(On with the RP! Sign-Ups are unfortunately closed for now, however it may be opened in the future. Have a nice Summer!)

The sun was shining and it's heat was blazing on a quiet little harbor on the edge of a town known as Seawall, NY as many youths and adults alike were meeting to travel by boat to Camp Rosewater, a special 'ordinary' camp on an island in the middle of Lake Rosewater. What most didn't know, was that the camp was actually populated by those with psychic abilities. As children bid farewell to their parents and took their luggage to venture off for the summer, a young boy by the name of Tabitha was currently saying goodbye to his parents in front of the minivan where they had parked. As Tabitha was attempting to take his suitcase out, his mother kept giving him kisses and hugs to express how worried and sad she will be that he is leaving for camp once more.

"Mum! I'll be fine..." Tabitha said as he tried to escape his mother's embrace. The mother only sniffled and held her son by the shoulders.

"You be careful now." She said sadly. "Please, if anything happens call us. I left you enough money to wash your clothes and buy anything you need. Be sure to wash your underwear especially!" The father only sighed, and wrapped his arm around his wife's waist.

"Please let the poor lad go. He's going to be fine. Have a nice time okay Tabitha?" The father said.

Tabitha sighed softly and gave his parents one last hug before heading to the boats. "I love you both. I'll call you as soon as I get settled in. Bye!"

Meanwhile, a man known as Sickle was standing by, making sure the kids were getting settled in the boats. He bid greetings to any campers that he knew from before, and greeted new ones. He himself was very excited to take on a group of boys once again, however he definitely didn't show it. He looked around to the other counselors and staff, nodding at those that he knew well. This was going to be a very interesting long Summer.

"Another camp alone....." a young teen murmured while he watched parents bid other teens farewell. Yukiteru Amano was a loner, and this camp only served to prove that. He took a seat on a boat while he pulled out his only constant companion. A phone. Another summer for camp, parents are biding goodbye to kids. Putting it away, he stared at a few other boats.

Yuno sat on a nearby boat, staring at the boy with his trademark yellow beanie. The girl simply ignored everyone that even made eye contact with her. She sighed with content while she wrote in her phone. Yuki looks so cool! I want to sit with him so much. Another summer meant another 2 months with her secret love, and she was sure to make the most of it.

Shakaku Laeo went to sleep by the docks with nothing but a shoulder bag of dirty clothes. He opened up his eyes and he looked around, he saw mother's kissing their sons good-bye, and Shakaku gave an angry look, "Lucky bastard... They have no idea what it's like to be forced out the family." He said to himself. He looked at his hands and knew that the only way to be able to have a family he would have to control this power. He was about to snap his fingers then stopped himself, because he knew that if he did he would cause a small explosion. He put his hands in his pockets, turned around and made a snicker sound, and got on board of the ship and sat in a seat by a window by himself, and closed his eyes for the ride.

(Dang, I was so close... I was just about to post it too.)

"Behave yourself." "Be careful of demons." "Don't bring anything unwanted back with you." The advices, no, the orders kept coming to Roza non-stop as he parents were there to escort her to the boat that leaded to the camp. It was the same thing every year, yet her parents couldn't help but to somehow forget it and go over the rulebook over and over again. "I will be fine. I can fend for myself." Roza assured as she was given kisses by her parents. Roza held her messenger bag filled with personal stuff and her pink suitcase with a giant bow on it right behind. "I'll see you after summer." Roza said as she waved her hands, turning and walking up to the boat, dragging her simple luggage with her. She held protectively to her messenger bag. That was the one thing she would never give to anyone, for reasons that were that it was filled with stuff to help her out in terms of her power. After learning of her powers she had forced herself to learn more about the spirit world and the other side. Now she wouldn't go anywhere without a jar of salt, some holy water among other things that she might end up needing. Especially for seances. Roza gave a nod to Sickle as she walked on. "(Just another summer of being sent away. Hopefully the nice spirits are still around.)"

