Hitman: Absolution is the 5th entry in the Hitman franchise and the first Hitman title since Square Enix acquired developer IO Interactive. It is available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC & Mac. It is a stealth game but it can be played more casually and has five difficulty settings to show this.

Overall gameplay is quite good, you can easily go from stealth to gun play allowing you to choose the way you want to complete each mission which is very good for someone like me who isn't big on stealth, I like stealth elements but not stealth based.

Graphically the game is nice, but it's not stunning by any means. Also, I don't think the cutscenes are consistent with the game's overall graphical style which is a shame.

Music and sound is quite good.

The story is okay, but it's nothing memorable. The characters have their moments but again, none are really memorable aside from Agent 47, the character you play as.

There is plenty of replay value if you enjoy the game as you can complete the missions in various ways, and they also have a contracts mode where you can make your own contacts, in this mode where you make your own missions based on story areas. You can also play other user generated missions.

There's plenty of trophies/achievements to collect if you're up for that.

Overall it's a very good game.

There is little to no replay value, but they do have a contracts mode where you can make your own contacts, but unless you really enjoy the game there will be little reason to play this mode where you make your own missions based on story areas. You can also play other user generated missions.

Overall it's a good game but nothing special.

Nice review. What's your opinion on the older games if you've played them?

Excuse me, no replay value? Then why did I get hooked on it for a year and hardly play any other game? It has a lot of replay value for me since I like to do the basic plot of the game and kill people, but in all good fun and would never do it outside the game.

Because you really enjoyed it, I'm sorry if that wasn't clear.

Nah, I've never played the older ones.

Nah, I've never played the older ones.

Ah, if you ever want to try them, i suggest blood money. It's the best hitman game imo.
