Film Frozen 2

They don't have tons of money, they where struggling before Frozen. Personally, i don't feel like telling the exact same story in reverse makes for a great sequel. And I'm not bashing it, I just don't think giving it a sequel is a good idea.

 

Seriously, can't someone say they think something is bad idea without immediately being branded a hater?

 

Your entitled to your own opinion, that's fine. You can disagree with mine, that's also fine. But when you say I'm "bashing" it that carries a negative connotation that implies that my opinion is invalid.

 

What? They were doing fine before.

Regardless or not Frozen 2 will do get good reviews or not, people will still watch it. Including kids. They will want to see it no matter what because its Frozen and Disney. They get a lot of money just for that.

It can get a 30/100 and still do fairly well in box office. They will still make a profit.

Obviously they are able to take a good risk with this.

Plus merchandise will sell because kids are wanting it, teens and adults aren't their main demographic for merchandise.

So, Disney caved and decided to make a sequel to Frozen completely ignoring the fact that every time they've done a sequel to a movie in their animated canon it was terrible.

Now I like Frozen but a sequel to any of Disney's Animated Classics just sounds like a terrible Idea to me because I had to grow up though those cringe-worthy films.

 

if you're talking about the direct to video movies that DisneyToon did, I agree with you, but the sequels that the main Disney Animation Studios have done are awesome. case in point:

 

 

 

Given WDAS' recent track record of making great films for the past few years, I personally have faith that they'll knock this one out of the park, even if it's a sequel. I also found it interesting how they've waited until this long to announce a sequel; makes me think that they've been working really hard to come up with a good story and it took them until now to come up with one. So I have faith that it'll be up to par
