As I said this like a DnD game. I will actually be using real formulas, debating what happens, play as NPCs and keep tabs on your abilities, inventory and ECT. as you progress through your story.

[You all start in your own homes just like The game. Fenris's house is red, Satchel's house is blue and Alice's house is green. You all are residents in Pallet Town. A quiet little town where not much happenkgs. Today is the day for everyone receive their very own starter Pokémon and start there their journey as Pokémon trainers! Now get over to Prof.Oaks lab!]

Fenris woke up at the sound of his alarm clock, which was shaped as a pidgey who started to squak loudly. With a groan and a slam on its head, Fenris turned off the alarm. He glanced at the clock and then the calendar. "Oh, I've almost forgotten it's today." Fenris muttered, yawning as he dragged himself out of bed. He went ahead and took a quick shower before getting dressed up. He had his backpack ready to go. He walked downstairs and ate a simple breakfast of cereal and orange juice. "(Today's the day. I'm going to gain my Pokemon, and soon, I'm going to become a master so strong not even the champion will be able to beat me!)" He had high hopes. He picked up his stuff before heading out the door. "I'm leaving!" He called, his voice echoing across the empty house. There would be no one waiting for his return anyways. Only an empty house once more. He could only imagine how much dust it would accumulate until he returned. With that he closed the door and headed out, walking to the Pokemon Lab.

Satchel had a very odd sleeping schedule. He'd go to sleep at 4pm one day, and wake up at 6am the next. It was a nasty crutch, missing Dinner with his family, waking up hours before the sun. Satchel had already been awake by the time his alarm went off, and it got him off guard.

"Good morning, Pallet Town! It's another beautiful day here in the town of new beginnings. Speaking of new beginnings, many are on their way to Professor Oak's Laboratory to obtain their first Pokémon, and become a Pokémon Trainer!"

"Huh? I forgot!" Satchel quickly grabbed his... satchel, and ran downstairs. Briefly grabbing a slab of toast, he chugged down a glass of Lemonade and ran out the door, avoiding confrontation with his parents. The Professor's Lab was just right of his living quarters, so Satchel hadn't need to run. He walked up to the building, and the doors slid open. Before him was another boy starting his journey as a Pokémon trainer.

Shin slowly wakes up and looks out the window, he realizes that it has been one year since his mother has past and his father left but he has went on living his life the best he could. He also realizes that this is the day he gets his vary own pokemon as well, to follow in his fathers footsteps and hopefully find out where he is now would be nice to know. He gets dressed puts his hood up, grabs his shoulder bag and heads out to Professor Oak's lab to get his pokemon. When he enters the lab he sees two other people standing there 'I suppose I'm not the only person who wants a pokemon.' He thinks to him self. He heads over to a wall sets his backpack down and sits down on the floor with his head on his knees listening for Oak to show up.

"Alice. Wake up you're going to be late." Alice could hear her mothers voice, and she felt her mothers young Oddish hop up onto her bed.

She realized what day it was immediately.

"Oh my gosh I'm gonna be late!!!" She suddenly yelled, scrambling up and slapping her clothes on.

She had some extra pairs packed.

"Mom, do you have my bag ready?" She asked.

"I do! Make sure to eat, and come to see me after you have your little pokemon!" Alice nodded and smiled, hugging her mother tight and petting the Oddish goodbye.

"I'll be back!!" She called, running out of her house and straight towards Professor Oaks Lab.

She barged in the door, thinking she was late.

There were three people in there already.

As the four future trainers entered the lab. They waited for the Pokémon professor, Prof. Oak.

 

He eventually entered and smiled. "Hello kids. I am glad you we're able to make it here." He walked around the children and stood next to a,table them pulled on a string that triggered a llight shining on 6 pokéballs. "Here are two of 3 Pokémon, Bulbasaur, the grass type Pokémon. This seed Pokémon highest stat is special power and is strong against rock and ground type Pokémon like this next one, Squirtle. Squirtle is a water turtle Pokémon with a high defense. This Pokémon is weak against electric and strong against fire, like my final Pokémon. Charmander and fire lizard Pokémon with high strength and is strong against bug and grass type which brings us back to Bulbasaur." the Prof. Stepped a little back as the trainers chose thier starter Pokémon, Prof. Oak began to ask a favor. "In the next town, a man has package for me. I was wondering one of you could get it and bring it back to me. Who ever can do this first can have a gift."

     Shin got up, grabbed his shoulder pack, and walked up to the table to grab one of the pokeballs containing Squirtle and nodded to Professor Oak's request. He walked out the building and began his adventure to the next town. 'I wonder what this gift is... But whatever it is, it could be important for me to follow in my father's footsteps.' He thought while following the path.

(Will the Nature of the pokemon be randomly selected too, or up to us?)

