Lara Croft: Relic Run is a free-to-play Lara Croft game developed by Simutronics, working in partnership with Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix for iOS, Android & Windows Phone.
Graphically, it's quite nice and puts Lara Croft in the palm of your hand quite well. Music/audio is also well done.
Gameplay is only what really matters here. The game is addictive, challenging and time consuming.
Unfortunately if your smartphone or tablet lags, you can't really play it since you'll just crash into a wall or something.
There's also plenty of achievements to unlock and upgrades to buy. There's quite a bit of depth here.
Unfortunately it's also loaded with ads, and if you want to complete it you really have to pay sadly unless you're pretty good at it.
Overall it's a quality game for its genre.
The free-to-play model will open it up to casual fans but close out hardcore fans at the same time.
