Oli 1,679 Posted August 25, 2015 Do you use public transport?
Veemon 1,540 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Only a few times, such as for Field Trips, and I think a train or two, but other than that, not really. EDIT: And Airplanes when travelling to see my cousins in Texas and Florida. Edited August 25, 2015 by Steven Drake (SteVentus)
AndrewHankinson 311 Posted August 25, 2015 I very rarely use public transport as I have a car! Finally could rid myself of infuriating late or early buses!
Enix 995 Posted August 25, 2015 Sometimes, although I usually take trains.
Ninkoro 123 Posted August 25, 2015 Only if I want to die. I live in the detroit area and i'm white. 1 Oli reacted to this
advfox 698 Posted August 25, 2015 Rarely. I normally drive.
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted August 25, 2015 Wish I could. I live in a "developing area" which is a nice way of saying the sticks. There's a cattle farm behind my house. So yeah, not really an option.
WakelessDream 2,278 Posted August 25, 2015 Rarely, I hate public transport. There's too many annoying and shady people on there, among other things. Having a car makes things much more convenient and is more comfortable for me. 1 soraspromise reacted to this
soraspromise 380 Posted August 25, 2015 The most I ever used "public transportation" it wasn't really public, it was buses for the Disney College Program participants & they were absolutely terrible. I used light-rails and trains through NJ Transit to go to NYC two times and I liked those simply because I hate the idea of driving in NYC but overall I haven't had great experiences with public transportation. burnsideking24 256 Posted August 25, 2015 Since I live in NYC, it's sometimes more convenient to get to places using the public transit system (despite it being really sucky and expensive compared to how it used to be). If I wanna go downtown or somewhere somewhat far from home, I take the train or bus when I can. Otherwise, I'm walking.
Rinax 473 Posted August 25, 2015 Of course. It's nice since I don't drive. Except when the buses are late and I need to get to class. I'm in British Columbia, so it's a normal thing. 1 Oli reacted to this
Oishii 3,987 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) I use the bus sometimes around school when I'm in America but for the most part America's public transportation is really limited. In Japan it's the only way I get around other than walking. Their train system is amazing. OmegaForte 1,674 Posted August 25, 2015 Well I'm in NYC, so it's almost a must for traveling long distances, especially if one doesn't own a car.
Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted August 26, 2015 Pffft, every single day. I catch the train to get to Uni, and I love it! Peace!
BlankShell 638 Posted August 26, 2015 I'd say about once every other week, just through happenstance. I'm not a huge fan of taking the bus to work, but if I have to.
HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted August 26, 2015 It's not at all practical to do so where I live. There's no bus stops anywhere near me, and trains really only run in the metropolitan areas, not the weird quasi-redneck area I'm close to.
Forever 3,550 Posted August 26, 2015 I sometimes take a taxi to work. It would be cooler if they were actually a pretty yellow like the ones in NY, but they're just a boring white and red.
Eternalsleep 175 Posted August 26, 2015 Yup. Born and raised new Yorker who works in manhattan so i always use the train
venxas24 544 Posted August 26, 2015 I rode the school bus for 12 years but now I drive
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 26, 2015 Talking school wise, I never, ever took the bus to school. Mom, Dad, or my Stepdad would always drive me to school. The only time I ever took the bus was when I went to college. Other than that, I haven't used public transports. Now, talking out of school, I've been in transports for field trips to other towns in Puerto Rico, and most recently, I took a train to downtown Chicago, which was awesome! Official Bowtie Artist 90 Posted August 26, 2015 I use it Monday-Friday because of college classes. 12 units!
Revolart 431 Posted August 26, 2015 Only in Australia , I would drive a car if im back at my hometown.
Shulk 8,623 Posted August 26, 2015 Very, very rarely. I might need to use it now since I have two classes on the exact opposite ends of my university that have a somewhat short break between them, but I've never had much of a need for public transportation. It's not a very common option out where I live, anyway.
