Soravids 1,056 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) Okay, lets start with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. So far, I've only seen the opening to this game, but it was beautiful! The music, the characters, and the CG get me just as excited now as they did back in 2006. The very first scene after the opening lets you feel the games age a little, but I feel like all the others so far look good enough to have been a PS3 game to begin with. The graphics are everything you could hope for of an HD remaster of a PS2 game in my opinion. The character models look very detailed with lots of facial expression that wasn't there before. The voice acting was really clear and crisp so far. This game does amazingly as an HD remaster. I think it's safe to say that the put the most effort into this title. That's really all I can say until I actually get into some gameplay. Now for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. I've played about 6 hours of this so far. The opening CG scene was very clear on the big screen with crisp music. I saw a huge difference in the character models. In my opinion, Ven and Aqua looked the most polished. The opening segments of gameplay showed me that the camera had massive improvements from the original game. I chose to start with Terra because I believe the game is best played in the order of Terra, Ven, and Aqua. The Disney environments don't look quite as polished as the Land of Departure's in my opinion, but still look great nonetheless. The voice acting is crisp and really fits into the remaster nicely. I haven't heard any remastered music yet, but there is some towards the end. No glitches yet, the game is perfectly stable from what I can see so far. The loading times have been amazing. It's only took about 3-5 seconds to load a room. I truly believe that if you told me this game was originally a PS3 game and I had no way of proving you wrong, I'd believe it. Anyway, I haven't watched Re:coded yet, but I'll probably do so later tonight.
