who loves hugs, she's always a bright, shining star.

Amelie: French-accented upper-class aristocratic personality, Amelie has an infatuation with Lelouch from Code Geass, to the point she will usually change out of the Helma Lennartz cosplay and dress up as a genderbent Lelouch. She's more calculating and less huggy than Liliana, but she's not a bad person really.

Shinya: Murderous bitch.
Bio:

Born as just Liliana at first, Lily spent a lot of time watching anime and just all around having fun. Her life was normal, but around four years ago her parents died in a car crash. As she bounced from foster care, abandoned by relatives far away, she was forced into being like a French Noble by a few disgraced French Nobles, which gave birth to her second personality, Amelie. Broken to badly in the end, always switching between a bubbly American and a cold, calculating French girl, she was thrown out and into the arms of an extremely abusive foster couple who had been running a very disgusting business underneath their foster parent facade. But when they broke Liliana, they, instead of having the perfect slave, created a monster.

 

By the time the police arrived after reports of screaming, they only found ten year old Liliana sitting in the basement, covered in blood. In her hands was the weapon used - a normal kitchen knife.

The cops learned very early on that Liliana wasn't exactly a lost girl. During the traumatic experience her mind had created a third, extremely violent personality she began calling Shinya, after Banba's second personality from Akuma No Riddle. After stabbing one cop (non-life threatening injury, due to his vest and the dullness of the knife) she was packed away to Coldridge Asylum, where she is mostly kept in solitary, only allowed minimal time with others to avoid bringing out Shinya again.

Name: Kyle Elric / The Prince of Hell, Abaddon

Personality: Once known as Kyle, Abaddon has completely forgotten about the weak person he once was and now believes is now the Crowned Prince of Hell. Usually, Abaddon is arrogant and taunting to the point that he belittles everyone who approaches him as trash. He goes to the ends of the Earth to emphasise how he is the greatest thing Humanity will ever amount to and obliterates the confidence of anyone who dares to say otherwise. However, under certain conditions, such as someone taking the Crown resting on his head, Abaddon's personality will completely fall into an endless rage where he will do anything to reclaim what is rightfully his. He will also enter a frenzy if anyone even dares to refer to him by his real name.

 

Bio: At 6 years old, Kyle Elric always knew that he was different from everyone else. The beatings from his abusive parents who wanted a girl. The intense bullying he received from his class mates for being poor. The arrogant sneers of those who were considered wealthy and fortunate. It was here that Kyle had realised within himself that his life was not worth living. With his parents finally getting a daughter, after a few years of trying again, Kyle was now completely closed off from his parents, still being treated as if he were an animal for the simplest of things like wanting a little more food or some decent clothes to wear to school. Everything continued to spiral down into a pit of despair until it drove Kyle to thoughts of suicide at only the age of 7. However, when he tried to kill himself, the boy could only cry as deep down, he still wanted to live. On that day, something awoke within Kyle's mind. An idea. Feeling that his entire being had been destroyed, Kyle then emerged as a Destroyer himself. It took little effort for him to kill his parents. The thought had plagued him for years, but now he was embracing it. Charged with the murder of both his parents and a few other children who'd looked down on him, "Abaddon" was immediately placed into the Coldridge Asylum, becoming one of the youngest inmates in the institutes history. The more that time passed, the less of the person known as Kyle Elric could be found, with his personality now being completely transformed into that of Abaddon, the self-proclaimed Prince of Hell. As he entered his teen years, Abaddon began to warrant things in order to pass the time. He would argue that a Prince required a Crown in order to be respected and threw a fits for at least four months on end before his request was accepted. Receiving a Crown that still rests on his head to this day, the 17 year old "boy" sits on his imaginary throne of royalty, clad in clothes fit for a Prince of Darkness and Destruction as he hopes to one day open the eyes of Humanity to his sublime presence in the world.

Just a heads up, besides Ciel there is a few more people that may sign up but because of exams for some next week (as well as Star Wars) you guys have all the time in the world to edit, revise, change etc your characters. And again, this is also PG-13 (as always) so just throwing that out there. Thank you.

I can totally see Rosa being sorta attached to Lily. As well as her being afraid of Kyle but wanting to have him as a friend due to how long they've been in he asylum together. Maybe she even has a small crush on him despite being totally terrified of him at the same time?

