On a fine day where the Sun rises, the scenery brightens all over the hometown for a pleasant morning. One of those houses,lived by a boy with a friendship heart,who is still in a good sleep. The boy with a spiky hair,sleeps on his bed at the bedroom,knowing that the boy was in good dreams as it shows where the smiles on his face remarks a pleasant mood. Until then, a cheerly voice was been heard in the boy's bedroom,as the voice was coming from downstairs.
"Sora! Breakfast ready,come on down!"
The boy finally wakes up as he heard that voice,knowing where that voice belongs to. The boy immediately jump out of his bed after waking up and went to the door that leads outside to his room. As he went down,he take his breakfast as he eat his toasted bread with a jam that has been served on the plate at the table with a cheerful face.
"Thanks Mom! This bread is so delicious!"
Sora replied with a delicious taste to his tongue that he takes while his mother smiles with joy while washing the dishes at the kitchen. As he finished his breakfast and carry his plate to the kitchen to hand over to his mother for washing it,Sora was trying to make a favor to her.
"Mom,if it's alright,can i go out and play?"
"Sure,but you gotta take a shower first. Be careful out there,okay?"
"Okay, I will! Thanks Mom!"
Sora immediately went to his room to take a shower after hugging his mother as a sign of his gratitude to her,where it leaves a pleasant smile on her face. As Sora have already change his attire,he went out from his house and ran fast as he can,as if he was like a wind that blistering all over the place. As he stopped running for a moment,he arrived on someone's house,which seems that he wants to find someone from that residence.
"Riku! Are you there? Riku!"
As Sora shout on a balcony of the house where Riku's room nearby,the window opens where a young boy with a Silver hair approach to the balcony in order to see Sora.
"Sora,you're up early. What is it?"
"Today's the day! It's the day we get to go to that Island! Let's go!"
"Easy there. Let's meet at the Jetty."
"Okay,see you there!"
As Sora running with an overexcited feelings after giving a reply to Riku,the Silver hair kid sighed with a grin on his face,remark that he knew about his friend's expression.
"He's so energetic. Well, I should get going."
Riku immediately leave the balcony and his house as he went to the Jetty where Sora waited impatiently. As both of them meet,they began to take a raft in order to get to the island.
As they arrived on the Island's jetty,they began to walk on the island shore as they stopped at the smaller island where the Paopu fruit tree grew by taking a road to the smaller wooden house that leads to upstairs. Then, they began to sit on the tree,and look at the Sun that reflects to the ocean so beautifully.
"Sora,do you want to know how this island build?"
"Sure,I would like to know more. Tell me about it!"
"Well,where do I begin,since i heard this from my Dad. They say,not only that both of our Dads build and hang out together in this place,there was a Young Kid who was here before our Dads showed up. That kid appear before the island was built long ago,and I also heard that he was he strongest guy in our town that helped many people back then."
"Cool,then he must be a hero!"
"Maybe,but all that happen have been changed when he leave the island."
"Really? Why that happen?"
"From what I heard,my Dad said that he wants to become strong by taking a journey faraway from here. To be honest, I dunno why he wants to become strong for. I mean,he's already strong in our town and yet,he decides to become more stronger right now..."
"Gee,I wonder why..."
" I think,that maybe there is a reason that he wants to become strong. Maybe he wants to know more about the place outside from this place,a place where it something much bigger than here..."
"You know Riku,you sure are talking weird sometimes."
"*chuckle* Guess I really am..."
Both of them are having a lot of good times as they talking and laughing together. As they continue talking,Riku suddenly come up with a question that he wants to discuss with Sora.
"Hey Sora,can I ask a question?"
"Sure! What is it?"
"If you have a chance to get outside from this place,what would you do?"
"Hmm....I think I would like to meet new people besides the people from our town. I mean,it's like what you said,there could be a place where it was something much bigger. And for that, I may get to meet many people someday.
" I see,so that's your opinion..."
"What about you,Riku? What would you like to do on the outside place?"
"For me, I think I want to become strong,too. Just like that Young Kid..."
"Really? And why's that?"
"It's a secret~"
"Aw,come on! You can just tell me! If it's a secret,I can keep it,promise!"
"You sure about this?"
"Absolutely!"
"...Well,here goes. I want to become strong because I want to protect my friends,like you. You're my precious friend,Sora..."

"Is my opinion sounds bad?"
"Nope,I kinda like it. I agree with you,Riku. And I think I want to become strong too!"
"Really? And what's the reason?"
"Protecting my best friend like you! That's what friends are for!"

They both are having a touching moment of their friendship in the end. As the sun sets so suddenly,the began to standing up after sitting at the tree for so long. Then,Riku suddenly try to take a Paopu fruit from the tree by using his wooden toy sword to shake the tree down. Since it takes a lot of time for a single person to do it,Sora help Riku to get the fruit down. The fruit finally fall down from the tree, and both of them are sharing that fruit for eating together.
"Hey Sora,do you know about the Legend of Paopu Fruit?"
"No, I haven't. All I know from Selphie is that it was a love story."
"Well,some of those are correct. If two or more people share the fruit,their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain in each other's lives,no matter what."
"Wow Riku,you sure know more something about this."
"Well, I learned it from my friend,nothing in particular..."
"Then again,this fruit is delicious!"
They both spending their time by eating Paopu fruit together until the last sweet have been chewed. As they began to head down to the shores,Sora began to have an idea based on his simple looks that can be read.
"Hey Riku,how bout we have a race to the end of the shores?"
"Sure,but I'm gonna tell you that I'm a lot faster than you!"
"Oh yeah,we'll see!"
"Ready..."
"Set."
"Go!"
Both of them began to run like a wind with a full of joy. As they arrived at the end of the shores,they began to head back to their home by taking a raft again. Then,Sora suddenly look back and take a last view on the island that he always play along with Riku.
"You know,I really love our island. It's a place for us to play!"
"True. Next time,we should bring Tidus and the others too."
"Yeah,you're right!"
As they almost arrived at the hometown island,Sora began to hear a strange voice.

"Do you say something,Riku?"
"No, I haven't said anything..."
"Huh....weird.I think I really hear someone's voice. Probably my imagination..."
As they have arrived at the shores,the two of them began to head home as the night have been take places and the millions of stars began to show up in the sky,remark of an ending of the day,yet a new beginning for tomorrow...