'This blows. Thought Drake to himself. It was expected that camp would require the most of his electronics to be offline but in the end what's the harm in sneaking in a thing or two? To bad  hell never find that one out ... Yea he was going to try it. The idea was to hide a small radio in a bag of chips. It's not supposed to work but it is a good test to see just how vigilant the counselors are. Next thing on his mind were the campers. Best he could do was nothing. Besides nobody is exactly interesting at the moment.First stop was the boat then registration. What a boring start to things. An explosion was probably to much to ask. The last check he made were his pockets.Life in the big city had taught him that you should always carry around a pocket knife, a packet of gum, a box of matches, a pen and a pack of paper. The watch he had was a sundial so that shouldn't be a issue. The luggage he had was mostly just the essentials and a box of tools he never got around to using to much. Aside from the bag he had a backpack full of snacks had a first aid kit. Checking all this was something like OCD for him. The weather and climate were similar to France from what he had seen so far so there was no adjusting period his doctor had mentioned. The second he arrived however his eyes wandered around the girls. This just changed his opinion from : This sucks to this might be bearable.

Standing at the shore with her parents and luggage, Kasumi saw many other kids of varying ages preparing to do the same as her: Head off to Camp Rosewater. A lot of them had parents to bid them goodbye and tell them to stay safe, there were those who did not have such caring people. She really pitied them, for it must really suck not to have them around. She didn't want to know that feeling herself, but she was perfectly fine with heading off to this Camp to attune her abilities.

"Have you got everything? Don't want to be forgetting anything, eh?" Her thoughts were interrupted by her mothers questions, followed by a Canadian Stereotype she herself also had.

"Yes, Mum, I do. I checked three times before we left and an additional two times when we got here. Don't worry!" She said reassuringly, allowing her mother to breath a sigh of relief.

Her mother gave her several kisses on her cheeks and a big hug. Kasumi could tell that she was holding back tears, but she didn't want to say anything for she didn't want her mum crying on such a day. Her father gave her a hug afterwards, telling her one little thing that made her chuckle: "Careful with those boys, you hear? Girls too, of course." He said with jest, amusing his daughter greatly.

"Don't worry, Dad. I'm careful." She said with a wink as she picked up her luggage and headed off to the boats, waving to her parents as she left. She got on board the water-based transport and sat down, deciding to have a quick nap as to let the journey pass quicker. "I hope this goes well..." She thought as she closed her eyes.

Kaoru arrived with her parents at her side, both their hands on her shoulders."Now, we sent you here for your own good. You can talk to people your own age here." Her mother said."You'll be fine here Kaoru, you have a cellphone so you can call. But only call in emergencies." Her father reminded. The girl hugged her parents goodbye, and they were off.Kaoru pulled up her rabbit-hood looking around. There was a mix of emotions in this place already. Jealously, Sadness, Uncertainty, and even a hint of love.Interesting.She board a boat to sail across the lake, watching as others did the same.

In the distance, a small white sedan pulled up near the harbor, and there seemed to be a lot of talking coming from the inside. After a bit, an ecstatic-looking young girl named Sammy opened the passenger's door and hooped out of the car with a rather large duffle bag in her arms.

"Yeah! I know, Ma!", she shouted. "Love you!", she said, before closing the door and heading off to the harbor. She seemed to run towards there pretty quickly, all with a subtle cloud of dust behind her feet and a big smile on her face. She was so excited in fact, that so just jumped from the dock and into a random empty boat, causing the water to splash a bit.

Once in the boat, Sammy looked around at all of the other boats with that smile still plastered on her face. She was set and ready to go. She was also very excited to see all of the others that would be going, hoping to get to know them later on, and if there were others with the same abilities as her.