Personality: Quiet, strong, and a survivor.  Three words that would describe Krystal best.  Even after experiencing trauma Krystal was a survivor, forgetting everything that caused her unable to live her daily life and now she can go through the motions easily, though she is still plagued that she cannot remember much.  She cares much about others, as well as those in the asylum, though she cannot stand a bully no matter what.  Krystal is impatient in her own recovery and eager to remember what she had forgotten, though little does she realize that she is much better off not remembering to begin with.

I would totally love to do it. It could also give Kyle a sort of internal battle because he wants Amelie as his queen and yet the Kyle part of him likes Rosa due to how innocent/hurt she is (especially as it could remind him of himself when he was once Kyle)

Illness: mild OCD developed whilst he was in the asylum.
Personality: Withdrawn from time to time but otherwise very inquisitive. He is one track minded and often disregards facts of social acceptability and overall political correctness. Beyond that he is somewhat prideful and greedy. Generally he calculates situations to the fullest and never makes any sort of action not beneficial to him.His most renown characteristic in terms of personality is the abundance of Machiavellian thought and action.
Bio: Dusty was born into a family barely getting by to a father who was an alcoholic and his mother had been taking unknown drugs even while she was child barring (hence his hair color). He was sent to a public school full of ruffians and thugs and there he would e received immediately as a pushover. In due time however everyone was dancing to his beat. His social skills were best seen during his extortion methods that applied beyond the students. Using this he skipped three grades and advanced at lightning speed. Later on he chose the medical field as it was respected, well payed ... oh and he was beyond a genius on that field. He mastered medical art after art and advanced several stages beyond even some of the most renown experts. During time i high school he got involved with the wrong crowd and was hired for several underground jobs. At the age of fourteen he conducted his first surgery in the basement of a warehouse. The news of his expertise in pharmacy, facial reconstruction, nerve surgery, brain surgery etc quickly reached the ears of people i power. However one day a politician thought it best to render him unable to testify by bribing the health committee and made them throw him in the asylum. At first he was subjected to isolation for three months after which he was still intended to stay in the facility. During this time he developed an obsession that he must perform the entire procedure for treating an open pneumo thorax with hand gestures at a minimum of three times a day and he also began talking to himself out loud as if he were carrying on a conversation with another person (not the the MPD or DID level).

Personality: Aisling is rather stable most of the time, but if she doesn't take her medicine or something gets to her, she is to be feared. Aisling does not sleep unless she is forced to under a sedative. When she does sleep, she suffers from Night Terrors and will wake up screaming. She is usually rather sleepy, but unwilling to admit that she is.

Bio:

Aisling was born to a poor family and has been working as soon as she was old enough. After interactions with many rude people, countless hours of insomnia from over working, and not being able to leave, she started developing her disorders.

Her parents forced her into an asylum, and she know her family won't have enough money to get her out.

 

Also I am really wanting to see how PTSD and the Anxiety Disorder play out since I have both.

And I also have Agoraphobia so I can totally do this.

Bio: On Feburary 27, usagi was found by police officer kilik jones and was sent to coldrigde asylum by the order of the court. usagi had no family so, she is suspected to live at the asylum her whole life. dispite her age she's had some Very serious run in with the resident and hospital workers. Causing some very severe accident blame these accidents on a white rabbit. usagi was named by a betty field and the name was decided by the board and chairmen to be kept. before that she was ID'd by her Case number. Not accepting any names given to her by any of the other Doctors. the details of the crime is yet to be revealed. Usagi is very dangerous. Any mention of this white rabbit will put Usagi into a undesired Rage that make her cry. if she begins crying not even horse traq will put her down.

 

if she begins crying get on your back and lay down she'll begin playing with your hair even if you are bald she'll pretend to braid you hair. it seems to be the only thing that calms her down. and take cation in whatever you say to her she i very sensitive. 

