Kingdom Hearts 2.9 - Opening Title / Main Menu Concept

After the recent leaks and all the speculation surrounding a possible release of a game called "Kingdom Hearts 2.9", I started thinking about the possibility of this game being more than just a rumor... 

 

The title of the game itself is very similar to 1.5 and 2.5 which leaves me thinking that we might be in front of another HD Collection.

 

The fact that it was numbered as 2.9, seems to be an indication that the events of this title will be not only prior but also the very foundation of Kingdom Hearts 3 storyline.

 

As a result, I imagined this title as another "HD collection" which could include:

 

- Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Final Mix (HD);

- Kingdom hearts 3 Demo;

- Kingdom Hearts Unchained X (I know it will be released for iOS and Android and for free in all regions, but still, the idea of reuniting all the KH games in home consoles would be awesome).

 

Therefore, I decided to create a Opening Title/Main Menu Concept for this possible KH game.  :D

 

Here's the final result:

 

 

Let me know what you guys think, while we all wait for a possible confirmation at Tokyo Game Show!  ;)

I guess the feeling is pretty much the same for all the KH community! :D

Don't worry! Jared knows about it (actually PM him on twitter and he even commented on my video)... ;)

 

I did the following changes:

- the Logo;

- the "Return to KH3" became "Back" instead;

- I made a moving cursor and add the sounds associated to the Menu (he didn't have that).

 

It's not like I just copied his work and didn't add anything...

 

On the contrary! I took something good and turned it into something even better. :D

That's good but just credit him in like the description or in an annotation since he originally made it.

To be honest, actually, this was the Menu that gave me most of of the work to make, since I had to change everything that was on the left side on Photoshop while preserving the video on the background.

 

It was way easier to create the KH3 Demo Menu instead, since I wasn't limited to a prior work.

 

I just preserved part of his work because I really felt it was great and I knew the community enjoyed it! ;)