 

Fenris didn't hesitate. He stepped forward to where the pokeballs were. He had already decided long ago. He had searched online, watched television. He had made sure that his choice was made before the day came. Yet he could feel the tension as he thought about which pokemon once more. "I choose...Charmander." Fenris said as he picked up the pokeball, staring down at it before throwing it into the air. The pokemon came out. A Charmander stood, blinking and looking around the place at its surroundings. "Yo, Charmander. I'm your new trainer." Fenris said as he smiled. "My name is Fenris Barbosa. You and I are going to go on a great adventure together, as friends, yes?" Fenris said as he spoke to his pokemon, in hopes that there would be an understanding the between the two. He had heard too many stories of pokemon and trainers not getting along on the first meet. He turned over to Professor Oak. "I wish to volunteer to bring you that package. Charmander and I will get it for you." Fenris asked, not really paying attention to the other trainers, especially the one who had just walked out. If he wanted to be a winner...he had to start early.

Satchel walked forward, looking at the collection of Poké Balls sitting there. What Satchel wanted most was a partner, someone who would always be there. Maybe someone with a matching personality. Charmander had power, but Satchel hadn't wished for empowerment. Bulbasaur had speed, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to utilize that to his own benefit. Squirtle, however... Squirtle had high defense. Satchel looked at himself, always having his own "Shield" up. This was the perfect Pokémon for him. He reached out, and grabbed this Poké Ball. He turned his body towards the Professor, not looking into his eyes.

"I'll try to get your package, Mr. Professor Sir." He felt like the good Oak's request was more of a command. He left the building and pressed a small button on the Spherical Container, releasing his new Partner.

"Hello there!" Satchel bent down on his knee. "I'm Satchel. I hope you don't mind being my friend." He pressed the button again, recalling his Pokémon to the Poké Ball.

Hm. Now, before I leave, I should probably find myself a MAP... but where could I find one?

Alice approached the Bulbasaur ball.

She took it, smiling softly.

This pokemon would be the start of new family business, the start of Alice's new adventure and search for grass pokemon.

She had to go show it to her mom.

Alice ran out the door, rushing to her house.

"I've got it!!" She called.

She threw the pokeball out, Bulbasaur appearing in front of the two.

Alice got down on her knees, looking at the cute pokemon.

It's red eyes met her green eyes.

"Hello Bulbasaur. My name is Alice." She said softly.

The pokemon appeared to smile.

"Bulba!!" It cheered.

Alice laughed some, petting Bulbasaur's head.

"This is my mom. You won't be seeing her much, but she is someone you can love." Alice said with a smile.

Her mom greeted Bulbasaur, and said her final goodbyes to Alice, Alice picking up Bulbasaur and the two walked out.

"Professor Oak told me to go to the next town. Let's get going!" She exclaimed.

As the new trainers took their new friends they chose a life as a Pokémon trainer. They all headed out towards the next town in search for Prof. Oak's mysterious 'package'. With the town surrounded by large fences around the east and west and a sea to the south this only leaves The only exit and entrance into town, north towards route 1.

 

(You all can choose the nature of your beginner but I'll choose all the rest. From here on, your adventure will begin you all can journey together or separate. Be as descriptive as possible and do what ever you wish. You do not have to follow The story and the path. Create your own journey. I will decide what you run into and give every detail you need just be creative and enjoy the journey you have now stepped into.)

Fenris looked down at his new partner, a Charmander. It was a boy, and it seemed to be the brave type, as it looked up at Fenris and gave a nod. "Right. Now before we do anything, though. I have something to give you." Fenris said as he reached into his backpack and took out a purple scarf, wrapping it around Charmander's neck. "Team Barbosa!" Fenris said as he gave thumbs up. Charmander looked down at the scarf with sparkly eyes before looking back at Fenris, cheering at him. "Char char!" Charmander squealed. "Right." Fenris said as he then glared at the entrance. "Those guys already left to get the package for professor Oak! We can't let them beat us! Charmander, we have to get going and beat them, are you with me?!" Fenris asked. Charmander cheered with him. Fenris was relieved. He thought he would have to deal with a shy pokemon. "Onward!" With that Fenris started to run and turned back to Charmander. "I'll get you back to your pokeball if you're tired but right now we need to build resistance lets get going!" Fenris said as he started to job with Charmander.

