The ninja battles continue! 

 

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has been officially announced, and it looks like it's going to cover the last section of the Naruto story, as referenced by the images of Naruto and Sasuke in their Six Paths modes. Not only that, but Naruto's look from "The Last" is on the scan too, saying that he'll be in the game, which is pretty much confirmation that "The Last" will probably be a crucial part of the story mode as well. There is also confirmation that a demo will be playable by the time that Jump Festa 2015 comes around. This is all the information present.

 

So yeah: Ninja Storm on current-generation consoles... I'dbelyingifIsaidIwasn'tthetiniestbithyped.

Anyway I was kind of hoping they'd make a Naruto Storm Annivarsary after this installment where they would put in ALL the characters and Plot in one... Oh well...

Well dangit I have an Xbox One(well it's my brother's Xbox One) and there won't be a Ps3 version I assume

 

I don't have enough money right now to get a Ps4 soooooo.....eh I'll wait a couple more years.....maybe until the Ultra Version of Street Fighter 5 comes out

The scan says that the primary console the game will be on is PS4, but that could change unless confirmed from another source otherwise. Considering the majority of Storm games have been on both Playstation AND Xbox consoles, the possibility of Storm 4 being on Xbox One is higher than it staying PS4 exclusive.

Well Storm 1 was a Ps3 exclusive if I remember correctly so this might end up being the same,if it happened with SF5 it can possibly happen with Naruto

It was, but Storm 2, Generations, Storm 3, and Revolution weren't. Storm 4 can very likely follow the same pattern.

Thank God I didn't buy Revolution. Looks like I gotta have a long way to go for this...

I'm actually hoping this one will go over the story of the entire series, including The Last. I've got a few things I'm hoping this will add (Which I'll probably list in another post soon here)

I'm sure this will come to Xbox One and PC at some point, too. Revolution was never stated to be coming to Steam until a month or two before release. Not to mention that every game in the Ultimate Ninja series since Storm 2 has been on PlayStation and Xbox systems, so it would just be weird if they stopped with this one. They'll announce it soon, I'm almost 100% sure of that.

 

The question is...what will CC2 do next?

I'd personally like it if they'd go back to the .Hack series, or at least work on remaking them all and localizing them... That would never happen, though.

The graphics are so on par with the animation style, you can't tell if you're watching the anime or playing the game. It's the final Storm game, but there is no mention of it being the last Naruto game. This is probably something most of us figured would probably be a thing.

Holy crap... Not sure if I can believe those screenshots. That's just insane. ._. I can't believe this is a Storm game.

 

Also, last Storm game, but I bet we'll get more Ultimate Ninja games. I'm just curious what we'll get after this.

According to a Japanese news site, Storm 4 will feature "alterable stages" as well as "more strategic boss battles".

I was too. I mean, the Storm series has always been on par with the anime appearance, but damn if I haven't seen a hole-in-one!

The designs are on par, but the art style usually still makes it distinguishable. This is the first time I've actually had to question whether or not I'm seeing images from the game itself or the anime. They look exactly alike now. I'm wondering if that's going to keep up when we see what the normal battles are like, though.

We have a first gameplay trailer! (Well. . . teaser). It's Hashirama vs. Madara, and I have to say. . . I was speechless while I was watching the clip.
