A crisp morning, that December was. A cold, average day. quiet, at least until twelve PM. That, of course, was the opening hour of Mainstreed, the Questboards, and the Cherrywood Bar and Wood fire Pizza restaurant, a well-known hang out spot of a specific low-grade monster-bashing team, as well as where we find said team blacked out, on the floor, like usual.

 

NeverBetter awoke with a grunt, coughing up a ball of hair, he tried to recall last night's events. "That's the last time I let Yuffie get my drinks... I think I bit a chunk out of Silver's hair again..." He sighed picking himself up off the ground, he looked around at the rest of his drunken and sleeping team.

 

"All of you, get up, please!" NeverBetter called to his teammates. 

 

(Welcome to the world we now as Alternate. I have just put us all here for now, as I feel its the easiest way to do things in terms of kicking us off.  Let the posting commence!)

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

Soul moaned loudly, the prospect of waking up early quite annoying for him. In fact, any time that he didn't wake himself up was considered early, but he'd get over it with a can of juice. Walking over to NeverBetter, Soul scowled at his obvious lack of height. "What did we even do last night? All I remember is... a cat... maybe a.... no..." Letting out a great sigh, he shoved his hands into his pockets, ready for the challenges of the day.

Nortanort woke up, groaning. He found himself in a puddle of... Well, he wasn't quite sure what it was, and he'd rather not know. He pulled himself up, and leaned against a bar stool. He then noticed something was missing. "Alright, which one of you... Oh wait, there's Clarise," he yelled, before seeing his gun on the floor near where he had been laying. He walked over to it, picked it up, and returned to his previous position. He then looked over at NeverBetter, and said, "I get the odd feeling I punched someone. Anyone else here remember that?"

Soul picked up his light weight scythe, giving it a toss or two. He honestly didn't know how to fight with it. "I remember Yuffie and lots of piano... I think I called out to you, but you never replied."

"All I know is that I was drinking. Or maybe that was the night before. Or the night before the night before. I don't know." Yuffie mentioned, sitting upright. She yawned loudly, and rubbed her forehead. She was kind of tired." Yuffie spun her shuriken between her fingers, and stood up. "Anyway, what are we gonna do? Not just sitting around I hope. Kinda boring that is."

Silver was less than pleased.

 

He wasn't one to drink, but even then he was forced into a fight against a drunken NeverBetter, which resulted in the loss of a part of his hair. And Silver did like his hair--it took a special skill to get his bangs in the pointed, dark way they were. He frowned as he glanced up at the others around him, and growled at NeverBetter for a moment. 

"Why does everything have to end in a fight with you?"

"Who dare disturb my slumber..." Neko muttered, still half-asleep.

Soul had moved so she was a bit colder seeing as Soul and Silver were actually kinda keeping her warm because she was laying in between the two.

Neko just sat up, groaning.

"I'm still sleepy."

Whatever it is, I'm throwing every bottle of it in existence into an incinerator." NeverBetter pulled a strand of hair out of his teeth and called to the bartender "Morning juices for everyone, please!" the bartender growled. "I wish the boss would just kick these fools out and put them on the watch list..."

"No, but that wall over there looks like the unfortunate recipient of a blow to the face." NeverBetter pointed at the wall behind the counter with a fist-sized hole.

She yawned loudly, and rubbed her forehead. She was kind of tired." Yuffie spun her shuriken between her fingers, and stood up. "Anyway, what are we gonna do? Not just sitting around I hope. Kinda boring that is."

"We're paying for you to go to alcoholic's anonymous." NeverBetter kid. "We have to go and grab another mission. Can't go without a team base much longer, y'know?: NeverBetter stated plainly. "And money isn't a thing in any of our pockets right now, quite sadly."

[Captain Arrowguns 466]

"Morning, all." Cap said, as he got up from the chair he'd been sleeping on, "I've gotta say, you guys really outdid yourselves last night. Frankly, I'm surprised at least half of you weren't kicked out." Cap said, happy he didn't have to deal with the hangover everyone else was going through right now. The first time he went out drinking with the team, he woke up the next day with no memory of what happened the night before, covered in blue paint and wearing someone else's pants. Since then, Cap decided he'd avoid drinking while at the bar, and make sure none of his teammates did anything overly stupid while drunk. "By the way Nortanort, if you ever run into an attractive young redhead named Lucy, you should probably apologize to her."

