No, he ruled out 2015. Plus Square Enix's 2015 line-up is full.

Did he say that we're getting an actual date at Pax Prime? Or did he mean that they're announcing when they are going to give a release date at Pax?

Wasn't a 2016 release date blatantly obvious?

We also still hadn't a release year. But yeh it has to be cause it wasn't in development anymore.

Mayby only the bugs and that kinds of thing.

True. Now it'll be a case of will it be Early or Late 2016? My guess is it'll be Q1 or Q2.

I'd go Q3. I'd expect it after DQ Heroes II.

Sooner the better though, need to get those resources into VII Remake and Toriyama's title and then Tabata can make that Type-1 he wants to make.

THAT would be amazing bro! Lets hope a huge chunk of the XV team goes to work on FFVII! Square Enix will swim in money when that game happens.

They're already working with CyberConnect 2, it'll be fine.

Who do you know this??

#1 Motomu Toriyama clearly stated no more major title development completely internal after XIII. In other words, all major titles from XIII-2 onwards are at least partly outsourced to an external developer.

#2 CyberConnect2 developed Final Fantasy VII G-Bike and expressed interest in remaking the original game.

#3 CyberConnect2 has confirmed they're developing a photo-realistic role playing game targeted at the international market and is built using Unreal Engine 4 involving physics-based rendering.

All outsourced? Can we even be sure that's a good thing? FFVII is using Unreal?

You misunderstand. Partly outsourced.

XIII-2 and LR were partly outsourced to tri-Ace, they helped a lot with the graphics in particular.

XV has been partly outsourced to HexaDrive and XPEC.

We believe KH3 has been partly outsourced to an Indian developer.

Yes, FFVII Remake is using Unreal Engine 4, just like DQXI and KH3.

That's good I guess. We'll start getting games sooner. I'm glad FFVII and KH3 share an engine. :)