Shin heads north towards the outskirts of town, before leaving he decides to turn around and look at the town once more before leaving. 'I am finally leaving this town... I was waiting for this moment, hoping that one day I could find my father and...' He was unsure if he wanted to finish the last part, but thought that it was best to say and get these feelings in motion. Under his breath he says "Tell him how I truly feel about him." Saying this with gritted teeth. He turns around and looks at his pokemon, "Well I guess it is just you and me now, not sure if we will team up with someone or not but, maybe they won't be able to deal with someone as messed up and selfish as me." He takes his first steps out of town looking at his surroundings, trees everywhere with pokemon on almost every branch. As he travels he can't even remember the last time he left Pallet Town, he starts to remember the fun times he has with his family and stops. He gets on his hands and knees, and falls into a state of shock causing him to pass-out.

"Just five minutes more..."

"WOAAAHH!! What time is it??!! OH NO I´M LATE!!"

Declan shouted as he practicaly jumped off from the bed, of course.. he didn´t thought about landing. "Nggg... it .. hurts..." After getting up quickly he changed his clothes and hurried up as fast as he could. "Oh why I had to oversleep!!!" HE shouted as he finally reached Oak´s lab, after dashing over the entrance..

"Sorry for the delay!!" he said as he looked inside the lab.

When Declan walked in ue was greeted by Prof. Oak. "Why, hello there. I was wondering when you were going to be here." he said reaching over to a lonely pokeball on a table next to him. "This is BBulbasaur. Sorry but since you were late you didn't have much of a choice." he handed the Pokémon over to the young,new,trainer. "Everyone headed of to try and,retrieve a package for me in the next town. Who ever was to bring it back first would receive a gift." Oak tried to catches to boy up to date on the goal of his fellow trainers. "Of course this is not mandatory."

~Satchel~ And So, Satchel headed out towards Route One without picking himself up a MAP. He was sure that one would find his way towards him eventually. Satchel kept his sole Poké Ball on his belt, but quickly began to feel guilty for keeping such a creature trapped. Lifting the ball up, Satchel pressed the button, releasing his Lax Squirtle.

"Squirtle!" The Pokémon belted as it was released. Satchel smiled again, his partner by his side.

"C'mon, let's go get that package!" Together, the two walked into the Tall Grass, only giving Satchel's head some leeway. Squirtle, however, was nearly blinded. Hearing his muffled calls, Satchel picked Squirtle off the Ground, and held him close to his chest.

Don't go into the Tall Grass! Wild Pokémon are everywhere! His father's voice echoed in Satchel's head.

Fenris ran with his Pokemon Charmander. If they were able to gain that package first, they would get a prize. However there was someone around on their way. "Man, they'll get there first! Lets go,wait-!" Fenris said as they two stopped infront of the very tall grass. Fenris took Charmander's scarf and tied it around his wrist and then around Charmander's wrist. "There, now we won't get lost from each other." Fenris said. Charmander cheered and walked with Fenris across the tall grass. They were careful to keep up with each other's pace so they wouldn't separate. "Keep a watchful eye for any Pokemon." Fenris warned. "Char char." Fenris sniffed the air. "Huh. Who's cooking BBQ?" He asked. He slowly turned. Charmander wagged his tail, his flame touching the grass around him and setting them on fire. "Ahhh..." Fenris said nervously. This could take a while to get used to.

Satchel stopped briefly, sniffing the air.

"Huh?" Squirtle began crying out. Squirtle Squirt! "What's wrong? What's that smell?" Satchel turned around, revealing a small fire behind him. "Woah!" Satchel jumped back, and put Squirtle in front of him.

"Please, have a useful move like Bubble or Water Gun..." Satchel stood helplessly as he saw the fire grow slightly. "C'mon, Squirtle! Use BUBBLE!" Satchel shouted, which he only did in emergencies. Squirtle blinked in confusion. "Nothing?" Satchel remarked. "Okay, Water Gun?" Squirtle again, did nothing but stare. Satchel began to worry. What if this fire hurt any of the Wild Pokémon? Satchel began doing what he could to stomp out the fire, tossing the dirt onto the larger flames, and stomping out the smaller, dancing flints. Squirtle began trying to imitate his Trainer, by rolling his shell atop the fires to put them out.

"Good job, Squirtle! don't stop until the flames are gone! You can do it!" Satchel bent down to pet the Pokémon. Squirtle stopped for a moment to cheer, and again started stomping out the fire. After a few minutes, the two had successfully calmed the flames, and laid down to rest. Satchel took out his Poké Ball, and called back Squirtle. A well deserved rest was at hand.

After the flames had died away, a Trainer and his Charmander were revealed. Oh. Satchel walked towards the duo in a hope to make a new friend, despite his nervousness.

"Hi... Um... Was that your fire?" Wow, start off a conversation by blaming the other guy. Nice. "I mean... my name is Satchel." He reached out his hand, nervously.