Axel was stretched across a group of stools when he woke up. He rubbed his head, and yawned. "Good morning, every-" He was interrupted as he rolled to the side, and crashed to the ground. He pulled himself up, and laughed awkwardly. "Uh... I don't remember falling asleep there." He said. "Or anything from last night, for that matter." He muttered. He sat on the same stool his head had been resting on, waiting for his drink to arrive. I hope I didn't do anything too stupid... He thought to himself as he sat quietly.

"Morning, man." Soul greeted. Sensing Axel's doubt, he added, "Oh, don't worry. I can't even remember you at all last night."

 

Sitting beside Neko, he rubbed her shoulder. "Come on kitty, time to wake up."

Neko punched Soul in the face, sending him flying backwards.

"Don't touch me." she snapped, standing up and petting her hair down. 

"I do not want to know what happened last night. I probably did something...not like me."

"We kissed." Silver told Neko; a blatant lie, but for one thing he could barely remember, and second he knew it would really rile her up. He grinned, and gently poked the back of her shoulder, "Seems like the other kitty isn't too happy."His cat ears flicked with a bit of amusement at the scenario, and his tail lashed about as his mischievous side rose up. it was pretty good to be a bit teasing here and there, especially when it came to Neko....now, if he could only exact some revenge of NeverBetter, this would become a pretty productive day.

(Well that escalated quickly.)  

 

At soon as Silver said that, she was first like this. 

 

 

 

 

 

But then she was like. 

"WHAT." Neko suddenly blurt out, her face completely red.

She point her pistol at Silver.

"Does anyone know if this is a true or false statement?" she asked everyone.

"Totally true, I can vouch for this." Soul chirped, his mood ruined. Snatching an Orange juice, he gulped it in one shot.

Silver thought for a moment, and realized this probably wasn't going to be good. Although Neko was rather adorable for a second, the gun pointed in his direction was the exact opposite of that, now. He swallowed, his eyes staring right into the dark barrel of her pistol.

And of course, Soul had to vouch for Silver's lie. Had they actually kissed? Silver couldn't remember at all, but he was certain that he couldn't have gotten drunk. Alcohol wasn't his thing.

"Anything to say?" Neko asked, suddenly just hitting Silver in the head with her gun and sitting down on a bar stool.

"What happened last night, stays in this bar." she said seriously, looking at her friends in the eye.

Cap gave a quiet chuckle as he listened in on the ongoing conversation. He'd been sober and observing the entire thing, and Silver and Neko didn't kiss. Well, not from what he saw, anyway. Silver and Soul were probably just pulling her leg, although to be fair, it wasn't really that hard to do. "Don't you think you're overreacting a tad, Neko? Besides, they're just joshing you... I think." Cap said, casually sipping his glass of orange juice.

Silver quietly revsolved to actually doing this the next time, just to see what would happen. Would he get hit? Probably. But no worse than the tap he had just received. His ears flicked as he gently rubbed his scalp after the blow, even though it really didn't hurt all too much.

"Anyways, with that settled, what are we going to do today? I suppose another drunken party isn't likely to happen..?"

"Are you sure, Captin'?" Neko asked, her gaze turning towards him. 

"You never know with these two." she said seriously.

"Also, I'm always overdramatic." Neko hardly smirked.

She didn't even bother listening to Silver, but she did go and sit beside him.

Soul stared nonchalantly at Silver. "I definitely know what I'm doing on the next party."

"What would that be, Soul?" Neko just had to ask.

"I would love to know." 

[Silvia Kuroi 1,480]

Silver glared at Soul, his tail thrashing and nearly hitting Neko, who had suddenly moved to sit beside him. Silver thought about that for a second, but his tail resumed its movement as he continued to glare.

"And that is? If its embarrassing I may have to...well, ensure that doesn't happen. And it if it involves Neko-chan here in any way, well, that'll be even worse."

 

(Any one else thing too cat-people sitting next to each is sort of adorable?)

"It involves three goats, a sheaf of wheat, and an ogre." He muttered.

 

"You thought I was going to say 'kiss you,' didn't you."