 

 She is to be taken as a protocal S, and kept in High Security. 24/7 Sedation. and the mouth restrants are to be left on at all times.  Signed Dr.Felcon

"bloody surgical tool that are outdated and not sterilized seeming to bare the blood of the young Asian Female." the officers found his journals and personal effects in the bedroom. in the journals there is a constant mention of a cure for the "Pale One" And Occult rituals. suggesting satanic religious undertaking. An officer Kilik Jones Found the Girl underneath the staircase, talking to herself about a "white rabbit." The rest of the report is unclk the lil girl claimed She would always imagine wonderland because when she was home she'd be locked under the staircase where she'd only be given food from her deranged father that thought he was doing the work of a scientist.the father was named Jo carter tall white male 5'10" age 38. Her mother Died bleeding on her. the same thing had happened to her mother,

Sage Youen-gi small Indonesian female 4'5" Age 27, PLEASE LET ME OUT!! I WANT TO GO HOME!! she was locked under the staircase until she gave birth, then she was killed. the umbilical cord was still attatched to the woman when her body was found, And her body set ripe for 5 years under the floor boards of the staircases base closet betty wasn't real. the little girl has no birth records nor has she ever attended school, she was taught words by her father and her Psychological development was in the best interest of the state, so she was institutionalized into coldridge asylum by the judges order. She had to be isolated because she didn't do so well with older Residents and Workers of the hospital. She loved to follow the red queen. she had escaped several times on a Expedition for this "White rabbit" she talks so commonly about. Usagi was named by a nurse Betty Fields 5'6" age 43 African american Female That worked at the hospital. Ms.fields was killed in a car accident on June 18 4 months after she met Usagi. Usagi Suggest she is still talking to her on a daily basis. Even regularly being caught talking to the supposed Ms.Fields. Usagi often blaming the death on herself going so far as to say the white rabbit did it, to take her soul to wonderland. She was recorded in a Medical therapy session on july 8th 9:35pm stating "I know you killed her white rabbit, now i'ma kill you" Before she lunged at the medical professional and psychological therapist Dr. Kim sun. Dr.Kim sun left the room with a missing ear and damage Jugular vein. Rushed to the Trauma Center, Dr. Kim sun Died in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) From Asphyxiation on 12:16am july 9th. Usagi was sad about Dr.kim sun death stating. "I'm sad because the rabbit got away, he's very fast. and he's got another Soul." she was dead before she was alive

I'm very intrigued by this character! The bio is a bit much though with the coloring and boxes and the description of the murder bit with the umbilical cord and the ritual part. If you could edit that that'll be great but other than that you're good to go!

Any ideas on approach in general? The few i have mostly have to do with animal therapy, exposure therapy and well ... using someone expendable as a scapegoat for communication...

"bloody surgical tool that are outdated and not sterilized seeming to bare the blood of the young Asian Female." the officers found his journals and personal effects in the bedroom. in the journals there is a constant mention of a cure for the "Pale One" And Occult rituals. suggesting satanic religious undertaking. An officer Kilik Jones Found the Girl underneath the staircase, talking to herself about a "white rabbit." The rest of the report is unclk  the lil girl claimed She would always imagine wonderland because when she was home she'd be locked under the staircase where she'd only be given food from her deranged father that thought he was doing the work of a scientist.the father was named Jo carter  tall white male 5'10" age 38. Her mother Died bleeding on her. the same thing had happened to her mother,

Usagi was named by a nurse Betty Fields 5'6" age 43 African american Female That worked at the hospital. Ms.fields was killed in a car accident on June 18 4 months after she met Usagi. Usagi Suggest she is still talking to her on a daily basis. Even regularly being caught talking to the supposed Ms.Fields. Usagi often blaming the death on herself going so far as to say the white rabbit did it, to take her soul to wonderland. She was recorded in a Medical therapy session on july 8th 9:35pm stating "I know you killed her white rabbit, now i'ma kill you" Before she lunged at the medical professional and psychological therapist Dr. Kim sun. Dr.Kim sun left the room with a missing ear and damage Jugular vein. Rushed to the Trauma Center, Dr. Kim sun Died in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) From Asphyxiation on 12:16am july 9th. Usagi was sad about Dr.kim sun death stating. "I'm sad because the rabbit got away, he's very fast. and he's got another Soul." she was dead before she was alive

I went ahead and quoted Gothraven's edited sheet since it was showing up on my end. : )  It looks like she edited last night, though I believe Aqua was hoping that you would remove some of the details pertaining to the murder, like the umbilical cord and rotting corpse, maybe some of the extra blood.  That's a bit much to swallow, unless perhaps it was put under spoiler tabs or approved by Aqua.  I think that's what she was talking about editing out, but forgive me if I'm mistaken.