As soon as he noticed the boats were getting ready to leave, Tabitha jumped on the nearest one he saw. He stumbled a bit into it, and held his suitcase close. He noticed a boy sitting by himself in the back and was going to sit with him, however he appeared to be sleeping and overall unwilling to talk to anyone, so Tabitha decided to sit in the next empty seat; the seat next to Yuki. Tabitha sat right next to Yuki, smiling softly as he gave a gentle wave. The boy seemed nice. "Hey there." Tabitha said with a smile. "Excited for camp?"

Meanwhile, Sickle jumped on a boat as well. As the boat departed to the island, he looked as all the other children left to enter the rest of the boats. Another long Summer it was going to be, and it was going to be very interesting taking on a new group of boys. He hardly expected getting any previous campers. As he looked around the boat, he could already pinpoint the very interesting campers. As a clairvoyant, he could change his sight to see way more than the human eye allowed. Despite this, he didn't need this ability to figure out those who really something. He sat down between three girls, and smiled down at the youngest one. It wasn't often when Sickle encountered a camper as young as she, especially since most other campers were in their mid to late teens. He noticed the rebel looking boy in the corner, and could already tell he was probably going to try to sneak contraband in. Sickle just assumed he was going to be assigned the boy due to how the universe works.

"You look very excited." Sickle said to Sammy with a smile as he looked at all the unenthusiastic faces on the boat. It was honestly refreshing to see such excited faces every once in a while. "Everyone else looks like they're being put in jail."

Roza rolled at the comment, not being able to stop but to overhear the conversation. "Hope you don't mind me butting in, Sickle, but you should know by now that my parents send me here to make sure that nothing evil ends up haunting their house like it did last time. They have reminded me for the past 3 hours before coming here that any spirits that I ended up dragging with me are to stay at the camp. They still have the willie nillies after the priest had to come over and bless the house." Roza hissed, looking away bored as she hugged her messenger bag. She couldn't control the fact that spirits followed her. They just did because it was obvious that she was the only one that could see them and speak to them. Especially come up with seances to talk to specific spirits. But that takes a lot of energy out of her, and heaven knows if something else ends up coming through. "In fact I can tell you right now there's a dead old man just sitting right there!"

Due to the chatter around her, Kasumi was unable to get settled, so she gave up and sat up properly, looking around her to see who was going to accompany her to the Camp. Many teens and children were present, some her age, others younger. Some excited, others wishing they weren't there. "They should really be grateful that they're coming to this Camp...it'll help them more than it'll bore them." She thought to herself, not being judgemental, but more concerned than anything else.

She knew that once they arrived, she'll need to hand over any electronic equipment she had, as clearly stated by the rules mentioned to her by her Principal before she left. Kasumi didn't mind however, as she believed the Camp would offer much more than Candy Crush could, not that she ever played it.

Finishing her pondering, she positioned and adjusted herself to seem more welcoming to the people around her, so they wouldn't be afraid or discouraged to approach her. Kasumi enjoyed talking to people, but hoped the people on the boat would show some bravery to go up to a girl like her just to simply say "Hi!", because she has always wanted to prove herself and help others do the same.

Drake was now aware that the counselor had noticed the mini radio. What's the point of reacting if the counselor didn't right? After a moment of looking around his eyes finally found what he was looking for.

'I may not have telepathy but that one is definitely waiting for someone to talk to her.' He thought as he strolled down the ship directly towards Kasumi.

"Well hey there. Names Drake." He said and sat down next to her. He leaned back and put his hands behind his head and spoke a little more.

"So what's your story." He emphasized the word your implying he wont be saying anything about himself. From the corner of his eye he saw everyone was socializing somehow. It's not that uncommon for him to try and do the same but what's the point.

Also the Counselor was on his gaze but only very slightly. Should he approach he'll just crush the radio with ash or something.

As she heard the greeting, Kasumi looked at the speaker, a boy, and smiled at him, waving at him. "Didn't take as long as I thought." She thought.

"Hey there, Drake! I'm Kasumi." She said with a welcoming tone. She observed him sit down and assume a very casual seating position next to her. "I wonder what he's like..."