Fenris turned to the trainer that had put out the flames. Charmander watched as the flames were put out, and quickly went on the defensive in worry that they might go after the flame of his tail. Fenris stepped by his Charmander, staring at the boy. "Yes. The fire was ours. Charmander's tail does have fire, you know. Can't help if the tall grass catches fire cause of it. Besides," Fenris grinned. "Smoke and fire lure out Pokemon to be captured. No tall grass to hide ya know." Charmander growled as it stood next to its trainer. Fenris decided to introduce himself. "I'm Fenris Barbosa. I have yet to determine if I'm pleased to meet you." Fenris said a bit bluntly as he shook his hand. He was never one to go out much, so he wasn't surprised that he didn't know the other trainer from such the small town. "You do realize we plan on winning that gift, right?" Fenris said, his personality finally starting to show of how differently he treated Pokemon vs humans.

Satchel jumped back a bit at the fellow Trainers blunt rudeness. He adjusted himself accordingly and nodded.

"I don't doubt you will. I'm sure you and your Charmander will burn out the competition, eh?" Satchel chuckled at his own joke, slowly falling into a sigh. "Consider me your rival." Satchel was always nervous. Maybe making a friend- or a rival- would help him break out of that shell of his.

"Anyways, I don't think I-" Satchel began dashing off mid-sentence, to both distract Fenris and get a head start. Running through Tall Grass was more dangerous that walking. And with the Fire, imagine how many Pokémon here are scared and ready to attack. Either way, Satchel managed to make it to the first Grass-Free area, and began to head for the next.

As Satchel began to dash off after his confrontation with Fernis a small pack of Rattata jumped out of the remaining tall grass on to the burnt, stomped on ground. "Rat-I-tat!" one cried out and the others followed. Seemed like the one in the ffront was the leader and in fact a little bigger, it must of been the strongest. It seemed that the stronger the Pokémon the bigger it seems to be.

 

(In a battle you will post a command I will actually use the actual formula to determine if you hit/miss and how damage. We will say the leader Rattata is the Lvl 5 like everyone else's Pokémon so far. Charmander only knows Scratch and Growl, Squirtle knows Scratch and Tail whip, Bulbasaur knows tackle and growl. I will calculate experience and let you know when you level up or acquire a New attack. After you say a ccommand I will use the formula and then say what happens all the way up to your next command. Battle do not have to be one on one unless it's a official gym battle match.)

Fenris was about to say something about the burn pun, but was surprised as the trainer ran off. "...huh?! Hey, that's totally cheating!" Fenris said growling, looking down at his Charmander. "Lets show him what we're made off, Charmander!" Fenris said, fixing the scarf around Charmander's neck again. Charmander cheered and agreed, running with Fenris as he ran chasing after the kid. "Hope you know that you're cheating and that I'm going to kick your @$$ because of that!" Fenris hissed, as he chased after the kid. He ended up running into his back. "You-!" He stopped, seeing that an entire group of Rattata standing in the way. "Huh, we just started this adventure and we already get ourselves into trouble." Fenris muttered, Charmander standing by his side. Fenris sighed and looked over at Satchel. "You know, I should leave you to get your butt kicked by all of these pokemon. But how about we make an alliance...we both deliver the package to professor Oak...and we both get the prize...and we both live." Fenris suggested, Charmander already ready to fight.

Satchel was both in shock by the amount of Rattata, and by Fenris' offer of an alliance. He reached for his Poké Ball and released Squirtle, who appeared with another cheer. The amount of Rattata wasn't what discouraged him; It was the size of what seemed to be the leading Rattata. Satchel listened to Fenris' dealings, and nodded. He looked at Squirtle, who seemed to have also nodded in agreement.

"Deal." Satchel looked at the boy. "Just don't white out on me, okay?" Satchel snickered. He looked at the Larger Rattata, and pointed. "Squirtle, use Scratch!"

"Alright! Thanks Professor!" Declan said as he called out his Bulbasaur from his Pokeball. "Hello there buddy. My name´s Declan, nice to meet you" he said as the pokemon smiled, perhaps in sign of frienship. "So let´s go, we are delayed, but first, I need to get my things from home." Declan said as he walked outside the lab, heading to home, as he entered he saw a bag near the door entrance, it was prepared for the journey, however due to the hurries of Declan, he forgot it. "Seriously... next time I´m gonna buy an alarm watch. Sigh, alright then." He said as he closed his house´s door, before parting into the exit of Pallet town, and the start of Route 1.

 

"Mmmm.. well Viridian City should be crossing the route. Fine then." He said as he called out once again to Bulbasaur. "Oh right you need a name. Mmm what to pick?" He muttered as the pokemon looked at him with a confused face. "Oh I know! Argo! that should be your name. Do you like it?" he asked to Bulbasaur, and in response he did a smile. As they walked into the grass zone, Declan saw two boys, perhaps two of the new trainers. "Mmm.. could it be? maybe I´m not too delayed after all."
