who do you REALLY not want to see kick the bucket of darkness in the next game?

For me personally, I don't want to see Riku or Terra die. It just seems silly at this point, and with Terra specifically, I don't consider sacrificing himself to be good "atonement"

really I'm kinda tire dof character seeking atonement in a world like KH, where everybody is friends with everybody anyways

 

Roxas. Almost everyone wants him to stay in Sora heart and not have a body. Roxas is a brilliant character with a deep, tragic backstory. Killing him off seems to be dumb move for the franchise.

I am pretty much in the same boat. It seems weird at this point to kill either Riku or Terra, and I don't want them to die anyway (esp. RIku). I don't want any of the BBS trio to die nor the main trio (like they will ).

@Ninkoro: Roxas can use all sorts of high level magic in Days, too, plus he has a bunch of keyblade combos, and Sora's abilities (for example, during the fight with the TWilight Thorn, Roxas uses Strike Raid, even though he can't use that in normal gameplay)

Aqua, she has made enough sacrifices already, KH3 needs to be her payoff moment.

High level magic? Any basic skill like thundaga is basic magic. Things like tornado or raging storm are advanced magic, the use the elements in complex ways.Even sora without drive forms is no match for Ven. Sora has yet to learn how to combine magic with keyblade attacks. He still uses the elements seperatly, in their basic forms.

Totally dont want goofy to die again. I cried for like 5 minutes untill it was revealed that he didnt die so my heart can't go through that again

All of them. I don't even want Spockanort to die. I want everyone to resolve their differences and become friends. 

 

But if I had to pick a serious answer, I'd have to say Terra. I have a strong feeling either he or Aqua might end up kicking the bucket and I'm leaning towards him since he's the one who's been screwed over the most.

Because of the item Limit Recharge. It allows you to fill up your yellow limit bar. So Roxas could spam  constantly uses final limit anytime in a battle.

Knowing full well no one is going to die...i'm going to say that i dont want any of the villains to die.

Tornado is really just high level wind magic, and Ventus can't use raging Storm.

Though... Sora can. And he can use Tornado, too. Sora has a lot of that sort of magic in Chain of Memories. But even then, Sora's focus is obviously on using light magic, using it for things like Explosion.

But really, it all comes down to practicality, a firaga or a tornado, if it hits, that's what matters. Roxas isn't shown using any different magic in Days, but that's because they limited it for multiplayer. Roxas' boss fight shows him manipulating light magic on a far higher level than Sora or Ven ever did

if we bring items into this, what's stopping them from spamming elixirs?

Though, both of them would eventually run out. Roxas only has so much panel space, and Ventus can only use a set number of items per battle

But he has the potential to be extremely powerful as being the Nobody of two people he should, theoretically, have access to all of both Sora's and Roxas' abilities. He uses attacks like Shadowbreaker and Icebreaker in 3D, both of those attacks combine two elements with melee strikes in addition to skills like Spark Raid and Fire Windmill that combine one element with melee strikes and he doesn't have Drive Forms in that game. And in CoM he had Advanced/Master level spells like Raging Storm and Tornado.@topic, anyone witout an "x" in their name who isn't Roxas or Xion.

While id like to belive that sora will retain his skill knowledge from 3D, thus it should count, com doesnt count. It was the "power of the cards" that granted sora those skills. Plus, he forgot all about the damn thing. So com for sure doesn't count.

Lea because any sort of weight his death would try to have would be lost considering he's "died" about 4 times by now and it's just basically become part of his morning routine at this point. Let him do his thing and then peace out.

None of them, but especially Riku and/or Terra since the fanbase has it out for them for some reason (why do "bad boys" have such a high casualty rate?). KH wrote itself into a corner for any protagonist's death to be meaningful without undoing the work it took to get them in a position to die. All this work towards saving everyone and atonement and giving folks a chance at their own existence, and you want them to be killed off again? We're this far in, so KH might as well preserve its own track record for not letting anyone die for good.