When he asked his question, she had a quick think to herself before answering: "Well, my parents have known about my powers since I was a little girl. Apparently I burned a mouse. I'm a Pyrokinetic in case you were wondering." She chuckled, the mere idea of hurting another being smaller than her was a foreign concept nowadays.

"After I developed them and passed High School, my Principal suggested Camp Rosewater in order to aid me further. So, here I am now!" She said, clearly showing some eagerness for what lies ahead.

"What about you? Or is that a private matter? I know some people here won't want to say anything, as we all have....different experiences, to say the least." She said, hoping he wasn't one of those people as she really wanted to hear his story.

~Satchel Brooks~

It wasn't too hard to get away from his house in Nebraska to get to New York. After all, he had went there three years ago with his parents to see RENT on Broadway! It took him maybe... two minutes in total to get there. Apporation had lag sometimes, depending on distance. Anything within a mile, however, took half a second. Satchel stumbled when the teleportation had finished, as he began to get lightheaded. He nearly fainted! His plan to get to Camp Rosewood, however, had been enough determination to get him to the ports. He picked up his backpack, and stomped away, keeping his balance the best he could.

His parents didn't know about his ability. Well, that, or they did and chose to ignore it. It's been two years since he first learned about his ability, and not even a full three months since he learned that he wasn't alone in the case. Before that point, he hadn't told anyone about it. Not his siblings, not his parents, not even his friends. The seperation from family, however, gave him time to hone his abilities to the point where he could apporate other people, and even items! Each time, however, he would nearly pass out from the mental exhaust.

By the time Satchel had made it to the port, the boat had already left! He could see it in the distance, not even a mile off the port yet. He knew that if he tried to apporate to it, he'd pass out as soon as he made it. This was his only chance, however. He couldn't let this opportunity go by! He closed his eyes, hugged his backpack, and...Everything went dark.

Sickle noted the two conversating nearby. Sadly he didn't even get a response from Sammy before Roza gave her opinion on what he had just said. He couldn't help but smile; it was often when camper had doubts coming to Rosewater, but he was confident all the same because he knew everyone would eventually have a good time. That's how it usually went.

"You're going to be happy that you came here." He said. "We're going to teach you how to use your abilities and cope with it. The power of the mediums are a hard power to have.... But there are many here who understands how you feel. Soon, you won't have to worry about spiritus following you ever again." Suddenly then, a boy crashed into the boat. He appeared out of nowhere, which Sickford easily concluded that either the boy must have the ability of Apporiton, or was teleported here by someone who was. He immediately went forward and placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. With the ability of Clairvoyance he was able to find out that Satchel teleported here because the boats left. "We come back to pick up those who are late..." He said while shaking his head. "He could've killed himself... Everyone stay calm! The kid is fine. Does anyone have a bottle of water and a rag?" He lifted Satchel over his shoulder with no problem and set him down to rest on an empty seat. He took a piece of paper and began to fan Satchel with it.

Drake listened to the girl paying an interest in the mouse roast which did bring out a chuckle. Afterwards the whole what about you thing was imminent. Best bet was to simply get it out of the way.

"It's not all that personal just one of the many things i like to lay off." He made a number of gestures along the way but in the end most ended up as comical byproducts.

"Well the thing with my story is that..." He was cut off when someone crashed into the boat. Well that was a waste of a conversation.

"I'll get back to that later." He said to Kasumi before getting out a water bottle and a rag from the first aid kit in his bag. Also some of the ice in his bottle was still in the process of melting

"Duty calls." He sighed and walked over to Sickle.

"Get out of the way. I got this." He wrapped the ice into the rag and tied it together then put it on his forehead. Next up he gave a quick look at the limbs and ribs to see if anything was broken.

"Apporiton eh ... Yo couns how long does it take for someone to wake up from this kind of thing? It might be good to know in the future." Drake turned to Sickle . There was a good probability that this would happen again especially if nobody knew how to restrain themselves.

Kasumi acknowledged and nodded at his words, attempting not to react to his...less than subtle gestures. "He has some things to hide....I wonder if he'll divulge them during our time in the Camp..." She managed to think before the crashing sound reverberated throughout the boat, she soon heard that someone had apporated because they were late.

"Oh my god, is he okay?" She asked with great concern as she stood up and inspected what was going on as best she could, hoping whoever it was would be fine.

"Hmm....Apporition is a tricky power...I'm willing to bet he has little to no practice or experience with it." She thought. Seeing that Drake had it covered, she turned her attention to other passengers, seeing if anyone may have been hurt by that incident and, maybe after this has settled, be willing to chat with her.

Sakaku heard the commosion and opened his eyes to see what was going on, he saw a boy with a bunch of people around him worried about how he was even though the counsler said he was fine. "You stupid moron, you should learn your limits before using your powers to many times, commoner." He said quietly while trying to hold his laugh in. He sat back in his seat and looked out in the window, since he knew he wasn't going to be able to sleep because of that idiot. He was getting hungry so he decided to eat some food that he stole from the marketplace. He grabbed a piece of bread from his shoulder bag and broke off a piece of it and started to eat it, he looked out the window and saw nice calm waters, blue skies, and some what looked like seagulls flying around them. He knew this was going to be a fun summer, but he wished he didn't have to be with a bunch of low life scum during this time.

"He was feeling rushed." Kaoru finally spoke up.

Kaoru lay a hand on her head, she was getting a headache.

She shouldn't be using her powers so much, but she was so nosy sometimes.

"I'm Kaoru. Nice to meet you all." She said with a small smile.

Her eyes gazed at Satchel, smiling softly at him.

What an amazing ability.

"I hope so." Roza said sincerely, in response to the suggestion that soon she would learn to keep spirits from following her. That would be nice. She could only do so much, like convincing such spirits to stay at a certain spot so they wouldn't follow her. Sometimes it worked. Sometimes it didn't. To create some sort of shield to keep them from following would be nice. Roza didn't expect the kid to suddenly teleport into the boat, causing her to jump ever so slightly. She glared at the kid and looked around before looking back down at him. "He...teleports." Roza muttered. Well, that seemed like a useful ability...but like everything else, it took energy and stamina, so it was no surprise to have the kid faint the moment he landed. "Um..." Roza muttered as she searched around in her bag, pulling out a hand towel. "I have this, will it work?"

Sickle was very happy to have Drake come and assist him in taking care of Satchel. It was good to have someone at camp who was most likely capable to not only take care of himself but take care of those around him. Luckily, he has seen many cases of those passing out due to over exerting themselves. He looked to Kasumi and smiled. "He is going to be fine.... And as far as waking up goes... He should be up and about in ten minutes. If he's still not awake or feeling better by the time we get to the island I'll carry him to the infirmary." He took Roza's hand towel after thanking her, and doused it with water from a water bottle. After wringing it out Sickle began to dab Satchel's face with it. He heard Sakaku's comment and was originally going to stay quiet, however after hearing the use of the word 'commoner' Sickle decided to speak up.

"... He's not a moron. As Kaoru said; he was feeling rushed. I think it's rather impressive that he was able to make a jump from shore like that. Here you will all learn of your limits and how to control your abilities... Everyone is equal." He looked around to everyone on the boat, noticing some giggles and smirks on some of the other campers.

"If anyone wants to be a wise-ass or make a comment it would be my honor to bring your ass back to the harbor as soon as we arrive at the island."

~Satchel Brooks~ Satchel had a short little dream while he was unconcious. Nothing special, just something that kept his mind occupied. He was in some strange town, someplace he didn't recognize. There were people running around in an ally, being chased by a pack of wolves... he heard a gunshot! A wolf had been taken down... but something was off. There was no wolf to be seen. Just a man with spiky hair in a pool of blood. Satchel opened his eyes to see a man with black hair patting his face with a wet rag. He shot up quickly, and looked around. He must've made the jump! "Heh, sorry about that everyone. I came all the way from Nebraska and I didn't want to miss this boat." He rubbed the back of his head, embarrassed and shy.

Kasumi overheard Sickle's words, agreeing with them greatly, she spoke up:

"This boy did a brave thing apporating here, so he's anything BUT a moron or a commoner." She said, she didn't abide mockery of anyone. "As he said, we're all here for a common purpose, 'kay? C'mon, let's just be nice to each other!" She said with a little smile, sitting down again.

She then looked to Sickle: "What's your name by the way, I don't think I got it...." She asked, again with a friendly tone. "Calling someone a Commoner in a boat leading toward a common purpose....who does he think he is?" She thought.

"i guess that's that with the waking up stuff." Drake backed away from Satchel. There was something about everyone's reactions to the commoner statement that just made him think:

'Who cares anyway.' He took the rag he had used for an ice pack and stuck it into a plastic bag he had brought with him. In all honesty he hated anything to do with first aid and It was originally meant only for him. There was also the question of running out of bandages and stuff tho that might be replaceable with herbs. So so far what he saw was not very comforting on the whole control aspect but it didn't really matter. Moreover something was different. It may have just been him but a very interesting vibe was coming from Sakaku. If anyone he seemed to be quite the interesting guy.

"Tell me something. While you were unconscious your breathing was heavy and pulse ran wild. It wasn't exhaustion i can say that much. What exactly caused that?" Drake asked. He had a feeling that it will probably come in handy later on like the whole unconscious thing.

(Really late post. Wow. I'm so sorry.)

Sammy sat cross-legged in the boat and greeted the one that was actually talking to her.

"Oh, hi! I know! Isn't this exciting?! Why is everyone so upset?" She sat up from the boat and shouted at the others. "Hey, guys! Stop being such sour raisins! This'll be fun!!", she yelled with a smile as she sat down. "Just because there's dead people in the boat doesn't mean they're going to kill or anything. Besides, he's looks so sad!", the girl retaliated. "There, there, old man. It's okay. No more sadness, okay?"

The girl turned to Roza with a twinkle in her eye. "You can see dead people too?!", she asked the older girl, wonderfully surprised.

When she and the others got to the camp, they all ran over to a boy that seemed to be hurt and she quickly followed, grabbing her bag.

"Whoa! Are you okay?!", Sammy cried to the boy. But, as more conversation went on, she found out that the boy was able to teleport here. As the boy woke up, Sammy greeted him in an odd way.

"Oh!! You teleported here?? Wow! Be more careful next time! You could have died!", she said rather bluntly. "Well, welcome to camp!", she said, emitting a great big smile.

(Horrendously sorry about my late response in like.  I'll try to keep up from this point on, though I apologize if I'll be absent next week whilst on vacation.)

There was a great amount of commotion upon the deportation of the boats headed to Camp Rosewater.  There typically was, or at least every year that Marina has attended as a counselor.  What's more is that she anticipated it.  Seeing the future had its pros and cons.  The young counselor made her way through the crowd and over toward her accomplice, Sickle.  "He'll be fine," she reassured, offering him yet another ice pack.  "I'll try to calm the group down so you don't have too many people hovering here."  With that Marina rose and waved her arms at the others.  "Please, everyone, try to take it easy.  This boy just teleported and banged himself up pretty good.  Let's give him some breathing room and not overwhelm him, okay?  Thank you!"

The young woman tucked a lock of silver hair behind her ear, smiling at all the campers.  It was always a joyous thing to meet new souls gifted--or, rather, cursed--with psychic abilities, and had she wished she'd discovered the camp in her youth.  She made her way through the crowd and took a seat by Sakaku.  She watched him tentatively a moment before sighing.  "Please, if I may give you some advice"--she bit her lip, eyes downcast--"change your ways.  I don't want to interfere, and I can't change the future, but I worry if you continue to steal and move about life at your current pace.  It could harm you one day, perhaps sooner than you know."
